THIS HAS BEEN A DREAM OF MINE... DIAMONDS MAY BE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND--- BUT A DOG THAT PEES ETC... ON A PEE PAD-- AND KNOWS WHY THEY ARE DOING THAT ... IS A DREAM OF MINE.
JUST THINK OF THE RAMIFICATIONS OF BEING IN A HOTEL AT 2AM AND HAVING TH E DOG "USE" THE REST ROOM... OR AN AIRPORT-- OR A DOG WITH A PROBLEM SAY "I HAVE TO GO NOW" ( I KNOW ALL ABOUT THAT AT THE MOMENT)
I HAVE HEARD SEVERAL PEOPLE AT THE ADI CONFERENCE TELL OF HOW THEIIR SERVICE DOGS DO THAT-- AND THEY JUST "FLUSH THE SOLIDS" IF NEEDED.
THE WORMS AND BACTERIA OF THE WORLD WOULD BE DELIGHTED WITH THE WHOLE NEW DIET.

Good morning.. rogue is doing great. Adjusting great! She over comes things that are uncertain to her quickly so far. She still doesn't really like water that moves like from the hose or bath tub faucet. I used to let annie drink from the faucet in restrooms when we were out shopping because annie loved fresh water and would stand there drinking from the hose. But rogue doesn't like it .. that's ok I have a travel water bowl. Interesting getting to know rogue and her little fears but mostly she overcomes really quick.she is a wonderful dog!
She did really well shopping. I kept the kids in the shopping cart and they are not allowed to touch her while in stores. And they did good about it and told everyone they can't touch rogue while she is working! So far no issues that I have not been able to help her through. Communication is getting better and she let's me know what she needs.. she nudges me with her nose alot.
I realized john won't be home until thursday. Is it okay if I come Thursday without the kids to the farm instead of tuesday? I really prefer not to bring the kids with me. If I bring the kids I would be so focused of them and not on training. Please let me know if Thursday will be ok. If not I can come tomorrow with the kids.
I know you wanted to start with the responding to the door bell soon. Not sure when u wanted to practice with her or maybe show me what to do. I can't hear the bell. I was thinking to try to teach her but not sure how if I can't hear it. Oh I just had an idea.. wonder if I put a door bell sound on my cell phone and every once in a while I push it and if she comes to give her a treat right away? Wonder if that would work. She comes when I whistle. Just to apply that to the bell.. should I try ? Let me know your thoughts. Also let me know if Thursday is okay to come instead of Tuesday because I really not want to bring the kids while training.
