TWO BIG THINGS... #1 dark dog in sun or any dog in the hot sun...it is too hot to have any of these danes-- particularly the black/dark ones- in the sun for any more than a walk thru-- sometimes it takes just a few steps planning to get them into the shade.. you must not stand and talk to someone in the sun and be oblivious of the heat a black dog is enduring.. now that we are into what i would call summer (i.e. the huge snow pile in boston finally melted yesterday...) you must plan for your dog's welfare--- that does not include lying on a beach with no shade...
i am reminded of a dog i know-- who was in a car on the south east expressway when the airconditioning quit-- even with the windows open-- the dog did not survive. it was a bulldog type-- which has breathing problems anyway, but the lesson is there.
boating..- not only should you have life jackets on them, but you must watch yhem carefully and have shade available -- umbrellas... whatever... keep your eye on the heat factor.

bryan and tukka ( aka agatha) were here yesterday---she is doing a super job... plus is alerting for an oncoming seizure. not something she could have been trained for... ( how would we practice?) some of the things she has alerted for are amazing.. like a malfunctioning pacemaker test in the hospital...
sounded a bit like maude getting help for the husband of her partner who's electric chair had pinched him under the sink...
lesson here is--- before you decide they are misbehaving, ask why are they doing whatever... they do talk... better listen...

voodoo has got as far as zurich... for a 6 hour lat over before LX52 to boston
this is one place where the animal rights people have done a great job...
usually.....i say because voodoo is not here yet... but swiss air has already called me to be sure i am expecting her arrival tonight.. -
bud has been volunteered as driver--- i kind of volunteered him... i still need one more ...maybe megan? who might have to stay at colleen's overnight if the flight is late??? yet to be determined... grace and gwen will hold the fort. plus we have 2 cp's here to help.
a sub-interesting part..... i did not give them my cell phone number-- it is just too unreliable- so i gave the house phone and megan's cell..
last time i tried to use my cell to call AAA i could hear them- but they could not hear me... and if it was not that , it would be some other wierd malfunctioning. i have no faith in that thing... but i do carry it... it give me just one more thing to misplace.

on the topic of technology----this year.. 2015, i want to figure out the spacing on this email stuff-- sometimes it double spaces-- other times not..i search for the reason,,, obviously unsuccessfully i might add....

this tech bit seems to work well....thanks to twan it is fun to watch voodoo's plane as it crosses the atlantic... i watched it get from venice to zurich and land ----carefully noting the altitude decreasing to zero...

WITH A TODDLER LESS THAN TWO YEARS OLD. ZENA WAS VERY GENTLE WITH THE LITTLE
GIRL AND SEEMED TO LIKE HER. AT ONE POINT ZENA WAS LAYING BY THE PICNIC TABLE.
THE GIRL DECIDED TO GO BETWEEN THE TABLE AND ZENA, BUT HAD TO STEP OVER ZENA'S
LEGS. SHE STARTED TO LOSE HER BALANCE, AND ZENA STUCK OUT HER NOSE AND HELPED
THE GIRL REGAIN HER BALANCE. IT WAS SOOO CUTE. MOM WAS AMAZED. MY BEAUTIFUL,
