i found an old picture..this is of jade- getting her dipl;oma----
I have forgotten the exact details I think she had a service dog of ours that developed a cancer or something.... She was devastated of course but also she had always wanted to walk up on the stage and get her diploma... I think I found this out 5 days ahead of the graduation... and I had a house dog...”pistol.” just might work -----I can remember taking that dog to Beverly and getting on a train to Boston.. then getting on the next trade back again.. Pistol did very well.. I went to Leahy clinic with her. walked up the stairs and then down the elevator came home basically gave pistol to jade and said good luck.. and this photo is the picture of jade doing perfectly well in the crowd getting Jade’s diploma.. I took a very deep breath when jade was going up that ramp she tripped and pistol caught her and got the diploma regular like clockwork..
There was more to the pistol story than just that piece.. it was back before I decided that puppy raising was bad... and I had given pistol to a family in L lynfield to raise. As a breeding dog?--- they had a bunch of kids--I've forgotten why but for some reason they had to return the pup to me.. And I just continued with her education normally. during which she spent time with jade who then gave her back to me .. About two years later, one dark and stormy night a woman knocked on my door.... said she was just driving by and had to stop in say hello because she was the one that it had pistol as a young pup.. when pistols saw her come in the door she absolutely exploded she was so thrilled to see that woman back in her life that right then I had no choice than to say to her “would you like to have her back again” and she did want her back==== they left ---- with everyone in happy tears.... ------pistol demonstrated to me that once they're bonded you don't break it because it was apparent to me that for the last couple of years she basically had been looking for that woman------unfortunately I forgot everybody's name except pistol. after that I never did anymore puppy raising. They don't forget.
