i just looked----ian is dribbling on toward us....to watch teh green radar drift 360 degrees around ipswich ? with only a sprinkle here???? how do they know that? ----it would be maddening if i. was sitting in a dust bowl of kansas looking at my corn crop withering..
guy on tv 4am news simply said. " time to re model" ---his house was 100% gone and a sizeable yacht was sitting there slightly tipped... so he had moved in. paper plates were still in the cabinet.
ok..... so if all this stuff was neatly piled into housing a month ago, and now the area is flat... where is the "go" that all the stuff went to? would anyone be able to identify a group of stuff that was your house? i doubt it.... so would this be a dump pickers dream if they would let you in..
i can see me now. "here's a nice hinge to hang that door in my hall... i wonder where. the other hinge is" or better yet. "here is a box of reciepts i can keep on hand if i am audited??? ( auditors love receipts)
i wonder.....only briefly did anyone address the " wildlife"---- in florida that would be monster snakes and alligators. and depending on salt or fresh flood.....? sharks?

i am curious...... but not curious enough to dig a 4 foot hole and see how far the current moisture goes --- it would mess up the parking area....

we no longer have chickens... here again ... i hesitate to say where the chicken went... no... it was alive and well.. and got deposited in. much greener pastures than ours where there were other egg layers.... and this was an egg layer---- no spring chicken, but an egg layer... hopefully the pasture owner will not notice ..or object... if it was a rooster. that would have been a naughty thing to do--altho......
i rememberr-- and i may have told this before... i needed a rooster for a movie filmed in harvard square - they wanted one plus 2 identical back ups
and they wanted a choice of 5 different kinds ( ok that is 15 but who's counting besides me.?) more?? then because they were filoming the restof the movie in toronto... the chosen 3 would need health certticficates...
ther are probably not 15 adult roosters in all of new england let alone matching ones... so where did that leave me?
shipping adult roosters from the hatcheries in wisconson... then going into some vet's office with 15 roosters saying i needed a blood test for them... --- finally. going thru the mystic river told booth at 4am with an suv of 15 roosters crowing .
this was when i decided it was time to retire from the movie business.... (?2000?)
the rest of that story.... i deposited ( threw ) one rooster out the window at each of the horse stables i knew about all the way home.. the last went to a farm which now sells apple pies--- and they have no idea where that rooster came from.

gwen is not here for my yearly family. stilt walk-- and besides i have one twisted and slightly uncontrollable right ankle so it will have to be put off... or discontinued.. to be decided later...
there is also some disagreement as to my age.... . i am told i was born in 1937.. i actually don't remember.
