couple things... for those who get this in their emails. details... i can not send it out thru aol becsause we have too many (1800) -- who get it by email -- so i use constant contact-- bulk mailer-- the rest read it off our web "daily doggie" ... because constant contact is a bulk mailer they have to legally stop sending if requested---- at which point it turns out, i can not request tht htey re-instate it .. s o if some of you can figure out how-- please do.--- and let m know.... apparently there are 3 of you this has happened to. otherwise continue to go to servicedogproject.org.. for the daily doggie
there--- tht is the nonsense of the day.." please let me know if you did not get this" which is not quite true...some people want it in their emails and some get it off our web page....
i did learn something from last night's debate... that cuomo kid is some kind of looker... he is no kid-- but as a cnn host he is very pleasent to look at... especially at 4am...
whatever are they all going to talk about after the election??? i suppose they just start the next election.... --i can understand how some of these wierd voting practices got started when all of new england had about 3000 residents- and the next bunch was in ohio... but now that we have internet capabilities, what is wrong with one person one vote.... pile them up and declare the winner???
didn't president carter go to ?africa? to monitor the voting practices to be sure they were honest??? well i can not believe these deals would pass his inspection.. remember i bought one of the voting machines from florida-- the "hanging chad" ones.. and it never should have passed inspection.
however i do think someone has a point to ask, if the candidates need a committee to study how the votes are counted... how about the poor voter trying to understand?
i hear they are going to use BASE 8 to add up the votes this year - it can be done but what 's the point???
***
if they had any sense none of them would be running for a job where about 21% get shot at and 10% killed??? osha would never approve...
***
the parking lot/ new fence... lot lines recieved attention yesterday as deb ( neighbor) --and i stood there and said "i think the fence should line up with that tree"--- we were a little short on yellow tape but we settled on a line... so ryan could clean out the brush and get ready for GE volunteers to arrive and pound posts and rolling fence--- it will run vaguely paralell to the flat field fence and enlarge teh cemetery ....
***
i know nothing of things like lawn and grass-- i happily settle for short green stuff- but i think we need to spread li,me-- to that end we own a contraption that fits in the trailer hitch and flings lime about 20 feet-- used to work well with the smaller more nimble durange-- which i no longer have... the toyota being larger is going to be a real kick to try and set that spreader going and whip around what should be known as teh "lawn" or grass areas.. ..will be a small miracle if i don't land in the pond... wheelbase and mud are huge factors in this proceerure.
at the moment my toyota is "sitting down a bit" as i have best part of ¾ ton of lime in the back...
when they sold it to me they said it was basically a truck underbody.. i take them at their word...
but i think it might be good to get that stuff out of there...
i do not believe we went thru all those "cookies" but there are none in the overflow room (purina cookies that is:) )
now i know why the dogs are getting so fat..
sort of like finding empty whipped cream cans in the trash.
