i am assuming anyone reading this is familiar with a bunch of background info-- like we are trying to make puppies with mariah and have had some interesting complications with which to deal.
mariah-- 18 minute tie... with grommet. what can i say??? either the entire thing is way out of sequence... or 3 weeks ago someone doing the "TP" test blotted a surface wound from the opal fight and mistaked the blood for teh exudate indicating a heat cycle.-- and during/after that she did not "flag" or stand still
which she is doing now... my problem now is the drip is still very red.... abd the book says "salmon colored" ahd her "attendee" is grommet who is only 10 minths old--- so ??? is he shotting blanks???? at any rate we will try walter ( grommets dad) today also... i really don't care who gets her "with pup" for future lining up of bloodlines, it might be better for walter, but i am not willing to take a chance on his aim.
fact remains i have not had a successful AI.. and i have not had a natural breeding fail.. grommet certainly went thru all the proper motions yesterday so ... i checked with george and he said he doubted they were blanks... so maybe...

a camera person ---sue from calif....-- was here all yesterday- and i think i passed her in the driveway once.. so she is busy. she said she thought she missed.t i told her it was probably going to be goin gon for days...

ryan got the rest of the building rafteres up- nearly by himself, using the teepee method...
we are minus one section -- which they ahve shipped as of yesterday.
we have plenty to do in the meantime... like get some cables in and tightened to firm it up.
and the rachetts...

how much weight has bentley gained???? his service dog harness is too tight... last time i used it he visably relaxed when i took it off...
so jacky got me another... it has 2 girths and both ahve extendersw on them
however..... to use it i had to put both extenders on one girth and let the other swing in the breezes
i was in ccostco- where i practice with their electric wheelchair- bentley is never more than 1 foot from me... but i was not holding his leash.. which dangled.. a woman came up and told me i must have him on a leash--- so i grabbed the 18 rope ( leash) and she said she felt much better if i had hold of him...
i could not keep it back... i had to say, "if i can't control him with my voice, this leash is not going to help.. he weighs 160 pounds"
at which point she deccided he was dangerous... so i asked him to lie down while she talked... she left very confused.
and then i had teh phone call problem...couple cp's yesterday were too quick to decide to call me with what was percieved to be a problem..
i was asleep but i think the call was wanda running around the arena late at night... that is not a real problem - if wanda had "broken out" of a kennel, she would just find somewhere to be comfortabel for the night..... what they coudnot see was janine was down there riding her horse...
wanda and oliver will be here today+++ because janine is on her way to ride a bike 120 miles in one day in washington dc.... i dunno why...
it is like mt everest... it is there.
