so many emails many regarding pam's delightful dance-- i do think it proper that we have a pam's dance just before the spirit parade.... at all future dogfests.... to be joined by all watching worldwide !! -- and for those wishing to "do something" -- all those $1 bills already sent to us at mail call have been enough to pay her final funeral expenses.. so replenishing that fund seems appropriate...the passing of pam was the passing of an era....
and the emails on foxes.... sooooo. many wanted me to know foxes can be out shopping for food for babies during the day... that is certainly true... however....... if they look at all strange... beware.... we did have one here in our arena.. long ago... animal control came and shot it.. sending the head to cornell to verufy it was rabid... what a mess of rabies shots( people shots) and quarentine.... so it is far easier to assume a problem than to blissfully say it is ok....

SUPPOSEDLY, RATS CAN’T EXPEL GAS (FART OR BURP). IF THEY EAT SOMETHING LACED WITH BAKING SODA IT CAUSES THEM TO BUILD UP INTERNAL GAS WHICH THEY CAN’T EXPEL LEADING TO THEIR DEMISE. (UNFORTUNATELY OR FORTUNATELY IT DOESN’T CAUSE THEM TO EXPLODE WHICH WOULD BE MESSY BUT QUITE A SPECTICAL TO SEE).
VANILLA CAKE MIX WITH EXTRA BAKING SODA ADDED IS SUPPOSED TO WORK GREAT AND WON’T LEAVE A POISONOUS DEAD RAT BODY TO ENDANGER ANY OTHER ANIMALS.
