NOW I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE SEX LIFE OF SILVERWARE-- BUT...
.I NOW HAVE A ONE OR TWO FORKS.... NO KNIVES AND AN INCREDIBLE NUMBER OF SPOONS.
THEY SEEM TO MULTIPLY AT THE EXPENSE OF THE KNIVES...
I DO NOT KEEP THE "TABLEWARE" IN A DRAWER.....
SINCE MY HUSBAND GAVE UP HIS PRACTICE (?25 YEAARS AGO...? ), IN AN EFFORT TO RE USE/RECYCLE ALOT OF THE PARAPHERNALIA NECESSARY FOR A DR's OFFICE I HAVE FOUND A USE FOR MOST ANYTHING STAINLESS STEEL..... THIS IS WHY AROUND HERE YOU WILL FIND THINGS NOT OFTEN FOUND IN THE NORMAL HOME.---LIKE THE LOVELY STAINLESS STEEL "STANDS" IN WHICH I KEEP MY SILVERWARE RIGHT BY THE SINK.. THESE WERE ONCE USED TO HOLD VARIOUS SPECULUMS IN STERILE SOLUTIONS...
IT IS INTERESTING ... 50% OF THE POPULATION IS SHOCKED TO SEE THEM USED THUSLY . ( THAT WOULD BE TEH 50% THAT ARE WOMEN)

SPEAKING OF THE CUTTING OF THE FOODS.... I DID GET A SECOND WOOD CHIPPER AS BACK UP FOR STEVE'S OPERATION OF BEEF SHREADING.. HE IS NOW GONE FOR A WEEK OR TWO... IN SEARCH OF A NEW KNEE. I HOPE HE CAN CALL DURING MAIL CALL-- I COULD PUT IT ON SPEAKER PHONE...
SINCE HE WILL HAVE TIME SITTING AROUND...... HE IS GOING TO TRY AND MAKE A HOSPITAL "JOHNNY" OUT OF PURINA DOG FOOD BAGS.
.... I SUGGESTD TO HIM THAT HE GET SOME NUTS AND BOLTS AND PUT THE TWO TOGETHER FOR OUR WORKSHOP AS OUR COLLECTION IS TOO RANDOM TO GET A MATCHING PAIR WHEN NEEDED IN A RUSH......
A CAMERA PERSON THOUGHT THAT MIGHT BE RISKY TO SIT IN A HOSPITAL BED DRESSED IN DOG FOOD BAGS THREADING NUTS ONTO BOLTS.. THE "AUTHORITIES" MIGHT TRANSFER HIM TO A DIFFERENT WARD.

I HAD AN EMALI FROM A CP WHO IS A COUSIN OF JOHN KERRY ABOUT VOODOO TRANSPORT FROM VIENNA...---
Too bad she wasn't ready to go last week. She could have flown back with Johnny Kerry on the State dept plane. He flew back to Boston from Vienna. He often takes his dog with him, but doubt he did this time. Still, he wouldn't have minded a dog to travel with.

Carlene: Well, after almost 2 years of being matched, the bond between Elsie & Jeanine is stronger than ever, and Elsie continues to amaze us as she helps in new ways . Let me tell you her latest amazing feat:
Besides having MS, Jeanine also suffers from epilepsy, Thankfully, her seizures have been under control with medication since before Elsie joined our family.
Recently, Jeanine’s doctor has been adjusting her medications. We are on vacation this week, and Jeanine was taking a nap. Elsie came and “nose nudged “ her and barked several times, which is very unusual behavior, so Jeanine thought it must be an urgent nature call, but Elsie didn’t need to go out. Food and water situations were all good.
Jeanine sat back down and Elsie kept nudging her in the face until Jeanine told her to stop. About 10 minutes later, our daughter came in from another part of the house and asked Jeanine: “Are you okay? Elsie keeps nudging me and won’t leave me alone.” Again, very unusual behavior, as Elsie seldom will leave Jeanine’s side. Jeanine assured her that she was okay, but our daughter stayed in the same room as she was now curious about why Elsie was acting this way. About 10 minutes later, Jeanine had a seizure.
Jeanine is fine, and her doctor is confident that this was a “break-through seizure” caused by the medication change and will go away when her body adjusts to the new medication levels. However, we were once again amazed by Elsie’s great Great Dane instinct. How does she know what Jeanine needs? We will never know the answer to that question, but are very glad that she is here!
We knew that you would want to hear about what a wonderful job Elsie is doing. Thank you for everything that you do to make these wonderful dogs available to do this work !
