just when you think???? that vanilla icecream we love to cover with butterscotch is flavored by the anal glands of a beaver??? i have a problem with that internet gem.... even if most discoveries are accidental -- like pennacillin-----beavers are protected-- the entire beaver is protected-- anal glands and all-- so just who was messing about with the rear end of a beaver in order to discover...THE TASTE of what nature had in mind being used to label the piles of poo produced by each beaver for social reasons.
now to compare that accident with the penicillin- which was apparently noticing something odd in a petri dish--even the most imaginative person can not concieve of vanilla being found that way-- i thought it was beans-- vanilla beans... so i looked it up.. on said internet there is no mention of beaver butts.
just does not pass inspection in my book... but the internet is "full of it"
what i did discover is that in ancient egypt there was a custom of using moldy bread on wounds --- mold being the vehicle for pennacillin... that in itself makes me wonder who found that out-- can you see...in the heat of battle---" oh we have no bandages... here try this moldy. bread."
and if this stuff is going on all around us-- what on earth are we ignoring that we should be experimenting with... maybe ... because this daily doggie has in it both penicillin and beaver anal glands-- maybe we should be smearing the next laceration with beaver anal gland goo. i do know moldy bread would never occur to me either...

moving along.....
judy finally gave me her master list in excell spreadsheet form-- and i had a great time---- since we started 3487 people have patted and fed cookies to my dogs. granted it started a couple years ago with the burp of covid in the middle... we now try for 100 a week...and that is sustainable... we revearsed the process yesterday usually judy goes in andlocates a sitting place for me-- then i come in with the dogs.. yesterday at nearc i went in and sat.... i had staff hold open the 2 doors and get people out of the way, and judy opened the car door... all 4 dos flew in to where i was seated... it was spectacular and got every one laughing as they scrambled for cookies i threw on the floor. and quietly came and layed down.

is a work in process-- most videos are preplanned-- ours are seat of the pants-- you never know what direction they will go in-- elizabeth was there with her scottish accent... we wandered thru many topics for about 45 minutes.... i was told there werre over 500 people watching... i wish we had better handle on the questions and comments-- eventually we may-- but right now the whole thing is "in process" and i have to be allowed a day here and there to be tired...
