science---school playgrounds shold be designed as lessons in science and physics.... may i go so far as to say that the lack of logical science even as young as grade school is detremental to the national mentality..... science is terrrifying to most every generic mother/ and certainly the teachers i knew as a kid... until i ran into MR BROWN. in high school-- known for being eccentric --- he climbed up an the table which meant he head almost hit the cieling-- as he proceeded to displaY THE CONCEPT THAT ANY WEIGHT NOT ON THE GROUND HAD POTENTIAL ENERGY TO DO WORK... THE FACT THAT SO MANY OF US HAVE BEEN CAREFLLY TRAINED TO AVOID SCIENCE IS NOW A HUGE PROBLEM WITH COV AND VACCINES... BUT EVEN WORSE... THERE ARE SOOOOO MANY COOKIE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE PUTTING FORTH IDEAS THAT ARE NOT WORTH THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON... EXCEPT THEY ARE NOT WRITTEN ON PAPER ANYMORE...THEY HAVE THE INTERNET TO CAREFULLY TRAAIN MINDS NOT TO TRUST ANYTHING ..
THE "I HEARD" EDUCATION IS RAMPANT AND DEVASTATING .
I GOT TO THINKING ABOUT SEE SAWS FOR KIDS-- NORMAL SEE SAWS ABOUT 24 INCHES OFF THE GROUND...
BOY THOSE CAN BE TERRIBLE FOR THE KIID WHO HAS FRIENDS INCLINED TO JUMPO OFF.. NOW IN SCHOOL YARDS.... I WOULD HAVE A VERY STRONG BOARD.. WITH ABOUT A 6 INCH FULCRUM.. AND TEH GAME WOULD BE TO GET ENOUGH KIDS ON LOCATIONS ON TH AT BOARD TO "BALANCE" IT... IT WOULD BE A GAME WITH A GOAL, TEAMWORK AND NO WINNER OR LOOSER-- AND IT WOULD PAINLESSLY TEACH SOME SCIENCE... LEVERS.
MY KIDS HAD A FLYING SAUCER-- 2 circle PIECES OF PLYWOOD WITH A CAR SPRING BETWEEN THEM... IT WAS TOUGH FOR ONE KID TO GET ON IT.. BUT THEY SPENT TIME TRYING TO GET 2 OR 3 ON IT... IT WORKED.
RAther than set up a classroom for dry dull science education.. i wonder how many physical principals cou e be at least started/demoed in recess time. pendulums as swings??? s.. come on ... there are engineers out there..

zoom meetings--- i just did a zoom with a vet hospital in california-- they did not have internet access.. and the zoom seeded to work well
why there is a vet hospital with a dozen men sitting around that does not have access to at least the explore cameras .. is terrible.
maybe i need to get on a horn about that one???

IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS NURSING HOMES, SCHOOLS AND HOSPITALS HAVE REQUEST THERAPY DOGS TO START VISITING AGAIN. TUMBLER WENT TO HER FIRST HOSPITAL VISIT ON TUESDAY. I WONDERED HOW SHE WAS GOING TO REACT TO NEW SOUNDS, SMELLS AND NEW HOSPITAL ESPECIALLY NOT VISITING ANY FACILITIES SINCE COVID. ....SHE WAS SPOT ON. FROM PARKING GARAGE, POLICE DIRECTING TRAFFIC, LOTS OF PEOPLE COMING AT HER FROM ALL DIRECTIONS, ELEVATORS AND DIFFERENT SOUNDS, SHE SEEMED TO ENJOY HERSELF AND SHE WAS A BIG HIT. EVERYONE WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HER CALM DEMEANOR AND OF COURSE CUTE LOOKS !!!! I AM SO SO GRATEFUL FOR HER AND PROUD HOW SHE IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN HER OWN WAY !!!!! GOOD GIRL TUMBLEWEED !!!!
