i could write a really interesting daily doggie.. except for these 4 catagories
1 you shoudn't write about that-
2. you must not wriet about that
------or the reeally interesting ones...
3. i shouldn't write about that
4. i must not write about that
doesn't leave a lot--  but i will manage til  Birnam wood comes to Dunsinane.

Out of control animals- who knew that  in australia there is a 100 foot long worm-- sea going- but technically a worm.. more astounding there is a worm that lives in northern canada on and in the ice glaziers - the  creative canadians have that under control- teh put one in a bottle/?glass? of whiskey like teh mexicans do with tequila.

let me be more correct-- the mexicans used to put a worm in  the bottle with tequila   but the authorities... in thier great wisdom  decided that should not be done.. so they put a picture of teh worm on the label just to keep the advertising people happy-
then there is the pigs...no one wants to talk about the problem of teh wild pigs- the ubiquitous wild boar --- but they are slowly moving northward-   basically a pig is a huge rat... very intelligent, can live almost anywhere and eat most anything  from pizza to tulip bulbs.  historically they way they got going  is, since they ae strong, and creative, probably --- one ot two normal farmers pigs got loose- and since one was a boy and the other a girl-- quick come baby pigs--?how quick? three months +three weeks+three days- wiht large litters and a hearty lifestyle, they flurish.
i can go either way next-- mosquitos or humans.- humans are by far a bigger problem- from when the bible said lust was going to be a problem,-- it is actually the  result of all that lusting that is causeing all the amber waves of grain to be replaced by little houses on that prairie- that are no longer little, but 3 storey condos built from what used to be forests in our rocky mountains...

careful as i can be, my one little bag of trash produced  weekly by my sleeping in the one room i have as mine, in actuality  becomes the river of trash in the photo of   lebanon ( that is worth  a google)

Eve struggled earlier this week with walking - frigid weather?? I don’t know - the more I try to figure it out the more I figure out that I never will! None the less she made up for it today! Walked in and out of the chiropractor- in and out of the massage therapist including a ramp, in and out of the police dept including stairs ( don’t judge 🤣 to pay a parking ticket I apparently don’t have- no wonder I never saw the actual ticket) and in and out of Walgreens with only 2 breaks! Said she had mostly no pain - just tired legs  and a little pain in her heels ( that one is new) in Walgreens. Man do I LOVE not lugging that wheelchair in and out of the car!!

My journey with Rocco.. So far..

I’m amazed every time Rocco and I start our day.. I frequently think back to how I moved around before I brought him home to live with Carol and me in July of 2017. I use to struggle with a cane or walker to do everything outside our house. Every bump in the road, gravel, grass, hill, stairs, etc. was a challenge and always made me think if it was worth the struggle to go anywhere.

I’m happy to report since Rocco and I became a team that I haven’t used any of the assistive devices I came to rely on. Funny story about the first time I realized how important Rocco is to me in my daily life. I took Rocco to the groomer not just for his nails and ears but for a bath. That was the first time I realized I couldn’t walk out to my car by myself. It made me chuckle as I sat down to wait until Rocco was ready to go home.

We went to Florida the last 2 winters and he was amazing as we travelled by car and plane. I always get praise from the folks we interact with whether at a concert, out to dinner, at plays or anything else we do together. An amazing moment for me was the first time I was able to walk on the beach last year in many years.

Just last summer my son was married and Rocco was by my side when my wife and I walked him down the aisle. We even got him a black tie for that special day. He continues to be a great help to me on a daily basis.

Rocco is always aware of what I’m doing and when he sees me struggling to walk he walks up to my side to help. Amazing.

I can’t wait to see the next adventure we have in store!
