the hurrier i go the behinder i get.our crazy mail call made it to friday
as just a sit down /end of day relaxing unscripted conversation
which ( and this is a warning) can go anywhere. i mean...
we do try and remain civil and keep any opinions about
political , religious or dog food tempered...
to so many people dog food is a religion- i have had people tell me how
cruel and uncaring i am because i did not feed only raw chicken necks.
yes... i did have that conversation... the concept was promoted by
(you guessed it) somebody who had too many chicken necks.
i have fed purina for so long, if it was to be a problem it would have shown by now.
some of you may not have heard the bose radio story---
ustabe---30 years ago-- i was buying purina proplan wherever it was cheapest...
and they had a "program" for breeders and shelters where you could remove teh weight circle
and earn point to purchase "stuff"--
the most expensive "stuff " you could purchase was a bose tabletop radio...
all my friends and relatives had bose radios i had given them and i still had a few in my closet
when i happened to be on the phone with the charity division of purina,
i could honestly prove how devoted i was to purina because
of the number of bose radios i had received from them
\with that - he believed me -- and we have received 8 pallets of food every 2 months since..
i have been thru all the "oh the only thing i can feed my dog is seaweed and ground up peanut shells"
because they get a terrible skin rash....
"my dog can not eat corn... or. chicken... or wheat.. " but when these people go away and i feed
their dog the same as mine i have never seen a problem/
basic problem is-- to scientifically prove an allergy, you must switch on and off several times
otherwise you may just be letting mommy nature cure whatever the skin problem is
which you then attribute to the food.....
i think i know...( that's one for the books). there is some tiny may fly- or something
that often makes red bumps on the underside of .. particularly white dogs-- but then maybe i can't see it on black dogs.
so much for my lack of medical knowledge.
Somewhat akin to ---all my friends and relatives have monkey fist zipper pulls that I made-
so I have slowed production.. although a few do seem to be still wandering off the board...
