 DD 5 31

#1.  ZITI IS NOW LOOSE AT NIGHT LIKE THE ”BIG DOGS”LACHY AND SIZZLE

#2. WITH THE “LAWNMOWER GUY” FROM MERIDITH’S ’QIK PIK”   WE ARE SOLD OUT..

#3.  I HAVE OPENED THE GOLDYS NUGGETS SECTION FOR WHEN YOU ALL SELL OUT THE “ORIGIONAL” BOARD OF 700..

WE COULD MAYBE USE A BETTER COLOR FOR  WHEN YOU  CHOOSE A”GOLDY’S NUGGET—BUT THE DARKER YELLOW DOES WORK ... FOR NOW..

SO THE WINNER WILL GET TO CHOSE THE DONKEY BABY’S OFFICIAL. NAME...-

AND I BETTER GET THE BOARD DOWN FROM THE RAFTERS AND GET THE NUMBERS ON IT !!

Interestingly Janine took the two chickens,  Carl (DOG CARL) who is not a chicken chaser +Wanda and was that all to the nursing home yesterday were very successful  and she was shocked as I have been and how popular the chickens are two silly chickens who are now housebound relatively clean chickens living in carly's apartment who would have known

but it does give you some idea of the things that we'll entertain these people and somehow I wish we could get a better line on roving entertainment or something something needs to be done with the whole project and we will work on it what I have ----is that Donna ohh she's gonna love this one old Donna from way back who's still around somewhere her husband has a small collection of musicians that enjoy playing together and they practice in somebody's garage well why can't they practice in some nursing home because as I go through these nursing homes mentally at least all of them have a common room of some kind many of those common rooms have a stage they all have smart televisions that they can't run they're all heated and air conditioned So what a perfect place it would be for these guys to practice their music and that got me thinking about even the Alzheimer patients love to sing the old songs well can somebody come up with an Alzheimer no come up with a a series of those songs you sing in bars what the hell is it coyote something like that why can't we come up with it half hour or so of old time songs for old timers to sing it's a way out idea but it's an idea that's out -----and--- I don't know why the high school. Track team when they're out jogging through the town why they don't make a point ohh jogging past the windows of these nursing homes and daycare centers just anything anything for entertainment these people are in tough shape but I'm sure we're a little effort ohh you folk we could put together a list of how to----With zero effort---provide some sort of mental entertainment for day care and nursing homes some of which would just be run by the windows outside,..

all of that made me wonder about Judy whose hands are healing by the way what about her turtle ???  that the turnal carry strange diseases or no??  some eyes somehow I seem to think that I was not supposed to buy it one of those tiny turtles in the cans or whatever when I was a kid because of some medical reason so if one of you would research that one that would be very helpful .

So there you go you have your assignment for the day--making a list of possible distractions I guess we could call them to help some of these daycare centers provide a more mentally active environment. and then what songs should we put on our karaoke or whatever that thing is which all these 70 and 80 year old people would like to sing..

 HAVE AT IT!

please and thank you

Dd. 5 30

If you hit your head on a stone wall long enough it is such a relief to have someone finally come along and say you can stop it now. I am still hesitant to go into too many details... Because their lawyer is proficient in marketing fear..   and let me tell you fear of a legal mess is expensive ---So I find there's a small army of people around me who are afraid to help for fear of having legal complications with the service dog projects lawyer.... Way back in the beginning several years ago Lynn made the statement to me that she did not want to pay staff to help me carry groceries up three steps. and their lawyer found that a well placed e-mail threatening legal action was enough to shut off any help to me carrying  my groceries into the house..... which mind you is upstairs or up a hill or whatever not an easy thing however... moving on...

Somebody's gonna make a fortune writing the story... and goalie has an odd way about her--- this Wednesday veterinarian---now treating noodles and ziti

is not only a veterinarian but a lawyer---a lawyer who has specialized in real estate transactions and things like that..  aside from that he's a very humorous charming fellow and Elizabeth and I thoroughly enjoyed bantering with him while he figured out who should have what shot..  and also while they analyzed the small quantity of urine that I had collected from ziti.  the sample was literally inconclusive...  So what he did was to prescribe a series of antibiotic which I should hold on to for a day or two to see if her UTI clears up by itself---not uncommon in little girl puppies..

My day will be all dental work as I finally--have the courage to go and run up a bill there--  I have been using orthopedic wax to cover the fact that I basically minus my front tooth so we'll see what we can do officially today

meanwhile Janine and somebody will be taking I believe donkeys to some daycare center in the pouring rain she's done things like that before---she will manage...

looking upward.....

 ddv 5 29

here we go again.....

Dd 5 29
my efforts getting these seeds planted is not falling on deaf ears but it doesn't have a very high priority--- a great effort has been made to bring the whole place up to a point where people can sit and enjoy all the things that there are to enjoy here the fact that I haven't gotten a few seeds planted it's not too high on the list but if I have enough of today I'm gonna take some of those bricks that are down in the parking pits and make little squares and put one seed in the middle and see what happens my concept of rototilling the whole path is I don't think that's gonna happen however we now own a rototiller.

Will the great deal of patience and finally a syringe minus the needle I was able to get a sample  of urine from ziti by using Elizabeth's method of turning that absorbent pad upside down resulting in a small puddle which I think is probably enough we have a doctor's appointment at 9:00 with this Wednesday veterinarian who is pretty funny. .

Ziti has  progressed to being loose at night without bugging lucky and sizzle--- she almost made it through the night

I am struggling to try and have sizzle lucky and ziti.  in the pond area at once where I can drive around in my golf cart and have them chase me I can't say that's tremendously successful yet but I'm working on it,,  also Janine has decided the give zitie a few lessons on a leash walking...    that is walking quietly next to her instead of constantly cutting her off by walking in front---..  we have a ways to go on that score too.  Siri is very good add corrections from across don't the room  “Don't eat that” and even “now lie down”!“

I had a terrible argument with my golf cart which has resulted and one of my ribs being very unhappy with  the rest of my body.  so consequently I have now one more ailment to complain about   aren’t I lucky..

Such is the day----

 We

Several people donated to the henny petty fund because we got TEA TENT READY.     cleaned up and opened Janine is saying we should have official opening Sunday I don't know how official it has to be but just by all means anybody and everybody come and join us I don't know if I'll be able to get a chicken Stew going but I'll certainly talk about it um and we will be here and let's see what happens.  every morning I check not only the weather but also the comments both in e-mail and on the henny penny to see what everybody's concerned about......  I thought ohh an official opening of the T10 sounds like fine by all means I don't know as we would be able to accommodate anybody flying in from Oregon but we 'LL TRY damn hard...   ..  I better  temper that comment with the fact that our accommodations for visiting camera people is a little bit reduced but there's always the RV for somebody...

Last thing I remember yesterday was a very bedraggled Janine came through the cabin having just sanded and then I think put a coat of polyurethane on one of the tables in the T10  ..  but whatever when it comes to us at goalies farm you take what you get and sometimes that's very amusing and fun we hope -....  certainly the swing set is very operational.  Hi

Now on the topic of pellet stoves we need to have some research done I am not finding that they are and a great answer to try to stay warm...   this one I have shut itself off twice last night and I had to get up and push the reset button and after about 20 minutes it would start again...   that in a cold house is not a great fun thing to do Plus looking at it from the top down....   which is what I should have done to beginning

this pellet stove I have is beautiful it looks absolutely lovely it's constructed very well and things like that apparently on the market it sells. NEW.  for around $4000 but I found it in New Hampshire at a man's house who basically repairs and resells pellet stoves he is a retired fireman and he has quite a business going because what I decided I like the looks of this stove he gave me a date two months ahead where he would be at my property to install it that's how far ahead he was booked at any rate... it does have its opinion about whether or not it will run and it's not always that it's run out of pellets last night I had had plenty of pellets and kept turning itself off when the red light was still on which was calling for heat that big old  in the stove BIG BEN  would never dream of shutting itself off midstream..   and Big Ben right now is parked right next to this pellet stove so that every time I have to get behind the pellet stove push the reset button I am reminded that Big Ben is sitting there just looking for a job... when I was researching these pellet stoves one thing that fascinated me was I did not have to stay 3 feet from it the the recommended distance the furniture was 12 to 18 inches. and I checked that with the fire department it was true.. well if you're about to install something to increase the heat in your house it seems to me it ought to be putting out heat a little bit further than 12 to 18 inches that should have been a clue. you better stay 12 to 18 inches out of away from big BEN  you're going to be in big trouble..

. Now the story about using scraps of lumber to make pellets is questionable...   bud came up with a story about how someone is stripping the forests in North Carolina and putting it all on a boat to go to Germany because they no longer have the amount of lumber needed to keep up with the demand for pellets.  the stripping of forests is not my favorite topic either....  scraps had a certain appeal but not raw number---- so I think that all you camera people should look into that concept where are they getting all these pellets from... and report back to me.... As for fuel for Big Ben we have trees falling down all around us and then two houses and things like that we have plenty of lumber and we do have a splitter and it's not difficult to do I would hate to have to split by hand but we do have a splitter and have done that for years...

Sizzle is being very attentive to ziti --and I'm pretty sure she has a UTI and we do have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow morning I would like to capture a sample..  yesterday Elizabeth ran over to where she'd peddled and collected a spoonful off the mat...   I tried to copy that and had zero success until she came in and told me that she had flipped the mat over to the waterproof side and that's how she got the puddle to begin with so that's where I am at the moment standing I did find a syringe in judies belongings so I am loaded and ready for action and they will go to the doctor tomorrow..

here we go againmmmmmmmm

Dd 5 27

I'm not sure when Judy will be returning I did talk to her daughter yesterday and she said she was doing fine taking her pills I'm not sure she can drive too well with pain pills but um whatever uh I am also assuming that she's making phone calls from home and that she has more things to fill in for us Janine has done job so fabulous job cleaning up this place getting ready for the buses from daycare and we got to make sure the buses from daycare get here....  they certainly all we're very enthusiastic about  having a place to go to..

we will have to do some dressing up of that a path which is a probably 1/4 of a mile and we want to make it hard packed stone dust that would be acceptable to both wheelchairs and bicycles and things like that..   I hate to think of another big Masterson bill to have to pay off but it looks like that may happen with that path needing a good coat of stone dust along with the manure piles that have to go away along with a couple of trees that really do need to come down/there is no end....

fortunately there are a couple people who have mentioned helping out with the setting up of goldies farm..   I guess we're all set up what we need is dressing up coat of paint here and there wouldn't work wouldn't hurt either

Budd said that the pond is now draining again after he cleared the outlet--- interestingly Janine had visions of putting in another exit pipe and all we had to do was clear the one we had but also said he will work on getting the fountains going... that's always been a special project of his—

Strangely enough to turn the fountains on and off the switch is underneath the sink which is now Elizabeth sink...

is there any diesel expert out there in this crowd who might be able to give us some advice on these two tractors basically they start up and run a little bit and then die out ... apparently the small tractor. runs a few minutes longer than the big tractor if that makes any sense to anybody.. any help would be appreciated..

We are still moaning about the fact that both tractors are down with what could possibly be wrong fuel I don't ------s the reason I do know because I wrote the check the last time we had a total update on the larger tractor it was just a little over $3200..   ---..  My advice on diesel engines it's a little more difficult   and I bought that big dump trailer specifically so we could take the big tractor away to be fixed because just picking up and bringing the tractor back was 4 or $500. It is amazing how much we miss them when they're out commissione.  piles of material pile up.  pieces of trees sit where they don't belong and the grass needs  Attention

Janine did manage to borrow an electric mower from Meredith---and at least got much of it mowed To a respectable level.  Along with blowing the driveway we're as ready as we're ever gonna be at this time.

 dd 5 25

Pretty henny pennies....   64% sold out remember the winner gets to name the baby I think I also think that was supposed to happen on the 3rd of June let us all see if we can stay organized starting with me get the numbers down and on the board..

I am constantly reminded by those who see me out and around with the dog how critical our visits are to people who are stuck in these daycare centers where the only thing to do

Is enjoy your milk and cookies at 10:00 and at 2:00 we will play bingo and tomorrow we'll do the same thing and tomorrow and tomorrow.  some of these people we see have not spoken or moved in years that will talk to or pat the dogs for the first time in a long time that's proving once again dogs have entirely more value that we give them credit for.

We—Janine--- are getting the farm spiffed up so that people coming in buses can enjoy a place to sit down and watch what animals we are having to play with that day the Ttent is in good shape with two big tables the tables could stand on the sanding but that's alright there they're clean and they're ready for operation and I just saw that tiny  horse who's had her spring cleaning got rid of all the long hair she's considerably smaller that I had originally thought the rest was all hair the last thing Janine did yesterday was to blow dry the dry the driveway of all things and that really makes the place look good too she also made the executive decision that we have enough white fence and that the rest could go to a needy white fence needy person so Janine  put it on this Facebook whatever and it wasn't there for 20 minutes but there was a woman who said she wanted it and it would be right down to get it and she was and she is no spring chicken either but I guess she's taking all the leftover white fence the rest of the fence will be designed with animals in mind more in mind with having 4 by 4 posts about every 10 feet and then really strong twisted wire...not   welded wire----- my preference is the red red top brand um 4 foot 5 foot or 6 foot whatever that particular animal demands and then topped with a board.. at least that's the latest plan.

Being out and around on my golf cart means I see all sorts of things that have been skipped over from the last two yrs,,----the fences are really in tough shape where either something has happened to them.   like a tree falls down and nobody fixes it or there's some kind of break and it's just ignored .. so  that we don't use that property anymore which is not quite the way it's gonna go.. the basic problem on fencing is that our fences were originally designed for raising puppies to be service dogs so that by the time they got to be one year old and older they were pretty well trained and on their way out ----our fences were not designed to have one and two year old dogs very happy strong thrilled and literally dangerous capable of jumping 4 foot ---without any trouble so somebody just went to the house area and took down a lot of our 6 foot fence to put around these virtually wild dog and they never replaced it so that had left a big hole in are planning how to manage the dogs we own ourselves I know I cannot put my puppy out in the yard to play with them because of the traffic car goes through there every few minutes parking down back which I've asked them not to do but they do anyway so I can't enjoy my puppy as I would like to fearing  she will get run over.

while I'm on the topic of cars and traffic..  I have spoken to everyone I know about the fact that Elizabeth picked up sandwich wrapper and banana peel two different times in the driveway and I picked up one of those small liquor bottles liquor nips ----I didn't notice what kind but it made me very angry that somebody would just throw it out the window and it must have happened in the last few weeks because we just had that area totally raked  and they certainly would have seen that liquor bottle in the process of raking    so I mentioned that to the next two SDP drivers to go through and one of them said “ I don't believe you”  and the second one said “who cares?”  that  shows you what we're dealing with---  I haven't managed to tell Lynn specifically  yet --but these were two of her drivers ----zero respect.

With the speed of  an ad in FACEBOOK.... I have a whole new concept of some of my “RELICs”

 dd 5 24

 Dd 5 24..

There is so much going on that not only Doth my cup runneth over but my desk is heaped with undertones I am recovering from being ill I'm not sure my desk of the recovery from my being ill but I'll have to work on it.. I was shocked to  try and line up r  and W rope which is where I get rope and cord for various projects and what was once 12 cents a foot for that quarter inch rope that I use so often is now $0.30 a foot..   it's unbelievable how much rope is used in these various projects particularly that dish takes about 30 feet of rope---  I'm not sure that even makes $9 worth of dish but at $0.30 a foot my fascination with bowl making. severely limited...   However the monkey fist goes on and on--

I am reported that not just one tractor is not functioning properly but both of them are having the same symptoms I'm starting and working only briefly before smoke noises bangs and quitting...  the fact that it's both tractors does put a new line on it so to speak.  it could be--- we have nine containers for carrying fuel from the gas station they're yellow red and blue

and they are not interchangeable---  I have to look every time I use one of those cans to be absolutely positive that I'm correct because they are labeled --  the blue clearly says diesel... From this problem of sputtering and stopping for both tractors apparently that's a sign of a fuel problem--  with somebody trying to be helpful could have tried pouring a red can into a tractor actually both tractors..  at any rate they're both down and I'm having to call the professionals. Masterson Construction.. but before I do that I want to be sure we have all the projects lined up for his big equipment before we call so we can maximize the trip..

sidewalk superintendents---  those are the people in New York City who stand and look through the little holes in the barriers whenever there's construction going on in Manhattan...  those people may think it's easy to run one of those tractors and smooth out the landscape in a very tidy fashion..   let me be the 1st to tell you that some of these guys who run bulldozers could thread a needle with a bulldozer----  it is a very exacting art..   and it is not a very forgiving 1 in the learning process..  Long long ago I ordered big dump trailer ohh stone dust for that area in front of the ICU building with the intention of just making it flat--  and I spent many days the shoving around a pile of dirt, Before finally giving up and getting one of masters of men come in and in 20 minutes he’d  done what I had messed up for three days..   education is sometimes expensive..

I have a very healthy respect for piles. of what some may call "material". be it just plain dirt. or manure..

I am reminded of the city man who approached a farmer plowing a field and said he'd give him $10,000 for that field and the farmer replied--  “you come around with a wheelbarrow and I'll give you $10,000 worth of that field .” --  the place where just plain dirt gets incredibly expensive is when someone's septic system fails and they have to replace the leaching field for drainage and they need to replace truckloads of soil which will drain somehow.

Another soil story--  I have a friend who decided to make a riding ring out of a. hill...  When everybody was criticizing for how ridiculous that sounded, the friend made a fortune selling the pile of dirt which was the hill..

another soil story---  when we built this house and barn in 1979 the contractor who was working for us said that he would put our house up for nothing  if we let him caused the hold 12 acres to be absolutely flat because he could truck away the soil.

I think of those stori..s every time we get a shovel full of dirt off a dust pan in the house..  at one point will that have a value?

A clear winner.....—the old old iron stove... I had a nest nasty run in with the pellet stove last night I was awake at 2:00 and decided to make a breakfast Patty thing in the microwave and it it did cook the whole thing and then it blew the switches which shut off everything except apparently the 220 circuits because the stove was still on and the washing machine area was still on so I assume the 220 was still working and the rest got shut off why my chair was still working I'm not sure it must have a battery back up. Somehow.  interesting that there is on normal outlet in a 220 stove. which could be very handy !!

but the problem was aside from having no heat this pellet stove which had been operating fine continue to burn pellets and make smoke except it no longer had a fan to blow it outside the house so it started blowing inside the house and as I was sitting right there next to it I began to worry about how much of that smoke was actually carbon monoxide....   and did I have one of those carbon monoxide things on the ceiling somewhere... and if it was there was it hooked into the main electrical system of the whole place in which case it wasn't working at the moment but since the place was plenty breezy I opted not to worry about the carbon monoxide at least at the moment but ----the pellet stove is actually dependent on electricity also. however the old iron stove were the logs in them stands there brave and strong.

Today is judy's day for big surgery so everybody should worry about that please—

she has hands that don't work quite right I'm sure there's a long Latin name for it all and she has had this surgery once before and it is quite extensive but she's off to the doctor for today

I think today is the day Wallace is supposed to roto till the upper corner of the pond area so we could finally get these seeds in which fugan had sent us so kindly . Uh

other than that I plan to take another day off just lollygagging around in my chair and maybe out onto the deck.. Janine is such a big cake for fresh air..

darn this thing why does it do that ????

Dd 5 22

I got sidetracked by the latest Randy rainbow it never occurred to me that rainbow was his real name but I have enjoyed him for quite a while now as a talented Broadway singer with a few weird political opinions and he does seem to slander anybody which sticks their neck ...the guys  vocabulary is fantastic. as he puts together these Broadway tunes  in his living room.. Rumor has it that they may make a Broadway show of has extremely clever. songs.  And who can actually believe that his real name was rainbow.. he's quite talente  And extremely funny...  I like funny..

I am also still sick...  I haven't even thought of getting better yet in spite of the fact Janine thinks I should be out mending fences--- she has decided to tackle the fencing that shows on various cameras trying to make us look spiffy and I keep telling her we are what we are and people seem to enjoy being here and hanging about regardless of whether the fences are at 90° or 67 1/2 degrees .

The part of me that's sickest is my head...  I can't imagine where all that fluid is coming from but I've gone through three boxes of Kleenex with virtually water just running out my nose Actually they may be technical my right nostril appears to have some plumbing problem..

Janine is also tackling such problems as our web page and let's face it just our plain name I think goalies farm now needs to have its own 501C3 and things like that they will eventually straighten out but at the moment it ain't easy.

I can't think of anything I would rather do today then sit and try and find all the rest of Randy rainbows musical rendition

 dd 5 20

why does this dop that????

Dd 5 20 .

I have no business even looking---- at the age of 86 and things like that-- but you know this business of not allowing dogs to be imported after August 1st has scared me ...

problem being that Claudia Bohemia kennel in the Czech Republic has absolutely gorgeous dogs all tested for everything and they look wonderful there is no way you can let one get to be 6 months old before importing it that's just not gonna work right...  but for me to even think of importing ---  I really have to be in cahoots with somebody to take the dog from me should I not be able to take care of it----   right at the moment I have only one pup is  doing very well..  noodle seems to have moved across the driveway and if he doesn't belong to them they're  certainly feeding him regularly and I believe they're looking for a home for him I don't know ---at any rate he's not in my house I have only two adults and one female pup... now somehow that wasn't a problem when Janine picked up another pub that was a question but when I decide I would like to have a Harlequin Dane pup to go with my visiting tribe everybody gets all excited about ohh no you can't have two -----well Janine brought home noodles as a second pup..   there's something not quite right there.

I am not totally alone in this dog project... there are several people back there in the woods who could bail me out if I needed to be bailed out..  just as somebody took Jimmy... who is doing very well by the way eating all kinds of whipped cream at the local coffee shop.  absolutely perfect behavior and having a wonderful time.

So I look at the oncoming August 1st when we may no longer import dogs from Europe or anywhere outside the United states until they are 6 months old.. as a threat to the quality of dogs that will be available.  There are all kinds of channels with some really good looking dogs--my personal favorite is the Claudia Bohemia kennel in the Czech Republic..  They are closely affiliated with pet air--which I have used many times to import dogs very successfully... the only problem is there are no direct flights from the Czech Republic to Boston.. and last time Sir Richard had to be sent from the Prague to Lisbon to Boston.. 24 hours...    where if you buy a dog in Germany who's already full of the Germany rabies rules and regulation there is a flight from Frankfurt direct to Boston... and taking the dog from the Czech Republic into Germany is just too damn complicated but I look at those dogs of hers-- and they look worthy of the question “is that one of carlene's dogs”. we when out training.

Tiz a puzzlement !!

dd 5 19.

Sun, May 19 at 7:00 AM

Dd 5 19

I know that there were some back in that crowd that I've meant to enter to answer but I couldn't deal with the volume anymore-- I just bit the bullet and deleted 555 emails that were holding  me down...

I have several stumbling blocks I just can't seem to shake.. the 2 biggest....... is getting Wallace to work the rototiller so I can get the peas and sunflowers planted especially the ones that Hogan keep sending us we have a bunch that should be in the ground and I can't connect with him to run the rototiller..

and then there's getting ziti.  out for her off leash training in the yard which I can't do because of the  constant traffic both in and out ..  ...

The two jobs the other day really were an awakening---there are times we need 2 sets  of animals ready to go--- we do not now have that---The Toyota dealer has ordered a part which should solve our trailer lighting problems But we don't have as much available as I would like to and on occasion need... which is my quiet little pitch for two puppies----  ziti is wonderful she's going to be good I think wouldn't I love a nice big Harlequin to work with her..

Goldie come on see what you can do..

----coming down the Pike on August 1st is a new law which does not allow you to import dogs under six months of age.. I never intended to get back in the breeding business but just finding good solid dogs is a big challenge with just American bred Danes .. I don't know maybe Goldie will find us something..

there are people who use Danes in agility they're not very many of them.. but one of them was here yesterday Beth---  had the national champion agility dane--  which to her benefit was a white and was deaf---   she trained it beautifully and one all sorts of awards with the deaf white dane.. She also had a lab which she did that business of distance jumping off Piers into the water ..

Beth is a big advocate of clicker training, and raw chicken necks..  which I just plain could not cope with Can you imagine the smell around here if we tried storing enough  chicken necks to keep everybody fed ----I don't think I want that problem.

There was a puppy in medford female...  which I think they gave away and was returned it is very white I don't know whether it's deaf or not and I know def dogs are a peculiar challenge but it is just a peculiar challenge they can be just as good as anybody else---and I already own the the collar that buzzes...

Maybe nick should check on that one once again I would hate to have it put down Because it's deaf when that too might be an educational tool no???

i allways have trouble copy and paste here.

I don't know what happened yesterday... we were moving at a pretty happy pace because we had two jobs one at 10 andover and the other at noon very near Boston Reviere maybe? In any case we got it together and did both jobs very nicely although it was tiring on the dogs um ziti did collapse not collapse she just fell asleep on the front seat of the car and everybody had to look at her through the window... every job we do is different and certainly the one in Riviera was different what it involved was pulling the car onto the playground and letting dogs loose... having different classes of children come out and look at the dogs pat the dogs talk about the dogs and then go back in on a rotational basis so it really was a simple matter to eliminate ziti from the process except to have her visually available through the window the other two slept all the way home. but as we were putting it together it also occurs to me we don't have two sets of pet dogs either..  this is in no way stretching any point whatsoever about the fact that now and again there might be a Harlequin Dane puppy available somewhere that I really ought to look at.. but we don't want to talk about that.

I'm very happy with this puppy and hope she grows into something able to take not take sizzle's place but walk in her footsteps it's gonna be terribly hard to come up with a larkey replacement--that dog has nerves of steel-- even if he does misbehave on occasion.

now it's about putting your parents in a nursing home.. I'm sure there are times when there is no other solution however at the 1st place we went to yesterday we went into a room which had eight people in it and I thought ohh that's kind of too bad but by the time we had been there 1/2 an hour there were 40 people crammed in that one room all trying to see the dogs and the puppy and things like that.. and in that group was Ron and Hope Nutter

out of my long gone past... Hope and I we're basically the two people who put together that crazy circus she had four children I had to and we had one extra Cindy but Hope and I got into all kinds of trouble here there and everywhere be it magazine delivery or circus production we had a good time it was a shock to see her in that adult care home,,, in a wheelchair.... we had some good times together.. she explained that they were in that place.. which mind you is absolutely beautiful one of the best we go to ,

Because their children basically put them there.. and she said they hate it.

How many times have I heard that same situation.    The man with the junkyard where we got ziti-- told us stories about each side of him was a situation where the older woman was forced into a nursing home by children.. he went on at great details on that but the eventuality was the same the woman lost...

fortunately I don't think I'm in that position but I can see where everything can slide sideways into “well it's really for her better benefit...” etc etc. Rest assured I would fight it--- tooth and nail

age is a pain in everyone's neck..from just old to deaf added, it ain't a ride on a merry-go round.
