I HAVE NOT LOST ALL MY SHORT TERM MEMORY-- BUT THEN AGAIN HOW WOULD I KNOW IF I DID.?
WELL... EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE IT BECOMES OBVIOUS-- LIKE MAIL CALL YESTERDAY.. I RECIEVED A BOOK. "SHAPE"
AND IT HAD NO NAME ATTATCHED... BUT IT IS SO PERFECT.. I DON'T KNOW IF I ORDERED IT OR IF SOMEONE SENT IT TO ME....
. I AM THRILLED WITH IT. AT LEAST THE FIRST 6 PAGES HAVE ME FASCINATERD...
BECAUSE I TOO AM ONE TO WHOM GEOMETRY BROUGHT ALOT TOGETHER-- NOW. DO NOT BE FRIGHTENED....
GEOMETRY IN VERY FEW WORDS TEACHES A LOGIC NOT ABUNDANT IN OTHER INTELECTUAL PURSUITS. FORGET TEH ANGLES AND SQUARING CIRCLES
TRY FOR JUST THE CONCEPT " THUS IT IS DEMONSTRATED". OR Q.E.D. WHICH IS WHAT YOu PUT AT THE END OF SOMETHING YOU HAVE JUST PROVEN.
IN GEOMETRY YOU PROVE THINGS TO THE EXTENT THAT THERE IS NO OTHER CONCLUSION THAT COULD RESULT FROM THE GIVEN SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES.
SUPER SIMPLY..... IF I PUT 2 DOTS ON A PAPER... THEN ONE. AND ONLY ONE LINE MAY BE DRAWN BETWEEN THEM... IT IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH. ---- AS OPPOSED TO
IT IS RAINING... OR IT IS NOT RAINING..... WELL... IT IS SPRINKLING??????-- HOW COULD THIS BE APPLIES TO NORMAL ACTIVITIES...? " I GOT A TICKET FOR RUNNING A RED LIGHT WHEN IT WAS YELLOW." THE ONLY ABSOLUTE THERE IS THAT YOU GOT TH E TICKET... THE REST IS SUBJECTIVE.
WHEN ANYONE ASKS YOU A QUESTION, IS YOUR FIRST THOUGHT could be .... " IS THERE ACTUALLY AN ANSWER TO THAT SPECIFIC QUESTION? ". THIS CONCEPT HAS KEPT CONGRESS IN BUSINESS FOR DECADES.... HOW FAR CAN THINGS BE TWISTED BEFORE YOu FINALLY GET TO THE BASIC RULES FOR WHICH THERE IS NO OTHER ARGUEMENT./?
TEH PRACTICE OF LAW TRIES TO GET THERE.. AND THEN YOU RUN INTO. "IF IT DOES NOT FIT-- YOU MUST AQUIT".
----
AH WELL..... FACT... THEERE IS A PLANE ?HELICOPTER? WHICH FLYS OVER HERE REGULARLY... I THINK IT IS A MEDIFLIGHT TO BOSTON FROM THE ANNA JACQUES HOSPITAL..
MAKES A LOT OF NOISE.. PLANES ARE LOUD !!! THANK HEAVENS WE DO NOT LIVE AT TEH END OF THE RUNWAYS AT LOGAN... WE ARE FAR ENOUGH AWAY TGHAT WE CAN NOT HEAR THEM...BUT THE OVERHEAD HELE.. IS LOUD ENOUGH.
-----
WE HAVE SOME CRITICAL SIGNS ON OUR. ENTRY GATE... LIKE. "GOING THRU THIS GATE YOU MAY BE ON CAMERA". KIND OF REMINDS ME OF daNTE'S
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. WELL AT LEAST abandon all dignity and pick the poo with the rest of us....-- there got to be so many signs that judy put up one that said. "please read the signs"
now exactly where does that start???? at the street ? "please read the next sign? and teh next.. aND The NEXT...? we would look like the burma shave commercials along the road..
HER CHARIOT RACED
AT 80 PER
THEY HAULED AWAY WHAT HAD
BEN HER.
where are these CLEVER folk now...
well-- i just went and ordered a paperback of burma shave. road signs
so expect more.

Good morning!
Daisy and Bunny are doing great and their kids are doing great! We all enjoyed some outside time together this Memorial Day. Friday we met friends at the Marketplace in Lynnfield. Daisy was focused while Josh carefully ordered ice cream and toppings. Then, we sat outside for a while. Daisy was perfectly behaved ignoring all the people and dogs passing by. She only perked up for a man with a chain on his wallet that jingled like Bunny’s collar.
On Saturday morning, we went for a short hike on a trail we found over the winter. Daisy and Josh enjoyed their freedom and independence. Daisy ignored the other dogs and other hikers kept their dogs under control which was so helpful. When we reached the river, Daisy was mindful of the smooth steep rock, and of course, Josh led them down the steepest, most indirect route to the rock he was resting on in the picture. Jess and Bunny found a nice gradual approach to the river. Jess had her hands full! Bunny loved wading by the waters edge. They made a game of it until Bunny unexpectedly crouched down and started swimming! It was a not quite swimming weather yet, so we all headed back to the car pretty quickly to get Bunny warm and dry before she caught a chill.
On Sunday, Josh brought Daisy on her first gondola ride to summit of Loon Mountain. Looking at the gondola from the ground, she found it unsensable, but we took our time. Once we were up close to it, she was willing to give it a try. She took it all in. Next time, Josh plans to climb the fire tower with her.
