a funny  email. to start the day----- remembering......
Hi Carlene! This is Rebecca Welsh! Hope all is well with you! Barbara Lee from the Herrick House in Beverly, MA will be contacting you for a visit with your Great Danes. My mom is 97 and resides there. She would love to see you and the dogs! I will never forget all the amazing times working for you: taking Mayor Menino around Boston on a sleigh driven by the donkeys! Herding swans in the Boston Public garden for the movie Good Will Hunting, driving the animals to North Andover in a blizzard for the nativity scene, trying to get a photo with you of a bull in a field for Merrill Lynch…and so many more! All the best! Rebecca

and there is more to the story than that.... she was one of janine's friends who would just dig in and get done whatever needed doing---and in the movie business you just never knew.... that episode with robin willliams and the swans was typical...leaky canoe and all
and----- i had just thought of her lately because..........she got into the business of making hats.... felt hats-- and if you can not imagine a funny felt hat costing $800 that is because you never saw one of rebecca's hats-- what she can do with a bunch of ?wool? is shocking.... and betsy-- with her super jewelery /gift store in ipswich----- rebecca is the only person i know of the artistic quality of betsy's store... and i wanted them to get in touch with each other...and now will....BETSY !!!!! PAY ATTENTION.
( SHE READS THIS)
so judy ... "we must away to the herrick house". behind the beverly hospital...

it is odd... but there are some people... and dogs... that just ring some bell.... the job at the rehab at 62 and 128--- about 40 people. but there were two men in the crowd.... one stayed behind to specially thank us for larkey's attention to him.... and another guy- came in late absolutely dismal is the only word i can think of... sizzle took to him and made him smile. which the attendent said she had never seen him do before= he landed in a chair near me and struck up a conversation as much as he could with ? parkinson's very subdued voice and my poor hearing.  he was tall---extremely tall maybe 6'8" if he straightenbed out.....-- i wanted to ask for details about him--which of course you can not do...
damn.

our people patters last week was 41 + 47+ 67 for a 155-- there is no end to what a nice dane can do  to make people smile.  and there is no end to the need--

"and the lord protects the barber and he makes the stubble grow." ( i forget which broadway show)
