I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT SERVICE DOG BELLOW PASSED AWAY ON 08/08.  HE LET US KNOW IT WAS TIME.  HIS NINTH BIRTHDAY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE FOLLOWING DAY.

I WANT TO EXPRESS MY SINCERE THAMK YOU FOR THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX AND MAKING YOUR VISION FOR SDP COME TO FRUITION DESPITE THE CRITICISMS AND “KNOWLEDGE” OF OTHERS IN THE FIELD.   

ON 12/31/2017, I WAS OFFICIALLY MATCHED WITH BELLOW.  HE CAME INTO MY LIFE WHEN I NEEDED HIM MOST.  ON THAT DAY, I DIDN’T JUST GAIN MY PARTNER AND SENSE FREEDOM, I GAINED A LARGE EXTENDED FAMILY OF CPs, VOLUNTEERS, AND PEOPLE WHO WORKED AT SDP.

i hate to hear any have passed away, but i have hundreds of dogs i worked with.  

(- and donated  either as service dogs   or as pets ( workng pets hopefully) ) 

 they are all getting to the age of “completed lifetime “  

 you give dogs a happy lifetime, and when it is over-- it is over-    you let them sleep

a tough call, but true....

 i am happy to hear that cate “gained a large extended family" of Camera People. -- that “family “ still exists today.

i send out this daily doggie with constaNT CONTACT BECAUSE AOL IS FUSSY ABOUT TOO BIG A GROUP OF ADDRESSES

IT GOES OUT TO 2500 ADDRESSES AND IS  OPENED AND  READ BY 1189 PEOPLE PRETTY REGULARLY.

 EVEN WITH MY BAD PERFORMANCE IN THE PAST MONTH. I AM. SHOCKED TO SEE HOW REGULAR THAT NUMBER IS

ACTUALLY THAT 1189  NUMBER GOES BACK 4 OR 5 YEARS.

 EVEN WITH THE NUMBER OFR CP’S WHO ARE RESTING IN PIECE SOMEWHERE... THERE SEEM TO BE A STEADY FLOW OF 

ONE OR TWO WEEKLY TO KEEP THE  TOTAL STEADY,

WE ARE A  SOLID BLOCK OF PEOPLE -- WHO KEEP THIS BUSINESS  OF BENEFITTING ANIMALS WHO THEN BENEFIT PEOPLE

get some more by noon... the tractor supply is literally 3 miles away..

 BUT HEARD THERE IS SOME CHEEZE ABOUT TO MAKE EVERYON SICK/

I DON’T KNOW HOW EATING TREATS OUT OF A FRY PAN COULD IN ANY WAYBE ANYTHING BUT FUN- 

I CERTAINLY DON;T SEE THAT AS ANYTHING BUT  FUN TREATS.

SIZE WISE-- WE COULD USE MORE/BIGGER TREAT EATERS BECAUSE IN THE BIG JOBS WITH LOTS OF KIDS

 EXCEPT----- LARKEY ATE MY NET BANDAGE COVERING AND THO IT DID COME OUT --- IN PIECES-- ONE ALWAYS WONDERS IF ALL CAME OUT.. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE LARKEY DID PRODUCE PROJECTILE   DIHARREA  

THAT ONE THING--- FASTER THQN ALL OTHERS   ----  WILL ELIMINATE ALL HIS VISITING N. URSING HOMES UNTIL HE PRODUCES RECOGNISEABLE LUMPS....

LONG AGO--- DEAGLE... MY VERY FIRSWT IMPORTED STUD DOG..  HAD THAT PROBLEM --- PROJECTILE.... HE WAS STANDING IN THE LIVING ROOM-- AND THE NOISE OF HIS “MOVEMENT-  MAD HIM TURN AROUND AND TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT ALL THE NOISE WAS ABOUT--  SO I ENDED UP 

 WITH A 360 DEGREE PROBLEM.... ALONG WITH RUG SHAMPOOERS....

 STAND UP STRAIGHT AND WALK NORMALLY it never occurred to me i would be in their shoes 

 yesterday when we had the 4 dogs at trask,, and we went to leave.  larkey slid right into position on my left and stayed with the position thru 4 doors and lumps of peopel..

 if he had a harness on. i don;t think i would haqve needed a walker.

that walker bends me almost double.

he has not had aqy practice staying with someone who gets shakey and needs support- but he seems to understaqnd the problem...\

 if donna and randy are here today, mayve we can give it a try..

we-- judy and 4 dogs--- noodles and the usual 3 --- both sizzle and larkey raN OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING TO HAVE A LARGE  BM-

‘WOW... THEY WERE OUT BEFORE WE LEFT AND SHOULD HAVE TIMED IT DIFFERENTLY.. BUT JUDY HAD GIVEN THE BREAKFAST AT 7:45 

WHICH MEANT a BM at 11:00???    ok....must feed before 7am so the bm is before we leave for these “jobs”???

janine is in carolinas and will be home tomorow --- i am told..... she carries alot of the weight around here.. 

so when she is gone there is a shuffle  of   strange cars arriving and leaqving ---to get everyone fed and watered.  

goldys farm is a complicated operation.. hopefully we can continue to pull ourselves together without going nuts...

 i will like to have more camera people come here for a day or two and help... that is always fun !

 currancy-- there is all kinds ofcurrancy-- but around here... bales of hay is a big for which there is no substitute.

close behind is a brass snap..  4 inches... brass -- and last night elizabeth came  in here  nearly in tears wanting 5 of them..

 i coule quickly locate 4 from my brass snap bank account which is in a blue bucket under the dog’s bed.

 i. have 3 blue 5  gallon  pails which  c ontain the most part of the monkey fist endeavour....

 misc brass.. rings and snaps... balls... from 1/2 inch marbles to  xx# bowling balls...then carefully labeled..”pieces of tope too short to use

which i am into constantly when someone wants me to show them h ow i wind off the ends..

  and every monkey fist i do produces  a short “leftover”

i should include “important but not  irreplaceable ..  on a farm would have to be a fly swatter.

to live in only one room does point out what needs to be pointed out the door...  we - not just me- but USA in general

 have too much “stuff”.   i have not even opened the door to building #25--

 I AM LIVING QUITE NICELY in this janine designed appartment of one room...( with one closet)

one of my issue soday is that the goats  have literaLLY STRIPPED PUPPY HILL OF ANYTHING

my potatoe stuffing was a success -- due mostlly to heather--

 heather is a retired bank employee... turned dog walkerand ocasionally a carlene driver...- and totally enjoying the dogs !

most of my real food comes from donna and randy-- lima beans and sweet potatoe are the speciality...

dogs? there is a need-- i am told bella has her first dog customer.. she has done a great job with training the pup i found for h3er

janine is off down the drive for a flight to the carolinas... rumor has it... for 4 days..

 i missed out on many of the details... being deaf is no fun !!

i had an email (. advertisement) from gumball-- i would love one of the old metal machines

 the one i have survived over 300 dane pups.. but it is tired... and the plastic ones do not work !

today’s trip is rockport.   janine is loading the trailer as i sit and type.... it is called a day off  for me...-

we are apparently booked solidly for all of august..

we will try for a grant this fall... it could make a huge difference in our operation... lord knows the need is huge

every facility has a person in charge of entertainment-- it looks like the state may mandate this job to someone--- but what a lot of  overworked people, with no budget. they are suppopsed to fill all the days monthly-  that is why all the crayons and bingo cards.... 

i must admit,  i have heard whisperings lately about giving these facilities more leeway in ente4rtainment bt recognizing care-giving  is a job--- a very real job-- often a job someone inherits and does not willingly choose.    giving the job some recognition . of  financial benefit by the IRS-- i have heard whispers....

many thanks for the sell out--  our  fundraising field is anyone with either a mother or a father -- or both... that eventually will need... ask...  require your attention.. so my thanks to those who keep us going.. we are doing  a good job  filling a spot which should draw more attention than it currently does..

Aug 3  progress is being made.. in that we have exhausted all possibilities except the geek squad—which apparently works on Sundays...—judy tried.. Janine tried.. and now gwen has tried .. they apparently manage4d to ge4t the bill paid... but still the functions I need ( dictation and copy paste) are not “available to me”.when I try and dictate I get    “opps not now” our spectacular info is ben is moving in his 38 footboat into our 48 foot “g tent” Monday morn...  special hauling and permit times etc

 

 Hopefully the geek squad will get me operational by then.
