Dd 5 18.

I don't know what happened yesterday... we were moving at a pretty happy pace because we had two jobs one at 10 andover and the other at noon very near Boston Reviere maybe? In any case we got it together and did both jobs very nicely although it was tiring on the dogs um ziti did collapse not collapse she just fell asleep on the front seat of the car and everybody had to look at her through the window... every job we do is different and certainly the one in Riviera was different what it involved was pulling the car onto the playground and letting dogs loose... having different classes of children come out and look at the dogs pat the dogs talk about the dogs and then go back in on a rotational basis so it really was a simple matter to eliminate ziti from the process except to have her visually available through the window the other two slept all the way home. but as we were putting it together it also occurs to me we don't have two sets of pet dogs either..  this is in no way stretching any point whatsoever about the fact that now and again there might be a Harlequin Dane puppy available somewhere that I really ought to look at.. but we don't want to talk about that.

I'm very happy with this puppy and hope she grows into something able to take not take sizzle's place but walk in her footsteps it's gonna be terribly hard to come up with a larkey replacement--that dog has nerves of steel-- even if he does misbehave on occasion.

now it's about putting your parents in a nursing home.. I'm sure there are times when there is no other solution however at the 1st place we went to yesterday we went into a room which had eight people in it and I thought ohh that's kind of too bad but by the time we had been there 1/2 an hour there were 40 people crammed in that one room all trying to see the dogs and the puppy and things like that.. and in that group was Ron and Hope Nutter

out of my long gone past... Hope and I we're basically the two people who put together that crazy circus she had four children I had to and we had one extra Cindy but Hope and I got into all kinds of trouble here there and everywhere be it magazine delivery or circus production we had a good time it was a shock to see her in that adult care home,,, in a wheelchair.... we had some good times together.. she explained that they were in that place.. which mind you is absolutely beautiful one of the best we go to ,

Because their children basically put them there.. and she said they hate it.

How many times have I heard that same situation.    The man with the junkyard where we got ziti-- told us stories about each side of him was a situation where the older woman was forced into a nursing home by children.. he went on at great details on that but the eventuality was the same the woman lost...

fortunately I don't think I'm in that position but I can see where everything can slide sideways into “well it's really for her better benefit...” etc etc. Rest assured I would fight it--- tooth and nail

age is a pain in everyone's neck..from just old to deaf added, it ain't a ride on a merry-go round.

This is going to be a long daily doggy other than

As I sat here at 2:00 AM looking at the doorknob on this cabin was getting kind of worn and loose and I thought I paid for that door knob by delivering magazines at four cents apiece in all weathers ------that people driving up and down my driveway don't have a clue what it took to put that doorknob or  hot top on that driveway so they could drive on it. thus began the story of The Want ad ...

I was working basically on 128 tracking satellites and things for the tech OPS corporation and the mitre corporation when pregnancy stopped that I became the generic housewife with a little bit too much time on my hands... while working in Burlington MA I had become addicted to a publication called the Want Ad which was a classified ad collection of stuff all kinds of stuff being basically a junkyard person I really liked it so when I was no longer working for the mitre corporation I  in Lynnfield I found I had to drive all the way to Burlington to get a copy of this every week---- that lasted for about two weeks when I called the corporation and suggested that I try and expand their territory north of the route 3 area and Mr. grellier who owned the outfit said that he would hire me and pay me $5 for every store that I opened and then two cents a copy for every magazine I sold in that area ---- well that was better than sitting home doing nothing and I was on it

I found I could open stores no problem whatsoever that $5 was wonderful the problem was eventually I got so many stores I couldn't handle it myself .

So I had to call Mr. grellier and explain that I was getting awfully busy and we're gonna have to change the arrangement somehow so he offered to  continue the $5 + 2 cents for everybody who worked for me and I would get $0.02 whatever they sold in my area which was basically north of the Charles River and that's how it started.

I had basically guaranteed that I would get the magazines out on a Tuesday if at all humanly possible which put me and my yellow Volkswagen bug with license plate MD 128 out in all kinds of weather in all kinds of situations because there were days when my normal delivery people just wouldn't get out the driveway... and if they didn't it was up to me to fill the root which I did many times which is why I know every back Rd. In small variety store north of the Charles River..

we lived and breathed want ads--- my first delivery of them was in the back of a VW. 1 carton and before I finished I was getting a tractor trailer full down at what is now the laundry building and all along the way I had a lot of really strange happenings..

one of the more spectacular deliveries was to a store in the center of Boston for some reason the main office did not cover that store and wanted me to do that..

so I hooked up the horse trailer put my motorcycle on it and drove to East Boston where I parked the trailer got on the bike and with three cartons of magazines sitting on my gas tank right in front of me I went through the tunnel into Boston to deliver those magazines no problem..  I didn't hear the thing I don't think I could get away with it now.
I mentioned the VW bug---well somewhere along the way I bought a yellow VW and I found a Rolls Royce nose to put on it and this is what I drove and it did have a license plate which said MD 128 which was my husband's license plate but somebody had offered him a low number so he tossed that one and I took it... so I was delivering magazines  in central square Cambridge one day there are three delivery points in central square and I use the loading zone to deliver and at the first one the policewoman told me I should not do that and I was already on my way out so I went to the next one which was still within her vision and parked there so she came to yell at me about that one so by the time I got to the 711 the third place the third loading zone she was very annoyed and came over and said I have never yet seen a doctor's wife delivering magazines at which point I said "well you have now..". Even though she gave me a ticket and I had to go back into court and I did not have to pay it because I was legitimately in a loading zone.

..

The magazines would be delivered to me Sunday evening so that Monday all day long people would come and pick up whatever I assigned to them then they go out Tuesday delivering it and Tuesday night they would come back to me with a paper bag full of $1.00 bills and coins mostly and they would leave it somewhere and then call me and tell me where they left it because that was often not here to receive it this was no small amount of money it amounted to five or $6000 all being shuffled around in paper bags and coins but it worked.. a favorite place to leave the money was in the grain bin because I knew I had to feed the horses at 5:00 or so and I'd find money there.. I don't think I ever lost any..

Most delivery people picked up their magazines out of my building but there were several that we're just too far away and I would deliver to them one of the places was in Salem NH the the delivery person lived right outside the gate to canopy lake..///. so every morning Monday morning not only my children but several neighborhood children would pile in the car I would hook up a very small trailer behind this Volkswagen and I would drive these magazines to canopy lake and the kids would get two hours time At canobie  lake..  the fact that we were back there every week on a Monday morning meant that there was never one of these oh I want one more ride they all knew they'd be back there the next week and how I fit all those children in that car I do not know I believe the total was 7 Gwen and Janine Cindy who lived up the street and then there were the four Nutter girls that makes 7 the rule was you got in and you did not complain about anything we would stop at McDonald's and you got two things a soda and fries or fries and a hamburger or soda and hamburger two things one at each hand you ate it and we kept going.

we lived with coins everybody would turn in their receipt to me with the money they'd collected which rarely had A5 or $10.00 bill and it was just plain all coins and dollar bills..  I know things I learned things along the way and one of them is a generic cup full of coins that no one has picked out the quarters has about $20 in it and a gallon jug of pennies will have pretty close to $60.00 in it

there was one night we were celebrating something I don't know what and my children and I we're at the continental restaurant very nice restaurant and Saugus and the bill was $90.00 and we paid it in Dimes..

Our whole lives circle around my job with the one end...  not only the new magazines but the old return magazines were dropped off with me and they piled up big time.. however if you put a carton   of magazines in the fireplace and lit lit one corner in about 15 minutes it looked just like logs so to some degree we heated the house with want ads..

As life went on and on and on... computers entered the scene and I with 16 delivery people wrote myself a program to deal with the returns and the cash... Sudbury was where  the main office was.  also had some program to do the same thing however one day I was at a meeting with the president and the accountant who was supposed to be managing the southern version and he had about 1/2 an inch of that paper with the holes in the sides where he had run off a tremendous amount of information it was impressive and a great big pile and I had one piece of paper in my back pocket which told me everything I needed to know.. seeing as I was in blue jeans and he was in a blue suit with polished shoes and a briefcase he held far more weight than I did until I noticed something and said his report is all wrong I can't tell you why it's wrong but I can prove it's wrong right now and everybody said yes go ahead --- the magazine wholesale for $0.86 and his total at the bottom was an odd number ----can't happen

so based on that they started to use my system which did very well and started we started predicting future sales and therefore limiting the amount of books printed and it got to be very economical save them a lot of money.. it was also during that time that Mister grellier said I didn't know you had a college degree... I'd been working for them 19 years at that point I rarely made an appearance at the main office which is probably why I lasted so long..  I continued on doing just the computer work for $.04/copy  with Linda Murphy actually managing the sales and that worked very well too Linda Murphy lived in boxford and she still does she's a very funny lady and we had a good time doing it.

finally I backed out because eBay started and we all just died

my very favorite magazine story is from a day we had a Blizzard and I had to fill in for whoever was doing the Lowell Lawrence area--as I approached the cash register in a small variety store on route 38 I had to wait my turn because the store was full of kids that had no school so they're all going to the variety store to get some candy.. and the guy was being very nice and very helpful so I commented when I got up to the register Gee you're awfully nice to all these children and he commented "why shouldn't I be maybe half of them are mine."..

thus end of the story for a while..

IT DOES THIS SO I TRY AGAIN....

AND IT LEAVE OUT END WORDS....

We

DD 5 15

A PERFECT BABY DONKEY IS THE CUTEST BABY ANIMAL I KNOW OF....I WISH WE COULD GET HIM UP TO THE VERY GREEN GRASS BUT WE’D NEED AN ARMY TO GET PAST THE BARKING DOGS ON.  ”PUPPY HILL???”

I HAVE BEEN GIVING THE BANK ACCOUNTs THE ONCE OVER--- and can give you what I call my.  EA---eyeball acxcuracy on the goldys farm account to which you all support...aside from being sure we have all++++ signs and no-----there  are points which could  be vulnerable...—the most obvious is teh charge card.. now pleeeeeease I am only looking for odd things and do not get me into “where is the receipt for the $18.22 spent at tractor supply....” ( it is probably in the shoe box labeled misc rect”)  I look for odd things .. and I do look for percentages not  accounting accuracy...

Heres some of my thoughts...   #!, for once—there is no starbucks !!  or any food...—and  tho once in a while there might be a reason, on general principals we do not consider coffee a logical expense...)

I always look at the gas expense.. regardless of what you say you cannot fill your car's gas tank twice in the same day or even 2 days.... So in April we charged about $3000 on that credit card or actually debit card---  of that almost half was from the Co-op which is where we get hay when we run out..  and some grain – not usually dog food--- for some reason they do sell purina..  and maybe a minimum amount of hardware.. We had two vet bills that we charged one was for horses or equines it would probably for the pregnant donkey..  and the other one was for the new puppy—noodle-- Both OK--  most frequent use was to trackor supply...   their supply for under $30--which will be just generic supplies of some kind because even a bag of dog food is $90.00..  Having chewy deliver a bag of dog food is $92 .44 regardless of what they say in their advertisements.  There were four charges for gasoline one of them in North Carolina which would be Janine. The other three totally understandable.  there are times when I offer a tank of gas to a volunteer if they've been using their car for farm chores..  and one of those 3 was mine. going to senior livings. Which is about all I do anyway..

on the topic of keeping track of our entire project “cloud “certainly wins the blue ribbon with her keeping the details straight I hope I can copy and paste that for everybody's perusal--all those visits involved my car—

HOPEFULLY THAT PRINTED.... 3085 PEOPLE SO FAR  SINCE SHE STARTED KEEPING TRACK...

Now \those are  respectable numbers.  And it is only may!!!  I said 100 people a week.

Interesting that danvers and Peabody have an overload of facilities. And they are technically closer thaN the other  end of Ipswich !!

One comment on the puppy detail... noodle spent yesterday y with kate who has a dog running service—and he ran 6 miles with her... she also noted he was the smartest pup she had ever seen... I do not doubt that for a minute... he is SHARP .   ( WHICH CAN BE EXHAUSTING )

TODAY??   WOBURN—VERIZIONS.. A CUMMINGS PLACE...( MR,  CUMMINGS IS A VERY GENEROUS RESIDENT OF WOBURN)

Dd 5 14. bbaby day!!!

baby donkey 2am...

the mic really it picks up everything \I just had to warn everybody I was going to dictate the daily doggy and it does pick up everything==== last night was an extremely exciting night um the the baby donkey was born without too much effort on our part Elizabeth was down there when I got there and we did remove the sack from the face and since the back legs were still in the mother we did give a little pull to get that all out and laying there and then we left her alone to solve the rest of it by herself um which she's done very well I left when it was still lying down because Janine was arriving and the big thing is don't touch the head nature has instructed baby animals to go toward whatever touches their head which is when they're looking for the ****** to nurse so that if you try and force the babies face toward the ****** the baby will try and go toward your hand and not the ****** this is a constant problem with all baby animals people figure they're helping and they're not you can put your hands on the rear end and push in the right direction maybe but it's almost better to leave the whole thing alone they manage these are wild animals and they do manage even baby puppies manage um and baby children don't touch the head when you're trying to have them nurse..

that was problem one a problem too was trying to feed the dogs at 7:00 in the morning we were minus the dog food the puppy food and we keep it in one of those big milk cans and I know we used it yesterday it's usually behind my desk and we're going to find it the damn thing is what 3 feet tall 2 feet tall you know what's a milk can and turns out in the process of going down to watch the baby being born Elizabeth husband nick grab the milk can for me to sit on how else could we possibly lose something that size but we've have now found it thankfully.

now aside from that you're we have a new person here today what did you what did you huh Marie Marie is here working with Judy today to get broken in um and that's where we are at the moment I have a lahey appointment early this morning and then we have an appointment at Gardner which is that very nice assisted living place in Danvers or Peabody I don't know which that we've been to quite a bit it's where larkey identified that woman with diabetes that we ended up putting in the newspaper and that's what's planned for the day

moving on

i am having computer #$%^&*(). why it does that i do not know....

so much easier... It would be also nicer if I had electric wire around the whole thing to go with the fence I watched in fear that yesterday as lucky just charged the fence and went right through it it's a very light chicken wire that's surrounded right now but rather than put the electric fence around if I just charge the electric collar we'll have to sit there and hit him once or twice with the collar and I think that would cure that problem and we can use that on anybody else that needs training only problem is you have to sit there and watch it---- once or twice we'll do it.

The cup part is pretty well cleaned up for these people to walk around...  or even better to take a doggie and walk around we might conceivably need a small load of stone dust down at the lower end but other than that the path is pretty good...   as I surveyed it on my golf cart...

Now that we are out and around more we have to cut down the traffic in the driveway. so my first choice of the day

is to go out and see how the gate is anyway the gate number one I don't know whether we're gonna get around to gate #2 which would also be nice to have just to keep the different kinds of dogs separate that would give us 3 distinct dog pastors with the bond doesn't quite take the place of the dog runs that were demolished well the six foot fence was removed,, But at least there will be something. with the three kennels and the nut house having had their fencing removed, and then having the deagle house being gutted for what reason I don't know and now had a tree in it... we are severely hampered in our generic handling of animals so we need to get all that functioning again.

so outside day it is

go figure

Our first bunch of visitors from a daycare facility came out here yesterday.. in a bus from rainbow daycare in Peabody --there were ten of them.    We as a group---that would be Janine Elizabeth and me--when from utter panic sheer relaxed capability..

if you're going to compare goldie's farm with Disney World we're not gonna make it however the relaxed atmosphere and simple enjoyment is what these people want and need and yesterday they had it..  the dogs my dogs were loose those were the dogs they had seen in their daycare so that was fun then I had them take those dogs around our pond which took the best part of 1/2 an hour but they enjoyed the whole trip and from there we went to the swing set where it was a huge hit and there we went to say the donkeys up at the gate there there again very nice.. they then sat and had lunch and very carefully picked up all their trash got back on the bus and left.,.

This is exactly what I want to promote is the casual self-sufficiency have groups of people and all I am willing to provide and able to provide is a farm which at times is a working farm sometimes working at things that are not necessarily attractive but it is an experience regardless of what's going on.

changes I would have made for that day/?

the trip around the pond was just an afterthought It will give everybody something to do quickly while we figure out what else is going on but it turned to be the highlight or one of them of the trip fresh air water frogs whatever things they hadn't had before.. I had planned on having them go into the barn to see the pregnant donkey in her stall so that they could take home the image where she would be having the baby plus all the smells thousands of a barn--  the swing set how can I describe ----it really made Elizabeth think we should put up a second one which is definitely the case overlooking the pond would be an excellent place for another swing set people sat on it and swung for a long time and just didn't get off they just relaxed there.. thanks to chip and his engineering and welding skills it was one of our biggest attractions.. who knew????

well I knew a bit..  I am also very convinced that perfection is expensive plus it is confining it's entertaining only to people who are impressed with perfection what it lacks casual reality and sometimes it's not as much fun..

to that end I am suggesting possibly another swing set chip if you could at least give us those two angled pieces at the top I can do the rest--I also suggested that when they come if they go around the pond they get a star to put on their chart back home when they get enough stars they get a monkey fist or whatever or whatever that doesn't cost a lot  money at any rate--  from my experience with other groups who were thrilled with the smell of the manure pile, I did think a trip to the barn  with its distinctive barn odors.. should be part of the trip..  lunch is always going to be a do-it-yourself but quite possibly it is it could have a fire barbecue involved totally do it yourself but available.

That was all really good news/

to be mixed with the fact that when we went into the facility in Danvers the day before apparently one of the dogs moved his bowels before going in the door neither Carly nor I saw it so it didn't get picked up and they complain try don't blame them we should have seen if there had been three of us it would have been seen but we had you know two dogs and a puppy and we had our hands full..our animals were more than a big hit !!!

the good part of that with it or the interesting part is a the administrator came out to play with lockie who very quickly said this guy's got funny armpits..  he said he'd never been diagnosed with diabetes... and I tried to explain that the dog was pretty reliable so far --something was odd and it wouldn't hurt if he checked with his doctor.

And we move along....thank you for all the henny pennies that make it possible...

Fri, May 10 at 6:37 AM
a letter to the pig company !!!

Sometime in the past 20 years,  someone --maybe one of your employees --donated a roll of your wonderful Flooring.
That roll of stickyback worked its way into the hearts and minds of all who worked here to prepare and donate the 200 great Danes as service dogs for not only our veterans, but many young children with mobility issues..
Perfect traction- with easy cleanup- for not only young puppies but older retired dogs.

I now find myself as one of those older retired dogs whose family thought it was time for me to retire. I prefer to think I have been repurposed.. instead of training service dogs , I now use all the dogs in my care to amuse and entertain people in daycare centers and nursing homes..  Easily meeting our goal of seeing over 100 people a week.

I am sorely missing your sticky back flooring, as our #1 repurposed, but working dog jumped  down off a tall bed and slipped on the hardwood floor.
Her remaining slight limp is constant reminder that I miss having your pig flooring as a critical part of the equipment needed to properly handle from 4 to 50 dogs.

They tell me I am no longer a service dog trainer, but I am gainfully donating my time to provide some amusement to people who are confined by health, finances, geography, family responsibilities,   or just  plain “old age”.... My expenses – (gas,  and dog food) are covered by public donation as  I am once again considered a 501C3 charity..  #93 134 4392- I totally understand that you have a payroll to meet and that takes cash--- but is there any way I can offer the use of my great Danes, or a miscellaneous collection of horses donkeys chickens and goats.. in any commercials you might be filming, ---- because my other “calling” was to provide all kinds of animals for movies and commercials filmed in New England in the past 30 years. And...... I just happened To own a merry go round pig...
Someone just donated one matt- which is a wonderful start- is there anything I can do to earn a roll?

How can you tell you've gotten old it's when you look at the date and compare it to when the Social Security checks will clear  your bank---  that's how

I'm sure I'm going to eventually end up in jail however couple of years ago for an extremely complicated reason I stopped and looked at the bill from the accountant which was about $750 to do my income tax when I only have two sources of income and aside from donating too much to one charity or another it's been a very simple income tax form to fill out so I should be able to do that.... especially   On their easy tax form... however if one simple question arises and you look for help you got a problem...  I was advised to take all my information and go into Copley square on a Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 and there was there were desks set up for help with tax forms... I can't think of a better place in the world or an easier place to get to for somebody who's over the age of 64 in Copley square at 4:00 in the afternoon so I wrote back to them and said to them that I was 86 and couldn't even think about getting into Copley square at any any day of the week and they wrote back and said well hang in there we'll get to you basically well I'm hanging... and I know that I'm gonna hang a lot better it's like basically send the money and not worry about the paperwork which I have done before and I'm doing it now I have that letter that tells me.." wait they'll give they'll help me with the paperwork".  but if they don't, i  have a copy of it I may end up in jail anyway so be it----- the only paperwork I know how to fill out which I've done for years is extending the deadline which was extending the deadline for paperwork you still have to send the money I just thought I'd let you all know when they come calling for  me.

I cannot think of a publication more complicated and relatively useless then the IRS instructions for  trying to file your income tax...  In my history.  back 50 years or so--- I have taken all kinds of accounting courses but the more useful  one was supposed to be one given by H&R block which allowed you to call yourself some sort of tax expert.. Now it is so complicated I can equate that to my title of Canine good citizen inspector from the AKC/=== Or heaven forbid just plain dog trainer.

Speaking of dog trainers Katie took noodles out with her group of five or six dogs which she exercises daily by jogging them through the woods various Massachusetts parks and yesterday it was a park in Gloucester and she took noodles and we have a wonderful picture of doodles nearly submerged in just plain mud having a delightful time off lead somehow ===he comes when he's called  he's learned that much from me any rate he had a wonderful time wallowing... she apparently knew of a fairly clearly running stream before she got back to her car so she let him play in the stream be sure she brought him home it wasn't too bad when he got home all there are a few crusted spots of crap he had a wonderful time he will make a super dog for somebody--  probably not me --I believe we have three people now who want him in the mean time he's gotta work the daycare centers with the rest of us.

he's a funny dog.. but my nerves are far more suited to the Great Dane puppy I also have and thanks to several other people the Great Dane puppies that are still out there waiting to be adopted

so life goes on. and on and on.

my latest naughty notice is 3 harlequin danes in mass... that would give me a replacement pair for siz and larkey assuming i last that long .

the difference in these two dogs is amazing noodle is so full of energy and so alert then I don't think it could possibly be a Newfoundland anywhere in his bloodline he's gotta be just border collies sort of thing... and the new pup ZD is a Dane she's happy to lie down and fall asleep almost anywhere and can easily entertain herself with whatever twigs and rope she finds lying around Carly no not Carly Kate took noodles out with her running group yesterday and said she did famously.

Kate who put together and runs what's now known as the Tanner barn out behind the arena does some basic dog training not here but around and apparently jogs or runs a bunch of dogs on a daily basis a good four or five miles and she took noodles with her yesterday he came back very pleased.. But I have had to separate the two because noodle is just too much dog for eight week old Ziti... I finally ended up giving ziti her own sleeping quarters basically under the knee hole of my desk which worked out very nicely . A little water a little food and they both just wiped right out.

I will continue to take one or both to the nursing homes with me let's see what works out best.. I doubt having the two of them roughhouse would be would it I doubt it would be entertaining and furthermore it would be tough on Z. Noodles behaves beautifully on a leash so if I did take both I could keep him controlled that way. I don't know we'll see.

Judy is gone for a week maybe --  she really does such a super job in these adult daycare centers..  it's like you wind her up at the door and she just rattles on and keeps everybody smiling and happy and the dogs running around and eating cookies now the frying pan so he really has found her calling in that one and I am still shocked and amazed at the number of people who are in charge of a facilities activity an activities director the one yesterday was no exception absolutely thrilled with any help she could get from anybody to keep the whole group entertained it's a tough call there's certainly a need for some creative thinking in that regard

 I'll work on it.

Ok... we h ave a perfect comparison of two puppies and why you should really look into what the bloodlines have been bred for.. that doesn't make either one wrong it just makes them extremely typical ----we have noodles who I can practically guarantee you is not the Newfoundland but rather some kind of herding  dog sheepdog sort of thing.. where is ziti is a Dane.

at 4:00 I got up let the two of them out on the deck fed them a good meal.. and then tried to get them to settle down which zi was happy to do crawl in with sizzle and take a nap however noodles was on a tear literally ignore up the yoga mat and ate some of it dragged around all the dishes he could find including a glass heavy duty glass thankfully water dish that I had given ziti. and finally after about two hours I finally had noodles sleeping my feet and ziti was sleeping with sizzle but it took a long time to get there and then Judy arrived.. and noodles was ready to fly again...   somewhere way back at least ten days ago I made the statement the two great Dane pups would be easier to handle then one of noodles whatever he is.

I think we've now proven that..  it doesn't change much we still have a job for noodles . but we definitely have the picture of what type home he should graduate into.--he will need a home with a good supply of tennis balls... unless we can find some job which would make use of his peculiar talent of being able to pick up any metal or glass object in his teeth...

you gotta go with what you got---  like Elizabeth came in last night and larkey nearly bowled her over trying to sniff her ----clearly identifying the fact that her blood sugar was not where it was supposed to be... he was insistent---because now that I know what he's saying I praise him for doing it whereas 6 months ago it was annoying for him to rush up to someone dry and sniff their armpits so I would scold him. Now I understand what he is saying—and can make use of that knowledge.... plus he is more confident in poking that nose...

There is so much going on around here that there is no earthly way I could let you know or try to keep you informed of everything.  somebody want to know why I hadn't gotten in my golf cart to go down and look at the pregnant mommy.. Sounds so simple except my golf cart died and needed recharging.. in a place a couple 100 feet from the nearest electrical outlet.. so I needed to find a couple heavy duty extension cords to be able to get that thing charged up--not a simple task in a place in turmoil with stuff all over the place.

And a quick note on quickpicks--- last week someone questioned a number—which listed me as owner because it was really a quick pick for a person who’s name I don’t know—but who gave me a 100 dollar bill—so I will hand carry her winning monkey fists to her...

In the meantime – I better get on the making of those “zipper pulls”.  Between winners and betsy’s shop I need a better supply !!

DD 5 6

We are now a 2 puppy project at the moment um noodles is today going to be more respectful of ZITI ---you often heard me say you get what you expect out of a dog and it's time I expected better behavior from him SO he could no longer just hop on her and knock her over

Aside from everything else it is slightly dangerous he's twice her size at the moment--- wait till next week...  I've had two people want information about the any puppies still available from that breeder and I will give it to them probably put it in here nick is getting it for me I have to warn you it is the junkiest place I have ever been and believe me I've been in a lot of junkie places maybe the dog come tumbling out the front door adult pile of stuff that contains like all kinds of valuable things to be have around here everybody's taking a vote that I should not be able to go back to the place because it really looked like fun but in a way in the back I didn't see an ambulance you know there's there are things that there are parts of things that are fun too you know you certainly had them all over the place I don't know either terrible housekeeper or whatever he is he is totally devoted to his bunch of dogs he has three adults and eight puppies..

I really believe the mother there's probably a blue she's certainly not black.... I did not see the father who he said was black I did see the grandfather who was Harlequin but we have bred a black dog to a blue dog would have given them all black puppies which is what they have if that black dog had been a black out of a blue mother I would think he would have had one or two blue puppies I did not see any so my guess is the black is actually a black out of Harlequin which might explain the odd collection of white toes feet chest that they all have at any rate.... this pup can stand on our back feet with the best of them I have seen her extend her back legs to indicate probably no hip dysplasia according to my father   and the pen hip exam..   so we bash onZITI

having two puppies certainly achieves the goal of the physical therapist who hounded me when I first got out of the hospital about getting up and sitting down getting up and sitting down to increase my leg muscles well I certainly have to do that now..... between the puppies and the lasix I'm getting all kinds of exercise.

and I am spoon feeding----at the moment correctly you see them sitting in front of me there's no barrier or fence between us they can do as they please but if they sit still they're going to get fed what you can't see over my shoulder his lackeys sitting on the bed waiting for his mouthful too.... so I just ran through 1/4 of a can of purina canned food I think it's labels normal ground or something like that---critical because it sticks to the spoon better don't get the shredded kind you spill too much and the dogs end up getting it off the floor which defeats the purpose of your feeding them in the first place---- gotta stick to the spoon

hello there's Jodie there's Jody I'm I'm here OK time to take I I'm I'm I'm trying to get out the daily doggy I'll do that and then OK I'll do that and you're coming here OK bye bye that's Judy

Uh there's what I talked about yesterday where conversation in the room gets captured on the daily doggy and instead of wiping it out I'll just leave it there that was the quote call from Judy reminding me to take my pills which I will now go and do.
