having survived the vicious  attack by my reclining chair -- believe it or not... i am still sore from the struggle to get out of those puffy arm rests.....still here ... not fixed. got to invert it to. get the remote unplugged.  i am getting a lesson in Golden chairs... it is very hard to figure out  just who is what  online...

   it is a nice chair-- so everyone wants in on their name for repair parts etc.... so what else is new.? 

the photo is of  Pastas first real run with the. big dogs   mine plus carl and wanda. over those beautiful meridith fields.. he got about half way around and was happy to get  in the car---  how wanda lasts i do not know.  she can run jiminey  flat... and ....FYI lesson here--- those tiny legs just go at a steady trot  and last much longer than jiminey and larkey's galloooooping ,,,

wellll......  i am told.. by them as puts out miscellaneous information..... the fastest animal over a 30 mile course is a donkey.. other people have different renditions "slow and steady wins the race...." 

 speaking of meridith.......pocket is there..... and the photo is of her coming to my window  to have me scratch the bug bites from her ears ( a big delight for most equines-- grab an ear and scratch with a wad of hay string)

it is the grab an ear part that is significant..... so many times a donkey's --- and horses's---ears are used as "handles"  that most donkeys will not let you near them, she came to my window and i  scrutched the one closest to me...and then... she offered me the other ear by twisting her head around.... !!

i am sorry if having a donkey offer the other ear does not sound like much to you folk....but.....i was thrilled.

i do not know how that fits in with "turning the other cheek"
