shatting sunday... thank you all for the sell outs once again.. all those $10 chicken bricks do "come together" in the production of a service dog... like apple who will graduate today.. usually teh recipient would come to crazy acres for 24 hour bonding.. and then a few houyrs of supermarket living before going home with the new person.
thanks to cov.... we will be trying a new concept... mary ( new peraon) lives in arlington.... right down the street from one of my old ma want ad magazine routes so we ... laura and i.... are going to introduce them thIS morning on arlington... we will g in 2 cars me withthe parafanilia and laura withapple/alice/abby.. or whatever name she eventually haqs... i have in my mind how to try this, but reading the dog is more impoirtant than making plans .. unlike theaccountqants and business people who insist we have a 5 year plaan, with animals it is more a 5 minute plan... if that.----nice woman ... has volunteered here for a while...alice apple is a lovely dog a people lover.. what we do not have... and judy made upo a pretty good startt... i don't like to say " a list comands" any more than you haave a list of commands for your 3 year old child. --- you hopefully talk to your child.... and you shoule talk to your dog. which of course brings me to hte fact thagt bentley thinks he has 2 names "DAMMIT DOG" being the other one.

i am sure you have noticed my left pinky finger haqs an affection for the q key... i fix manny but don't see them all. it is a left pinky problem.. just one more thing i can blaqme on age. i have alot of those.

tp further the my concept of dog training as it relates to macdonalde happy meaqls "get 'em young train em' early...." .. i was not happy abput Last years puppy march at dog fewst... for the previous years the march has been perfect.. the pups all headed one direcgion behind whoever had the caqn of purins mushy wet food. THAT LAST YEAR... we had not done our homework and those pups scattered in a very upsetting mqnner... shows we had faIlewd in th puppy production departmetn.---- pam is certainly a super kitchen manager for puppies, but i think we did not do enough of the more indipendent outdoor exercises.. and i am thinking haley mighT be good at that... JUST A DAILY MARCH down to annies bench FOR A COUPLE RECALLS and back... AFTER HAVING PUT A BARRIER AT THE ELECTRIC GATE SO THE PUPS WOULD HAVE "AN AREA" BIGGER THAN THE KITCHEN... IT WOUJLJD'NT TAKE MORE THAN 1/2 HOUR AND 3 CANS OF FOOD...... IMO IT WOUOLD BE MONEY WELL SPENT....
AND TIME BEING THE ONLY TRUE CURRENCY I SHOULD SAY TIME WILL SPENT.. AND SOMETHING THEVOLUNTEERS WOUOLDLINE UP TO DO.
I AM CONVINCED A GREAT PART OF OIUR SUCCESS WITH SERVICE DOGS IS IN THE PUPPY PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT... SOMETHING QABOTU "AS TEH TWIGIS BENT .. SO GOES THE TREE?????" TOO MUCH QUICK QATTENTION OF TOSSING DRY FOOD AROUND THE KITCHEN FLOOR LETTING THEM SEEK IT OUT IS 180 DEGREES FROM SITTING WAITING FOR A SPOONFUL .
