WE HAVE SOME DARN GOOD DOGS-- I WOULDN'T WANT MEGAN AND THE REST TO GET A BIG HEAD OVER IT AND WANT A RAISE, BUT THE LAST WEEK WE PUT OUT SOME GOODIES.. STARTING WITH LARZ AND JOHN

Good morning Just wanted to tell you Lars made it home safe and had a great night last night. For his first night with kids running around he was great. What a blessing that you provided to me I am honored to have him with me helping me. Your two trainers Meg and Kati are two professional trainers that were great they assisted me in ways other than the dog, going to places that are hard for me like the mall, Home Depot, Market basket and a restaurant they pushed me with Lars which was very helpful I owe them both for that! I couldn't have done it with out them. Thank you for all you and your staff are doing not just for us veterans but all your clients. You made me a believer that's for sure. I will be back soon and I can't say it enough thank you for all you do!! John Caplis

THE OTHER 3 HAVE NOT BEEN GONE LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO HAVE AN EMAIL REPORT. AND UNTIL THEY DO I WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO REMEMBER WHO HAS WHO--- SENIOR SHORT TERM MEMORY THING-- BUT I KNOW THERE WERE 3 MORE STARRTING OUT. I KNOW ... I TESTED AND SIGNED THEIR "BADGES" .
IT TAKES ABOUT 6 MONTHS FOR PARTNERSHIPS TO RIPEN AND GET IN STEP-- BUT THESE 4 ARE WELL ON THEIR WAY...
AND THEN "MISS OCTOBER" CAME TO VISIT-- WHAT A SPECTACULAR DOG SHE IS-- RIGHT ON THE BALL---WATCHING MARIE AND DOING EXACTLY..... SHE SAID THEY WENT TO A CHRISTMAS PARTY AND SHE AND HER HUSBAND GOT TO DANCE- LEAVING SIENNA LYING DOWN BY THE CORNER OF THE DANCE FLOOR. THEY APPARENTLY HAD SOME PROBLEM WITH "YOU CAN'T BRING THAT DOG...." THEY GOT LYNNE RIGHT ON IT.... SHE IS GOOD....SHE LET THE WIND OUT OF THE POWER STRUCTURE... AND SIENNA BEHAVED PERFECTLY.
THAT LAST LITTER OF BENTLEY AND SCARLOTT CONTAINES GEORGE.. LARZ.. SIENNA.. GOLDIE ALONG WITH BOO AND RIOT- IF THE NEXT LITTER HAS 5 BOOS AND ONE GEORGE OR LARZ ---IT WILL STILL BE WORTH IT... AND STATISTICALLY IT SHOULD NOT .. BUT WE MIGHT GET ONE WHITE.. THAT IS NOT A REALLY BIG DEAL-- BESIDES -- THE CHALLANGE I S OUT TO MADDY TO MAKE AN AGILITY DOG OF RIOT..... THE BEST DANE AGILITY DOG IN THE COUNTRY WAS A WHITE DEAF "NICO" TRAINED BY BETH( WHO IS AROUND HERE SOMETIMES)
MEANTIME RIOT NEEDS SOME WORK ON A LEASH--- SHE IS SCARING HERSELF AT TIMES AND NEEDS SOMEONE TO SAY "LEAVE IT" ( IN HAND SIGNALS) SHE NEEDS CONFIDENCE AND THAT COMES WITH SOME HAND WALKING.. SHE ALSO NEEDS TO LEARN TO GO WHERE I AM POINTING... THAT IS A SPOON FEED THING. AT MAILCALL SHE CAN NOT FIGUER OUT WHY I FEED BAILEY AND NOT HER ---SHE NEEDS TO GO TO STEVE-- OR WHOEVER HAS THE SECOND CAN..... THAT TRAINING COULD BE DONE IN THE NICE WARM LIVING ROOM IN FRON TOF TH E FIREPLACE. 2 PEOPLE 2 SPOONS 2 CANS-- WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PULL THAT OFFF..
************
WANDA WHO IS TO BE OUR RAT CHASER-- I AM HAPPY TO REPORT SHE IS GUARDING OUR FIREPLACE SO WELL THAT THERE IS NOT ONE RAT IN THAT FIREPLACE.-- SHE HAS TAKEN TO SLEEPING ON THE BENCH RIGHT WHERE THE HEAT IS BEST... ON DUTY.
************
SHEILA SAID SHE WOULD BE AROUND TODAY BEFORE SHE SLIDES BACK DOWN TO THE 82 DEGREE WEATHER... WE STILL HAVE TO FIGURE OUT IF SHE IS TAKEING A DOG TO JANET-- WE HAVE SOME DETAILS TO FIGURE OUT FIRST... LIKE ??WHO???
HER FLIGHT IS LATE TOMORROW AFTERNOON... IF WE CAN FIGURE OUT IF AND WHO TODAY-- WE STILL WOUDL NEED GOERGE TO WAVE HIS HAND OVER THE DOG BEFORE NOON... COULD BE WE ARE PUSHING IT TOO FAST.
I WOULD WANT HIP XRAYS BEFORE THEY THINK OF BREEDING HER--- WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH HIPS -- ANY PROBLEM WE HAVE HAD-- LIKE PERRY-- ARE VERY VISABLE BY 6 MONTHS WITHOUT A VETERNARIAN 'S HELP. WHAT MAY NOT WORK IS THAT TO DO THE HIP XRAYS INVOLVES HANDILING THAT A PUP WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND WITHOUT ANY WARNING... SO TO DO XRAYS AND FLY FOR THE FIRST TIME AL IN THE SAME DAY.. JUST MIGHT NOT WORK...

STAY TUNED......
MUDDLING ON....

Mia is doing good. Had an appointment with my cardiologist yesterday for a clearance for my upcoming DBS surgery starting next week. It didn't go good and I had to be taken to the hospital across the street by ambulance. Mia never left my side. She walked beside the stretcher all the way to the elevator, walked right in and stood beside me. Couldn't hold her leash because I was strapped in. She did it all own her own. Steve said he would walk her across the street and see if she had to take care of business before going to the ER. When they were coming into my room I thought Mia was going to get whip lash looking in each room for me. After kisses and hugs she laid on the floor next to me. Steve brought her home to check the other dogs and feed her. After all that they doctors think it was all stress related. We have had a very bad few months. So they came back to get me 8 hours later. Steve Said Mia cried grumbled talked barked and was miserable all the way home and back to the hospital. When she came to my room again we kissed hugged and she laid down beside me till we left. Mia loves me. That's it for now..
