ok... now to get running off on some other tangent-
if atzeimer patients can remember thing s like old songs--- how can i get my "alexa" to play  broadway songs in these dismal rehab daycare centers...
then judy and i could be "the cheerful notes"
if properly inspired my voice has been compared to ETHYL MERMAN.

FOR THOSE youngsters in the group. -- ethyl was famous for not needing a microphone even if she  got off a bit. she would bash on---and most important--------Merman amassed over 6, 000 performances in fourteen Broadway hit shows and Lloyds of London once said she had the highest rating for health and dependability of any actress in the American theater. In her role in Call me Madam, which spanned over six years, she never missed a performance.
Gotta love her...there's no business like show business--

The butcher, the baker, the grocer, the clerk
Get paid for what they do, but no applause.
aint that true ??????
******
so maybe judy and i can have some fun with that. and you all know i love broadway music----- what better gig than to sing at beverly home for the deaf???-- i am on it !!~
all of that is closely related to trying to get explore cameras on all those "smart "tv's... more tech help needed... any suggestions???

these places are at best... grim....reaping very little upbeat---- you can't blame anyone really--- try it yourself.... set your alarm to ring every 53 minutes... and when it goes off stand there and be creatively amusing for 7 minutes.
it is tough to impossible- yet this is the kind of thing the activities directors are expected to do...
it is not unlike trying to entertain a 3 year old child//.... i pitty some of those mothers too..
especially mothers who only have an appartment for source material.
i was exceedingly fortunate to have purchased a very nasty rooster who gave my children something to think about constantly as he guarded the door to our barn . i could. send the kids to the barn, knowing it was going to take them 1/2 hour to get past him.
the activities director yesterday had some screwup to deal with--- and we ended up in a very small library until the crowd heard the danes were there... and the hallway filled with walkers and wheelchairs--- and larkey at one point was totally out of sight of both me and judy--- the pup and jiminey had our attention... but he was super-- just absorbing all the pats he could til we could break thru.. it was one of those times. if he had been dragging a leash we could have had a major disaster....------bless him !
the good Lord looks out for damn fools and drunks.

this is how i took litters around to nursing homes so long ago
this was my old british pram
i wonder where it is now...
 it was good..
