continuing with  my first out of bed exciting chore today  open the package for a new glue gun and finish those 2 newly.. spliced leashes for recipients.  When amazon sent me 3 glue guns  when i ordered one.. Why would i ever need.....my old glue gun was  from lynnfield in 1979--- many many yards of glue stick had passed thru that pointy tip.. why keep the 3??  but i did---- i had not considered this. "AWAY" place. where perfectly useable goods get placed and then retired into oblivion.  so once again  a perfectly good project of new leashes.. may be completed because of my tendency to hoard.

well also mostly because judy has made organizing  the overflow room her special project.. now becoming carlene's project room... where some of the wierd things  i make might be considered for christmas....in addition to monkey fists--- there are the  matted frameable old pictures from the old calendars-- i still have plenty of the puppy breath vials--- bentley footprints-- in addition to the buckets of pebbles because my stone penholder project never got off the ground...

i thought of selling the pebble pen holders  as kits--- do it yourself---oh boy is the material cheap small bottle of glue (  "weld bond" --a glue which disappears when hardened) and a bunch of 1/4-1/2 inch  pebbles)----- if i remember i can show one at mail call.  i could also include on of those rounded rocks for painting ( those are the 9 tons i bought by mistake...). now  over filling  a drain-- so available......

because of the group of kids sent here by the dist attny's office? i went thru a phase of trying to find some project with no or very little initial cost... i thought i had it with those pebbles.. the holders were are cute... the place that donates buckets of the perfect size wanted 4 of them for their help !! and they all loved them !!  so I did turn a $3,50 tube into 4 penholders at  $5. Each.  $20----- But I. had no takers...

marbles into monkey fists does much better
