soooo much sooo soon- i expect the lid to blow off the top at any moment..... in 20 years we have been in extremely odd places before--- "we did it before and we can do it again". was that world war 1 or 2?
16 pups....am i glad i never spouted on about "i never had a vet be able to count spines correctly beyojnd 3 or 4.." i've got to write down which vet did that..... lost a few... that is normal--- and you camera people have learned sooooo much-- i don't think we had any complaints about stillborns being caused by cell phone usage... i did go see them-- they all look good... and sizzle was fascinated with the smell of my clothing when i got back...
thank you all for your concern for my health and well being.....
i am glad you all got in a swivet about my eating oatmeal cookies for breakfast-- i thought that was a great bkfst... better than the chinese food and key lime pie. which was my other option.... i have a great deal going.... i now have 2 drivers usually hanging around here..... and the deal is i pay... you pick up- been working fine !!
janine is apparently back from a fairly normal horse auction--- not the one where they sell meat horses.....she usually goes to new holland penna for any horse--
fyi--- all you folk expecting to get into horse ownership any day now..... you can look up ( google ) horse auctions--- where they catalogue some of the horses-- with vet facts and comments-- or the straight meat auctions where they are selling just for meat...........she was at lebanon for riding horses. that have been vetted to some degree--- all auctions are a crap shoot--- buying any horse is a crap shoot.... that perfectly vetted horse from canada ended up having a long acting tranqualizer--- this is unusual.......horse auction people are different.... they like to be able to say "hit 4 on the ground with sight and air". i.e.. not lame and can see and breathe... and if you get caught pulling something like that the auction will pull things... like forget to put your horse in the auction ring.
i think she ( and elizabeth) "dropped their load at meridith where one of the pastures is isolated enough to be considered quarentine---- horse auctions are--- health wise-- the kindergardens of the horse world....
here is mo-- 3 years after she was not expected to live over the winter because of poor shape and "choke".
