JAN 1 2014
MY WISH FOR 2014 IS THAT ALL THESE VOLUNTEERS CONTINUE TO HAVE THE MOXIE TO COME
HERE AND TAKE CARE OF ALL THESE SDP ANIMALS-- LIKE GRACE WHO MANAGED TO GET ARIOT SETTLED AND ALL THE PUPS FED---- I USED TO BE ABLE TO DO IT MYSELF-- BUT
NO WAY-- SDP GOT BIGGER AND I GOT OLDER.....AND LARGER I AM SORRY TO SAY... COULD BE MY HUSBAND WAS CORRECT -" LOOSE 20 POUNDS AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM" ( WHATEVER IT WAS) THE ONLY REASON I MENTION MY WEIGHT IS THAT BEFOE I WENT TO BED LAST NIGHT--- I DON 'T KNOW WHY ----I GOT ON THE SCALE AND IT READ 2014-- WHICH I TOOK AS A SIGN OF SOMETHING ....OF COURSE IT IS A SIGN THAT IN 2013 I ATE TOO MANY KLONDIKE BARS---
************
THE MAIL CALL LAST NIGHT WAS SPECTACULAR-- SHELIA WAS GOOD BUT OPAL WAS FANTASTIC-- SHE SAT WITH ALL THE PERFECT HEAD MOVEMENTS AND EYE CONTACT AS A CUSTOMER IN "CARLENE'S DINER" WITH TRACY AS THE WAITRESS.
THUS LINING UP MY FIRST DECLARATION OF 2014... YOU MAY FORGET WHO MADE YOU CRY-- BUT YOU NEVER FORGET SOMEONE WHO MADE YOU REALLY LAUGH.
HERE'S TO MORE GREAT LAUGHS IN 2014.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE ALL THE VIDEO'S OF MAILCALL-- GO TO OUR WEB-- THEN THE LAST ON THE RIGHT IS PHOTO'S DOWN THERE IS LINKS AND INFORMATION-- AND WANDER FURTHER AND THERE IS A LIST OF MAILCALL VIDEOS WHICH IS MAGICALLY MAINTAINED BY CP'S
***************
I WAS THRILLED WITH ALL THE MAIL CALL PACKAGES-- BUT MOST SPECIFICALLY THE COCKTAQIL STRAWS-- WITH WHICH I STIR MY MORNING COFFEE BY BLOWING BUBBLES...
IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS...
**********
NOW IT IS ABOUT PRAYING FOR ONE OF THE GALS TO COME IN HEAT...--- IF WE DON'T HAVE ONE COME IN SOON -- TO DELIVER PUPS IN 63 DAYS--- WE MAY HAVE TO HAVE 2 AT ONCE WHICH HAS BEEN DONE--- AND MAY BE HOW MOMMY NATURE IS INTENDING US TO HAVE... BUT I WOULD PREFER ONE LITTER AT A TIME...
MOST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IS THE 3 LITTERS CAUSED BY THE USDA INSISTING I PUT UP A FENCE THAT WOULD NOT CONTAIN AN AMOROUS BELGIAN LOVER-- WHO JUMPED THAT FOOL FENC AND BRED 3 FEMALES BEFORE WE NOTICED HE WAS NOT IN HIS PASTURE- THAT GAVE US 23 LOVELY DANE PUPS---ALL IN THE SAME 48 HOURS ----AND WAS KIND OF THE START OF SDP--- WHEN YOU HAVE TOO M ANY LEMONS, MAKE LEMONAIDE. ( I THINK JANINE PUT THAT STORY IN TH EBOOK..)
****************
MY HEAVENS GRACE IS GRINDING FOOD AGAIN.... SHE JUST FED THEM 4 MINUTES AGO IT SEEMS...-- PLUS THEY ARE EATIG ABOUT A CUP EACH--- JUST THINK ABOUT SIZE/QUANTITY PUT ONE CUP OF STUFF IN THOSE TINY PUPS-- NO WONDER THE BULDGE-- AND POO PRODUCTION...
AT SOME POINT THEWY HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO GAIN A POUND A DAY... I THINK WE SHOULD CHECK THEM -- TODAY MIGHT BE THE DAY...
-**********
MY OTHER PRAYER FOR 2014 IS MORE CUT AND PASTES TO BAIL ME OUT OF DD PRODUCTION...
HERE IS THE LATEST-- AND I WILL GO HELP GRACE.....

I would like to give you an update on ginger and Ken . This experience has been
amazing. Ken heard about the Service dog Project from the Northampton MA VA
Hospital. He has been receiving services there since he completed the wounded
warriors program. Ken has serviced 5 tours and recently retired from the Amy
after serving 24 years. Ken was medically discharged. He has several rods and
screws in his neck. As well he suffers severe PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks and
several other issues. Ken and I (his girlfriend/caretaker) heard about the
Service Dog Project and we decided to take a trip and visit the facility. From
the first time we went on a visit it was amazing how calm and relaxed Ken was
with the dogs/puppies. Ken as well that day had the experience of having an
adult Great Dane lean on him, that again was an experience of feeling much
comfort. Ken and Ginger have been placed together for the past three weeks.
This has been a process with many emotions and feelings. However in general
this has been an amazing experience. Ginger is a fantastic animal and has been
able to bond with Ken and they each are learning from one another. This is only
the beginning of the process however there has been much progress and comfort
for both. Ginger is being seen at the VA clinic several times a week and will
continue this exposure. I/We wanted to thank you for all the Service Dog
Project does and we will come by and visit the facility soon.
