 may 3 2023

now judy will not be in- not to pass on any medical information-- but i immediately thought....;???? MY REFRIGERATOR????   but she thought ?WHOLE FOODS?  I ALWAYS WARN PEOPLE  TO CHECK DATES ON THINGS IN MY FRIDGE,,, THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE  MAINTAINING THE CONTENTS  of my fridge to be reliable.

SHE CAN TAKE teh time off-- we have already made out 100 people patting for the week.... yesterday pulling  into the senior center, the animal control officer was pulling out -- so i pulled in front of her, blocking her way and opened the window so larkey could show is face...  she laughed--- thanfully-- and then joined us to watch what we do---i discussed it at great legnth for about the hour we were there...  from crowd reactions to the dogs and the dogs lack of reaction to much of anything except "working the crowd".   without collars... because people grab them and hang on-- my dogs are safer without them,

ALL I HAVE planned  today is at least one hay trip-- which i am told could be put in our loft here and shuttled to meridith-- because even if we unload there it still has to get in a pickup to go to the various pastures-- i have watched the hay 'elevator' and i lifts one bale every 7 seconds to the loft... where you do need a second person to untangle the pile--- my guess is carlie and mike might get one load of 80 bales done in less than 20 minutes.  to save $450 is not bad  per hour saving...  rain is maybe for tomorrow -- getting hay wet that will be fed out right away is not a problem.....
as a matter of fact-----fyi..... many big stables have a watering can to dampen the hay after fluffing it up to reduce the dust--- causing possible "heaves"
which is some complication of  hardening of the little air places in the lungs.... incapacitating.... incurable..sometimes fatal...  those big round bales are often dusty in the middle-- it does not seem to bother goats and donkeys-- but horses shove their faces into those bales...

so we are onto another hay month. ....my many thanks to all  who bought a bale to get us thru april... so if you can... have  at it ... with another  $10 bale or two.  for may.  www.memsaic.com/haybale. so far mo has moved back here-- and i hope to be able to let her loose around the place... and maybe blondie if we ever get her here... back to what trailer is where with what plate and ?electrical connection......... the normal horse trailer is in so carolina. and janines big beautiful gooseneck needs a door welded.... it is always something...and on top of it all they expect me t o get the little 1 inch sticker on the right vehicle......YEARLY...
you people think managing all this is easy???? organizing these trailers is like herding cats...

why doesn't the second cuppa coffee taste as good as the first?

training a dog to eat a cookie... does not take long !!
