another extreme talent ...passed....... -- shiela cranney -----Many of you will remember her, fluffy headed Sheila, crazy mail call person. her wonderful creativity during the service dog project phase of her life was  beyond joyful--- i tried to locate my favorite picture of sheila coming in teh front door wearing only a  wooden barrell - high heels and cowboy hat... or.. ...  pushing me in  on the big wheel penny farthing bike--there were mail call days we could not speak for laughing so hard.

she was such an accomplished "jerry rigger".   too...  she could. get an idea for teh tuesday mail call and scratch around here and find pieces of whatever to put together some whacko scheme .. and have everyone in stitches...  we did have fun...
.i hope SAINT PETER  is ready for the uproar and animals following those two.... sheila did have 5 dogs--- most handicapped.. with diapers and wheels

between   pam and sheila, it must not be "gone but not forgotten" --rather gone but we must remember  the lessons both those people taught us..pam with her dance... and shiela with her barrell.. --hard to move on.. but we must remember those lessons...

in response to yestrdays "why" topic....
Carlene,
I worked for many years, supervising young, bright scientists who thought that they knew everything and never asked why things had to be done certain ways. After fixing and cleaning up many messes, I would always tell them, there are no stupid questions, just stupid mistakes, because you didn't ask the question. Most got it, some thought that they knew better. Pride cometh before the fall. They fell alot.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Jackie

and paula has gone home....

Good afternoon. I was watching the nursery cam about 1 hr. ago and Paula was up on the futon and Moira and Alexis were playing. It looked like Moira got a little rough with Alexis and bite down on Alexis, Paula jumped down and grabbed Moira by the neck and pushed her down and then just ran her nose back and forth across her head. I’m sure she was saying “don’t do that”. I can not do videos. But you may be able to rewind. You talk about mothers discipline all the time and this was a good example. Have a great day.
