i will learn the new explore system
i will... i will..
especially if that 8 year old kid comes here today to explain
it to me.
the problem with being old,... well one of them... if i have
lost whatever short term memory i had....
so faced with a new system i do what i think is logically
correct---
when that does not work, i sit back and think what i would
logically do
and i try that
unfortunately it is very often the thing i already tried-- but
having no memory i keep doing the same thing over and over.
i can not imaging how this is the slightest bit interesting..
except for those trying the same thing..
i try a new sign in name and password.. then i do something
wrong which causes me to have to start again.. so i enter my name and password
and i get "sorry that name is taken" which is me-- and the program is not
set up to deal with that situation-- therefore that entire system is now out of
my realm of possibility.
but i will try again today.
i was very hopeful-- courtney sent me a bulletted list of
one liners-- and i
hopefully printed it out the 4 pages thinking those were
instructions.
. no-- THA WAS ACTUALLY AN INDEX OF topics to click on and
each one is a 6 page tirade.

that new system is by far the biggest and most time consuming
project of the day.

the other news?
jim the beef guy came in and we discussed the on coming warm
weather when our current system of coolers and freezers will not
work
it boils down to setting up a system of grinding beef on
Sunday morning.. last week we had a great team -- jack and ?? steve?? it
took them less than 2 hours to do 20 boxes.. - we need to perfect that team and
see if we can get them weekly.
jim can deliver it semi thawed too.. so it gets to be a
science of freezers, coolers, moving blankets and ambient
tempature,.

for those coming today for Sunday stew-- we will be in
the t-tent today - which is surrounded by a moat of muddy water -- so hip
boots are recommended.
we even have THE POT-- CLEANED AND
READY TO GO...SO IT MAY BE OUR FIRST PROPER STEW OF THE
SUMMER.
