 Dd. 5 17

I did fall for Lowe's survey with a reward of a full set of tools for 9:49 shipping and I filled out all their details and my credit card and they came back with the fact my credit card has been used before to get tools and that is not true um so in other words this is just one more screw up I thought that 949 was a hell of a bargain for all those tools especially since my collection of Milwaukee with the red cases is missing I figured I'd get a new set with this bunch but they just said ohh no sorry etcetera which I I I I think I'll go to Lowe's I think that might be fun to stand down there and say I'm here for my tool set and see what happens it's one of those things where I have time and publicity there were a hell of a lot of tools for 9:49. I could use those umm. and me

I hope everyone will give some support to Dee. with her broken leg.. she has been very supportive of us for a long time so let's everyone cheer her on. Dada1970@windstream.net.

I don't know how it got to be Sunday so quick but I think that Randy will be here to work on the desk which we now have measured and it will fit where I do want to put it which is always a plus... and it's almost time to start moving the big stove pieces down to the apartment. This is gwen's last day she leaves tomorrow they have an offer in on a house in Glens Falls NY I think so they now own 2 houses also having not sold the other one yet Ron is a heck of a Carpenter well I'm sure their house in the Carolinas is absolutely beautiful...  but the problem now is Asheville has not quite put itself back together yet next..

Don't do that no no that's stupid. that is penny who has discovered that if you pull 1 Kleenex out-of-the-box another one kind of pops up so we've gone through a box of Kleenex now along with a roll of toilet paper what I should do is try and get the yuppie puppy out of building 25 and set that up for her to use there might be some conflict with larkey who also knows how to use it but I think I'm tired of entertaining penny when she could entertain herself with that gumball machine.

i dont know why  it shortened

THIS MAY AS WELL BE THE DD. !!!--
I HAD TO LIST THE BUILDINGS FOR THE INSURANCE PEOPLE... SO HERE YOU HAVE IT !!
Sat, May 17 at 5:08 AM

It would probably be helpful if you learn looked at the Google sky view of goldy farm-let  LET me take it building by building.

the house Boyne falls log home built in 1979 3 bedrooms 2 baths wonderfully accommodating to my dog project over the years.

there is a doghouse on either side of the main house---- the nuthouse as it's called was built on a slab I had tipping slightly so I could run water in one corner and have it run out the far corner.. the other dog house the deagle house was more normal both of them would accommodate 5 at least great Danes in  heated and air conditioned comfort I was always concerned about losing heat in the barn so I built those two as an emergency solution. With doors only 4’ tall they are DOG HOUSES- you can STAND UP STRAIGHT ONCE IN THEM...

the property is basically 2 lots #37 and #45 the house is on #37 as is the what we call the guesthouse which is a cabin with minimum accommodations

then on to #45. the ice tea tent..  billT from a tree that was cut to accommodate the stable and I had a portable sawmill come and make lumber out of it which then was stacked and dried for a while before I nailed it together into this ice T10 which basically is a roof with no walls. it has electricity and a fireplace and picnic tables.  to that I attached what became called the G TENTwhich is a 30 by 40 area covered with hoops and white

covering.

just past that we have the shipping containerwith a floor done in stainless steel you keep the rats out of dog food.  it now has many of the objects I had to store when I moved from the guesthouse to the laundry.

the laundry building had  that  laundry  in the first floor- we call the second floor of the training room which became an official apartment-not fancy just an apartment

the ICU building was built to accommodate the U.S. Department of agriculture when they began to make demands of people keeping dogs in a kennel situation they wanted no wood and everything's epoxied and washable so with difficulty that's what that building is 4 kennels add room for one office.

then the small yellow building is my tool shed..

then the barn WAs made-up 1979.  of the stable which is 35 feet by 75 feet  attached to the indoor arena which  was 60 by 100. and is now 60 by 80 feet.   the original indoor arena was 60 by 100 but that roof collapsed in some Blizzard 30+
years ago and I replaced it with the metal and material instead of wood. Out the back door of the arena is what we call Tanners building.. which was basically just a project for some. kid who needed a project.

structurally it leaves a lot to be desired but it serves the purpose as a run in shed.  It also contains one post of the original 60 by 100 wood structure so technically it was a remodeling.

I have always allowed people to come on the property to enjoy the animals and even when I gave up actually training service dogs -  one of my dogs was  number one service dog of the country by the AKC in 2015

We now take my dogs and several other animals to various nursing homes and daycare centers and I don't charge for it. last year 7999 people met my dogs and fed them treats.

We now in 2025 go to 3 or 4 nursing homes a week and try and see 100 people a week. These places are crying for entertainment so far the general public is supporting us and our gas bill for the car and dog food for the dogs. Goldie's farm is a 501C3 charity.

I am now living in the only wheelchair accessible place on the property which is the bottom of the laundry building..  basically I have allowed people to live here to keep
me warm dry fed and out of the nursing homes.
So far so good.

After 40 plus years a moving onto into and around 37 boxford Rd. I may actually have landed in this one room apartment on the first floor and one room is really about all I can cope with I'm thoroughly enjoying it.  And I'm enjoying not having to worry about who was going to sand the icy steps.

However in the process there's 47 years of paraphernalia which is only slightly removed from my one room apartment like what's frequently called building 25 which is basically the size of like one car garage and it is filled to the door of 47 years  ohh paraphernalia yet to be dealt with;.

thankfully I do have help coping with my father's desk which has been sitting out in the weather for about a year Having been moved from the house to the cabin and then from the cabin to what is called the giraffe tent or G tent   turns out Randy. of Donna and Randy fame is an accomplished woodworker who had said he would start on that desk on 5 15 and by golly he did-- in the 40 plus years that I have been here with many volunteers helping move me in and around the place Donna and Randy are only the second couple I have seen who can work at a complicated project without bickering the first couple would be the couple from Ohio who helped put the pieces of the G tent together (where where eft--what what what what what what what what what what wow****dogs barking****

With heavy desk which was once my father's has now been shifted from the outside perimeter to a more centrally located project still in G10,,, but the desks drawers one of which don't forget contains Goldy Have been brought round and emptied into various plastic containers because they still contained what was in them when I was in three houses ago

Hey mind your manners--to the dogs----

With a great deal of enthusiasm I asked Elizabeth to get me a large trash can thinking I was going to throw everything out but as I went through it piece by piece I barely covered the bottom of the trash can so I can see this is going to be a problem and I haven't even got to the big move which was from house to cabin in building 25 we're the only thing that's in there that I know of ohh my beautiful  cowboy boots. made by lukasey of Texas,

my 700 LB wood cooking stove is 1 move behind me it needs to be shifted from the cabin to my one room... and it will take up a good portion of my one room but it is a very interesting and useful piece of furniture even if I never hook it up to a chimney which I should be able to do but that next may get

nixed by the younger generation in the mean time there are all parts of it that can be used for storage and it is beautiful.

You know you are getting old when letters from Planned Parenthood pertain to estate planning

now that defines  getting old pretty well.

Don't tell me I'm actually on wow what happened yesterday and now today is it tells me I'm offline and I go up to look at the available things in the triangle and this bridge thing is not there the first time the second time I go look at it the bridge thing is there and I can click on it and it is live and I'm now connected but if I don't catch it that second time by the time I the third time I'm looking over my list of available website it's gone but apparently it's there right now I don't believe it also Elizabeth on her way back from delivering a child in school so she can come and we discuss it

I have to give a big Gold Star to Judy because Janine emailed from Paris that in the process of trying to write this grant she needed a certain piece of paper well actually a certain letter from the IRS telling us how beautiful we were and I couldn't find it on my machine but Judy had taken a picture of it and could send it to both Janine and I I can't believe then tossing around that photo solved the problem.  Julie is pretty quick with that camera alright it should say phone she remembered taking a picture of the letter back when something else happened that she also photographed and she remembered all that so the whole concept is beyond me and I just plaln can't do it

Another Gold Star or two of them go to Randy and Donna=== turns out Randy is a very accomplished woodworker and has offered to work on my father's desk and I must say watching them move that desk into a workable position took a lot of thought and knowledge and they did it with the least possible confusion after which Donna and I emptied each of the desk drawers which still contain whatever and don't forget one of those drawers is the source of Goldie the ghost of the left hand drawer so treat it with respect.  Aside from the ghost being in that top left hand drawer the rest of the drawers were full of typical desk type stuff like the supply of staples and a staple gun whole bunch of pens. And tapes. and the clips.  along with my what advertiser list of some 4500 small variety stores around Boston and there was a handful of my job slips I guess you'd call it where I took the number of person who called and what animal they wanted and what they wanted the animal to do and when was the shot and where it was and all that sort of thing I have about four inches of those slips I know full well that there's two shoe boxes full of those slips unless they've been thrown out somewhere

So with Great Expectations I asked Elizabeth to get me a big trash can expecting to throw out all this stuff but that didn't happen because if the desk ever gets going again I'll put all those desk clips and tape and all that stuff back in the desk it's sort of needed paraphernalia

There is a job this morning I think it's somewhere in Wakefield and I don't think I have been there before but any time we go near Wakefield we have to be sure the job lasts at least until 11:00 because that's when that terrific ice cream store opens I'm gonna try and get Judy and Jake to do it Woo woo woo woo ohh ohh now  stop. That's this machine interpretation of dogs barking because Elizabeth's here what

 Dd 5 14

The twists and turns a daily living Can be comical -- Like this machine trying to translate 4 dogs barking into generic English. Or me talking to the dogs.. Ohh what what have you got now no no this is no no no no no penny had discovered little box of Kleenex where you get a new Kleenex every time you pull one out...   We have already been through unrolling A roll of toilet paper and now she's on the K

kleenex.

Well while I'm on the topic of paper products I did order a carton ohh paper towels online because I was able to distinguish the size towel I wanted and I wanted the half size ones which I find quite useful

I don't know if you all are aware of the two different sizes of paper towels but they come in two sizes now... and to continue my discussion I find that using one piece of paper towel as a thing to wash dishes.. And throwing it away there's a way to eliminate what the myth Busters call the dirtiest item in the household which is a sponge on the kitchen sink.... having pre soaked stuff in dawn to begin with it does wipe  really easy with a half sized towel ---

The similar topic of saving trees would be next except I think we have to get rid of some trees we are surrounded by trees about 24 inches in diameter and taller than I can figure out..  most are absolutely straight and when you look at it from my insurer standpoint very threatening to my house.. so we have to consider taking some of them down... Drive around I’ve begun to notice  homes that have an area around them cleared of these monster trees.. the tree that fell and did the damage to our house was not even an entire tree but one of those forked, if we start eliminating some of the trees which threaten our house we will be in the lumber business very quickly//when we built the place originally we did cut down several monster trees and I did find a person who had a portable sawmill and he came up and cut many trees into usable lumber like the lumber I used to build the iced tea tent.... I really don't want to get in the lumber business but it was fascinating to watch and the pieces of lumber piled up with little spacers between them so they could dry and I used that lumber not only to build the ice tea tent ---but there was a sawmill up the river where we got sawdust for the stall and I could take this lumber and have it planned to normal size  over half an inch less ---  a store bought. 2 by 4. is actually 1 1/2 by 3 ½..  ----which gets complicated when I just took my usual box of nails and started nailing these together because the nails were made for the 1 1/2 by 3 1/2 and if I was using the rough sawn actual 2 by 4 I had a couple places where the nails did not hold as expected.. that's probably what you learn when you go to carpenters school... however that building it's still standing strong after maybe 25 years.. I did run around an add a nail or two in places that looked ominous...

we are in the awkward position of our insurance company not liking our trees

Elizabeth was a genius and fixed the Internet problem it has to be something about flipping a switch in another building--- one of these days I'll have to figure that out

. Today is Oceanside nursing home in Rockport although maybe it's Gloucester they run into each other. stay there. we have a request to do a country fair situation in Gloucester basically for the elderly if you will and we could we could do it but I'm thinking if if this is going to be an all day deal how am I going to get somebody to volunteer take a whole bunch of animals and be a yes country fair situation umm and and and Gloucester Rockport are almost an hour away. I'm really hoping that Mister Cummings can help us out with this kind of project because it's very labor intensive and free labor is hard to find paid labor is hard to find also...

As a matter of fact a lot of people I know have some international connection certainly the the rehab center that I was in was nearly 100% foreign born because although they lived here and had a I ohhfew children they did have a very complicated international with the current with situation.

I know a lot of people  are very concerned--in places you never thought would be a problem our are rushing to get paperwork updated and things like that simple things like Elizabeth daughter going to Canada with her school there was a major effort to make sure that she could get back in to the United states and a teacher was all prepped to spend 3 hours with her at the border to get her back home. another interesting number I've heard is 300 people were exported from Peabody which is the next town. And I hear words like passport an embassy which I don't think I've ever heard before in normal conversation.

And I know very well that the farmer down the road marines which has super corn imports one plane load of people to help him farm his place And then sends them home again--and I don't know how that's going to be affected.

I'm really bugging out of today's job hey I'm going to try and get a few things done here in the apartment.... like extension cords and bank accounts

I was a little shocked to hear that Gwen knew I was here because she could see me asleep in my chair I'm not sure I'm too comfortable with that idea but I'll think about it

Dd 5 12

Granted I haven't checked the exact details but it seems to me that there there is a disproportionate number of US presidents raised by single moms. or is that just a current phenomena.. And there were quite a few also runs who didn't win the presidency but were still in the final stretch--there's a good assignment for somebody out there..

Now for one more political comment and it's purely visual when they take a photograph of Congress either side if you just look for the percentage of representatives that are wearing something besides a dark suit and tie---there was one lovely day when all the women wore white which was a visual demonstration as to why some of the laws are the way they are. all those men we'll never pass laws on

Man until there is a Lower percentage ohh business suits... just an observation.

Judy has just arrived and is getting the dogs fed behind me this is a very noisy episode ordinarily I would not know the schedule of the day for another hour anyway except today our extremely efficient record keeper. Linda has given me a list of what is probably going to happen this week and today we have the day off and we better get to the bank quick before extreme disasters happen..

Now since this is so short everybody should go out and read ....if... by Kipling OK

also.... anyone coming in here should check my pill box to be sure i am current

looks pretty generic to me

but apparently it didn't meet the qualifications for the equines here. there's not only a waste of the hay but having so much hay in the manure pile reduces the percentage of manure which makes for a manure pile that is light tan in color instead of the rich black topsoil looking stuff.. where usually people will pay to buy manure pile... it has to be dark black. I will have to end up paying someone to remove a manure pile that is not dark black so this is hey that costs us twice.

Finally the rain has stopped I have had a terrible time sitting in my apartment looking out at the puddles in the in the yard which run into one another and finally into the pond but I really wanted to get out there and make those rivers better by scratching out some of the barriers so they would flow better but I was afraid with this new camera as someone would e-mail Janine and say your mother's really gone crazy she's out playing in the puddles.  I like Making rivers out of puddles.... But now with that new camera I'm supposed to stop and think “how does that look?’ because an awful lot of what I think is normal the rest of the world might see it as mentally deranged.... like. stringing an electric wire across a door..

I had to do that once when Janine and her 3 or 4 year old child Colby were living in what was also called the guesthouse.  Now---- colby's other grandparents we're not aware of the intricacies of the crazy acres and they reported to the department of child welfare that I'd struck an electric wire they reported to keep my child out of the building,  this was by no means the case this was to keep Mary out... and Mary at that point was about 750 lbs of mammoth donkey who had developed the scale of opening doors among other things. so when the department of child welfare car arrived with carefully one man and one woman to observe this electric bit their questions were quickly answered when Mary stuck her head in the passenger window and flipped open the glove compartment.  That may very innocent behavior of maries scare the bejesus out of that child welfare woman..

Mary eventually spent her entire time loose in the yard and she totally respected and understood the perimeter fence We're the only opening in the perimeter fence was the electric gate for the driveway.

this is not true now because some of the perimeter fence has been removed==

ddamnitn. why does it do that. now i have to copy andn paste again

Dd 5  10

I get out of bed and I'm scared of the computer Do I dare even try it... However apparently according to Elizabeth last night we have too much going on basically the Internet comes into the main house and from there it's wirelessly sent to where I am in the laundry building and other places on the property apparently we're just stretching it's capabilities now at the amount of money I pay Verizon I would think they could stand to be stretched however here we go

the part you may have Was the visit from the family from Texas who spent sometime help with chores had a grand time---make that Houston TX.. I love to have people come here and I hope as spring and summer evolve more of you will do that we don't have the overnight space that we once had but we're working on it heaven knows we've got plenty of places to park any RV's and things like that.

My excitement to report is 1 largely infected toe nail... I can remember my husband going to a podiatrist to have his toenails cut I never went to that extreme and just bought better Clippers with this one toenail got to be a bit much so I asked my General practitioner who immediately referred me to a podiatrist... so I looked all that up online and found one in Middleton when I called to make the appointment the receptionist was a little bit odd and lectured me on being on time and how they expected Need to have any paperwork required... she was a little bit heavy duty so when Judy and I got there I decided I really had to take my service dog and with me which I then did and he behaved perfectly but from the moment we got in the door I could see the two secretaries were absolutely terrified Of having that dog in their office.... though both of them later admitted to having dogs themselves they just could not except the fact that marlkie  had every right to be there so they got the called himself doctor but not an MD he came out and explained in great detail how they couldn't possibly have a dog in the room with his instruments and it was very small room anyway and he just he just he just could not cope with the whole idea of having that dog in that room and so I said well then I have to go so he gave me a list of people to whom he referred and one was a woman from Ipswich so I got home and called her and yet she'd come at 2:00 or whatever and she did just that and she spent all of about 5 minutes trimming back what I had already cut for her house call fee of  110$ she offered to set the next appointment for me in three months  and I said no I'd be in touch if I needed any more help.  If I have any problem in the future I'll just ask the blacksmith it would be cheaper!

Janine is probably in France by now and expects to be there for 10 days...  it's going to be a rough 10 days around here because she does an awful lot of the work---and since I do none---that leaves a bunch of volunteers and staff to carry a pretty heavy load of a bunch of animals.

I will now brave the storm and hit the send button and see if I get OK sent or this computer is offline

I'm never too sure what's going to happen.

 Dd  5  8

I think my basic problem at the moment is Janine will be gone for 10 days and I know very well I can't do all the things she's been doing starting with the basic problem of knowing who is who ---one of your camera people did come up with the official name of someone who does not recognize facial expressions or whatever and I certainly have that because I can only think of about 5 women that I could recognize out of a crowd and there should be no significance in being either included or excluded but I would recognize Elizabeth she lives here and. talks funny and Judy who organized things but cannot be trusted with N SE and West after that there is thes maybe I'd recognize them ---Donna who brings me food and ice cream Michelle  who’s  living in the guesthouse---betsy of jewelry and monkey fist fame then the men- I probably would recognize Brian  our large animal veterinarian but after that I would recognize bud  who has been here 14+ years...in his farm outfit but cleaned up in city clothes I'm not so sure ----then all the animals she's leaving  including several brown horses some broke some not broke then there are too Mini.  horses one does stairs and elevators the other one does not and then there's the generic Gray donkey of which we have several very pleasant nice to handle etcetera except for one who's the mean son of a gun--we should cut a chunk out of his main so we don't make the mistake of having some kid try and handle him... and then there's Arthur he may look like Mary but he has a long way to go to try and figure out if people are friendly or not/

and then there's the fencing.  there is a whole lot of fencing that was and is now gone and I'm not familiar with it--we once had a perimeter fence at least 5 foot tall Arthur's told me that it's not there anymore and I don't really know where it is and is not... these kind of questions are critical when Janine isn't here to just solve them =------used to be I knew what was going on now I really don't have a clue.   Like is there a 10 days worth of hay in the hay loft ??I don't know    there are so many details Janine just took care of so I no longer am even familiar with the parts of any problem ---like did the gate get left open or was there no gate there in the first place

There was just a massive argument in the arena basically involving the mini donkeys and horses and I got there just in time to see all of them run out except for one donkey who laid down and rolled and

way off to the side just peering around the corner  was the one white goat. As I sit here and type they are all tiptoeing back in but that one donkey I'm sure is the mean one has staked his claim over the full full hay bag

Time we found a home for that mean donkey he would be perfect guarding a herd of sheep so let's get on that project ---he's tough

Wednesday, May 7, 2025

I knew I had done  5 5 but somehow it did not get sent...so here is 2 at once !!

Dd 5 5

For excitement yesterday we had Arthur's on the wrong side of the fence and we immediately thought they were over at partridgeberry place and everybody began to scramble except for me I can't do that anymore and nobody could find him and eventually nick came in and said he was on the wrong side of the fence in the arena which was a whole new ball game we like to stay on the good side of Park Ridge. Place people and Elizabeth came in and said that there were footprints all over the place over there so we've got loose and went where I really don't know the sum and substance is they're all back here now Used to be

Used to be. somewhere in my history the Department of Agriculture came here and insisted that I have a 5 foot perimeter fence around the whole property Before I could do any more commercials or movies or anything it was a very difficult Simon but we did it however apparently  some people who shall remain nameless   took out some of the fence  so that becomes a priority. to figure out exactly where Arthur he's getting out and see if we can find some of the fencing and put it back that's one thing and those polls will be hard to locate thanks to China the six foot red top twisted wire fencing you're the only thing that lasts   .  ...

So last night I Left the TV the arena camera to try and figure out some of the noises that I hear One of the most alarming it has to be new medical helicopter flying from Anna Jakes hospital into mass general but after that I cannot figure out what some of these noises are Unless the Cam as a microphone located somewhere of the donkeys epiglottis With all the weird gurgling

Aside from the girgling one donkey did get cast That is he rolled over and ended up with his feet up against the wall so he couldn't at least he had trouble getting his seat back underneath h i if this happens to a horse they can be very serious and they have died in this position donkeys are a little more clever and this one did get undone but then there was the choking.  one donkey. start coughing. which is nothing new unless like continueo coughw which he did meaning that he possibly had something stuck in his throat this can be called choke And requires vet  in the past the tube up their nose and down their throat trying to dislodge whatever is stuck there we've seen doctor Pol  do that many times.

*************

DD 5  6. WHY?? DON’T ASK !!

Things happen so fast around here that usually it's a computer problem that I don't send it out but it also could be in this case I had to get ready all of a sudden to go on a job and since there were complications like Michelle had not returned all my laundry in her case... and Janine had taken a bag full to do at olafs since he was gone.. consequently I had no clothes no towels and things like that that could have caused me to hit the wrong button although to be minus all three places where I post this thing is unlikely..  I can see getting one wrong but to get all three misdirected that's not as probable but not impossible

From doing mail call with nick the other night he told me there are two doors to the deagle house which is the the red dog house which would house 5 great Danes with in and out plus heat and air conditioning accept two people from service dog project totally gutted the whole thing leaving pieces all over the place..  However mine is not the question why and just keep bashing on forward.. We have a very honest program going by entertaining people in daycare and nursing homes... and the staff of those people.  having now been in rehab center for several months I can personally say there is a huge void In the mental aspect of living in one of these places..   bingo at 2:00 goes just so far...  there is not much to think about for months..  so to have our dogs come in and make everybody smile at least for a few hours is a huge success for the whole program.  specifically with staff..  they are a bit worn thin especially the person who's supposed to be in charge of activities..  they have the goal of filling in all the little boxes for each day of the month with something that at least sounds like it's going to be entertaining but in fact goes a little dry To arrive with four dogs and have everyone have a chance to feed them out of the frying pan doesn't sound like much but it is a huge bonus for the people who have to work in these places.

Speaking of staff in the last week we have been to two places in Haverhill MA and both of which have someone who also worked in the rehab center that I was in in Danvers.. so it was like old home week....

Let's face it there is an awful lot of this the medical insurance as applied to rehab that I do not understand.

The way it goes apparently is 3 days in the hospital gets you 100 days in rehab which gives you absolutely nothing for six months which is the period in which I find myself -----if I should fall and require an ambulance and hospitalization I'm apparently not covered for six months ..  I don't think that's anything new because I seem to remember this kind of thing with my husband's practice.. I do remember something about having to put a patient back in the hospital for three days. The three days rings a bell.   But it didn't make sense then and it doesn't make sense now...   But that's all up to somebody else I am only interested in Giving these people something else to think about as they are all behind locked doors.

 dd 5 4

Dd. 5 4

I have always loved the old singer sewing machine treadle machines sometimes even if they didn't have a machine on top and just the treadle part it's so well designed that I've always dreamed of putting together some sort of mechanical something run by that treble however seeing as I haven't even started the project it's probably not going to go too far... That along with the concept ohh hooking it to some kind of generator and marketing that in that situation if your kids going to watch television they've got a pedal fast enough to get the electricity going somehow I think that would be a very valuable thing like charging the phone ohh there's electricity bit is not free it costs the environment..  I look at all these come get fit here places with a long row of  pedal bikes not going anywhere. and think that could be Creating. electricity    no??

Meanwhile my treadle base is holding up spools ohh rope just waiting to be tackled...   a long time ago somebody showed me how to make a bowl out of rope and I did it and it was very nice looking however I've never been able to make another one. One thing that was slowing me up was I ordered a new spool of quarter inch cotton along with 3 spools ohh string to make the monkey fist and I remember opening it at mail ca ohh stuffll never to be seen again see you guys I got hard pressed for monkey fists for both Sam and Betsy I ordered some more that too disappeared.. as the stuff off and does around here however I have found out where it's going to what was called 9 and 10 is now just full of stuff just plain stuff---and I did locate one of my spools of quarter inch so today I'll make it a point to go back and see if I can find the second missing spool...

Long long ago kennel 9 and 10 was my work area for repairing stuff keeping my tools that's before there even was a tool shed--now there is a one car garage size tool shed painted yellow which apparently is an offensive color for the current redecoration..

that tool shed was once rons place my son-in-law..  I don't know how he got a race car must have bought it somehow but he took it all apart right down to the pipes and then put it all back together again and we had originally built that building for him... the interesting part of it is it was early in the game of building things and we didn't know an awful lot so we ordered more cement than we needed only to find out that we had to take it---- when you order 4 yards of cement you're going to get 4 yards of cement whether it's dumped in your yard or place where you want it so that building has about 18 inches of concrete for foundation. I'm not the only one to have done this ---that comedian that writes for the Miami newspapers. Dave barry  has the same problem and therefore he has a free form concrete lump in his front yard .

I have been more careful since...

Today's TV is pushing everybody take a deep breath they are suggesting it just for health reasons Which turns out to be one of the things pushed by the rehab physical therapists was just playing take a deep breath every once in a while just exercise your lungs I can see nothing wrong with that so go at it I do find the exercising of the rest of me a bit of a chore. however I did move into my room the funny little peddler the jazz wiggles my feet. something is better than nothing..

My push today is to look into a small apartment size washer dryer quick before the tariffs set in.. and Michelle was basically getting tired of my doing my laundry which I can believe... there is a very large stack of laundry in the wheelbarrow in front of my house I don't know where that came from towels and things like that heavy duty and I think Janine was going to take it to Meredith where they have a big washer to wash horse things otherwise I don't know where it's going because right now it's sitting in the rain

There is an interesting job opening in the area the myopia hunt club does have a polo team a polo team requires I think six horses and those horses have to be fit so the only way to make them fit is to work them ride them whatever which the polo rider don't have time to do---I can remember seeing usually young girls riding one horse and leading four like go round Bradley Palmer state forest getting all of them fit. Michele's husband he's actually a jockey.

and Michelle worked on the track ponying horses It being a nice day and they decided to go for a horseback ride there were about 36 horses that were available to them is to borrow them and ride them.  as a general rule there is a lack of serious horsemanship the kind that shovel their own stalls and take care of their own horses   just as with dogs there is a lack of anybody to actually train them.---

Unfortunately a great deal of time that pertains to children also--- I can't tell you the number of grandparents they've offered me their grandchildren when they see how well fizzle or LARKY behave if we're in Costco.
