sept 19 2021

day. starts early... phone call ... somebody's loose-- turns out  stitch-- a known door opener...  now in teh house with lachy and jiminey--bently.  esizz  dand. chaos ( i think that is all..

6 x 150=  900 pounds of dog..

we slid thru yesterdays parking must stay off the road..... somehow i know that...
we couold have done yesterday better-- but that is always the case...
so today.... if i can have all teh regulars come in driveway #45. and go straight back and see if you can line up right beside teh  white  arena-- with a little creative parking we shold bet 10 to 15 cars there... then go thru kennel #11  chain link  into the barn.... or climb over all teh horse fence--- whatever.....

our overflow can be the flat field-- where the turn off the driveway is very tough for bigger cars..... and teh very center does collect a puddle making about 30 feet cirle to be avoided... but the tractor does pul anyone out who gets stuck tehre.

my heavens do we have overflow food...  even lobster sandwiches....   every fridge is full and  todays food has not begun to arrive.

yesterday was jut plain fun.... people dancing. singing , lassoing bales of hay... chasing goats- one person did come to me and say  they wanteed to see dogs in training..... bingo.... so i had to stop and explain.... every time you handle an animal you are training it...  they expected to see marching in circles.....but once she looked around we had qall kinds of wervice dogs here-- working perfectly-- and at that moment ... a small recipient walking down teh hill by teh guest house took " a header".  and teh dog caught  all the flying pieces so she never hit the ground.... while a perfect pet-- very young pup-- dove between some guy's leegs and nearly toppled him...
so it was lively. must have been a dozen or so actual service dogs with partners...  all thanking teh gourp for the support which made all this possible.
i don't know if we arre the only ones donateing the dogs 100%.   but seeing all these people and teh barriewrs they alrady encounter...   reinforced my  decision to  keep the dogs "free of charge".  to the best of my ability.... and to stick to the "rules".  which hae made ou dogs so successful

rule #1.  we don't use our muscles to control our puppies-- we do not pick them. up and carry them around ----if at all possible.. never pull on teh leash-- "ask and ye shall recieve.."..
rule #2. never subject our puppies to puppy raisers..... a practice i find  an abusive convenience for people in a hurryand not thinking of the dogs  devasaation when tehy are taken away and placed in another  home-- or even worse "crate living" while in training-- and tehn another home--- not an approved method from my standards--

particularly if you are raising the dog to deal with the ptsd factor ---   i have to pull  out my  mass vet assoc award for.... "improving the human animal bond".    i worry about that......big time.....
wqtching our "graduates" you can readily see the happy tails of dogs in deep concentration  as they guide theire rpartners... thru a dai.y maze...

reminding me... to. remind you all-- there is an organization IAASP.  INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ASSISTANCE DOG  PARTNERS...  I AM TOLD HAVE ALL KINDS OF WORTHWLE THINGS FOR RECIPIENTSS... OR ANY ONE ELSE...
