Well... that worked ! I could not begin to accomplish having 2 phones put out mail call.. with sounds and questions.. you would have lost me at the first “whoops” of many that I heard while they—mostly Janine....figured out the logic of what would accomplish what---- with the deadline of 5pm when she had promised to have Pastas sister meet Pasta on camera. i am told. 1400 watchers...
Managing my 3 big dogs and wanda presented a different level of confusion... but she made it. And delivered. It apparently showed a count of several hundred people per phone who staggered thru the labyrinth of the internet to find how to see a mail call in it’s original form... for once , all I could do was sit there ! it was wonderful not to even know where or when to worry. that process will get better.... we have 2 proper cameras to hopefully be installed by janine and friends on sunday,,
The introduction of PASTA TO HIS SISTER whom he had not seen in a month. Was interesting... first of all... she is much bigger although they are both eating the same purina puppy food.... she apparently gets fed more regularly than Pasta.. probably it is the lunch meal that I sometimes forget to give him—although he does get a small 5 am meal.... discussion of “don’t let her get any heavier” along with he gets so much more exercise trying to keep up with lachey../
She did not recognize Pasta at first as he ran over licked her face and ran around to the business end of a dogs discussion. She was offended—and it took a few minutes before they both went into the proper “bitey face” of siblings behavior. Rolling and tumbling off the sofa.. etc..
All was perfect until lachey came in and she flew backwards saying “what the heii is that big white thing?” – from which in the remaining 20 minutes she did not recover- slinking out the door past the “big white thing”.
They are going to join us for the senior visits--- I bet people will love to watch the interaction of “the pups” .we will work on that....
she will have to learn to “ go eat a cookie”. Probably not too challenging a training session.
Now for a different topic----- money saving plans
That arena—and the use thereof.....
Couple Months ago I found I could rent the arena to someone else (ern)and thereby cut down SDP’s cost of renting this place.. so out of my own pocket.... I spent many thousand $$ on heavy plywood, pressure treated 4x6’s and many loads of chemical plus stone dust to cover the increasing urine smell which by July would have been unbearable.. so what have I got? Go have a look...... I watch that camera--- it is usually empty...twice a day dogs are fed there—........one is fed at a time. mostly—sometimes 2—with usually 2 people managing them..... in my expensive expansive 80 x 60 “arena"?----- Is all that necessary?? .
I know the decision is not mind to make.. but I am a donor and I have to question how my donations are spent/. That is why charTIES ARE required to file a 990 form yearly with , I thought , the attorney general’s office.....these 990’s give exact details of expenses. From payroll to vet bills... maybe I don’t know where to look... but I cannot find any current 990’s .... if you find them please let me know.
also in an effort to save money..... I could rent the house too and save charity a very large sum of money as it is just used to store a huge quantity of “stuff” in the cellar.... Which could be stored lots of other places... that would include storing me somewhere else also—and I don’t mind. I would not be “thrown out “ really , it just seems to make sense to me to get out of this house. And rent it.... .. saving money usually makes sense..
