long daily doggie- thanks to the reports

THE TEAL REPORT.. AND MY COMMENTS...
hi--
Teal did O.K. today at school.
great progress sounds like if we can just get thru another week at school they will be fine
He was a little scared going into the school due to the buses. He felt he had to always look behind him.I have noticed that about him.
lets rethink this -- there is a fact... he acted a little scared going into the school... that is a fact----
as to why,... it bothers me for you to assume what is sometimes the obvious- at the exclusion of the possible..
could be the busses-- could be his tail got pinched IN  THE SCHool door- could be the traffic monitor's waving hands and yelling at the kids surprised him
,or anybody using a whistle??
with animals do not jump to exclusions ( boy is that a true typo----  somebody remind me to use that more often.)
It seems he always needs to know what's behind him.
I think he thinks something is going to creep up behind him.
that tail pinch concept??? or a shopping cart while we were training at costo???
Anyway, he froze after wh got in the door.
dropping to the floor was teal's solution to anything which was too confusing.. that is a "GIVE ME A MINUTE TO COLLECT MY THOUGHTS.."
We got him moving again after a brief moment but he was moving fast until we got to Jocelyn's locker.
THAT IS MORE SIGNIFICANT THAN IT SEEMS-- HE WAS BETTER THEN WAS PROBABLY DUE TO "HERE STARTS A FAMILIAR SEQUENCE"
Then he was fine. I did get a call stating that there was a fire drill today. Teal got right up to exit, but he was moving pretty fast with the crowd and Jocelyn fell and let go of Teal. She said he didn't stop , but she called him and he went right back for her!!
BEAUTIFUL -- only problem is he is matching strides with the group of kids.. not jocelyn- and ends up going too fast.- she needs to do the one step  in a group of kids so he matches her-- not the group.
Teal did very well except he won't budge past the the curb.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS ABOUT
I was told that is a possible danger and it would be worked on.
DON'T LET ANYONE GO THAT ROAD...POINT OUT HE IS TAUGHT TO STOP AT CURBS--THEN POINT OUT MAYBE THERE SHOULD BE A HANDICAPPED RAMP AT THAT SPOT- put ball in other court...
I think I will ask the fire department to go back to the school with us and practice with him making sure he gets to the student meeting spot.
Hi Carlene,

Pink and I are in the hospital for 2 weeks. I'm being treated for Cystic Fibrosis related stuff and Pink Is hanging out with me. She made a seamless transition - seems like a happy girl as long as we are together. My doctors are thrilled because I am getting exercise walking Pink around the campus (very important with CF). I also ran into a physical therapist who worked with me after my brain surgery. As Pink and I walked by she said, "Hey, didn't you used to have a balance disoder?". That says it all!

468 pounds of stuff is enroute to  sdp from farmtek ( walls, etc for the new building)  and we need a piece in the puppy pen in the barn..
it will be a "tailgate delivery"  and i do not know when-- nothing is fragile so i may just have to drag it off the tailgate and let it fall.

a quick funeraL report- i have to admit our family group ran a perfect " celebration of passing" -- from tom's car out front with his golf bag next to it... to great pictures and doctor type memorabilia draped around the rooms.  over 200 people drifted by the line  -- they fell into groups  medical-- motorcycle-- childhood friends..horse racing-- and service dog volunteers.. plus stanley and lindsay for dogs....
because apparently no food or drink can be served in funeral homes in Massachusetts, many fell in to the group around the SDP coa van in the parking lot -- where drinks etc were served by my texas relatives. ...
my thanks to all who stopped by
