tonight  smithsoniqan "dogs with impressive jobs".  . at 8pm eastern.  starring bella and george...i hope all teh great dane people watch it... ( along with all the brown dog people). HAVING  george( and bella... and her family...) do so well has been the highlight of my career...   along with helping bella .,... i certainly wouldn't want to attempt climbing mt everest---to have been a lifetime goal-- that would  not have helped anyone.-- except for those natives who will carry your equipment up ( and you down if you don't make it.  )--

here we go.......
i do not know why we ( insert...whatever group or tribe you belong to .. human..dodgers....  yankees...... american... ...new englanders)must insert ourselves as  the top of teh food chain...  not true !   as we watch teh dogs being called on  to sniff out the remains of teh apt building in florida  because of superior noises.......-  if we made a better study of  teh accomplishments of different species--  just maybe.......
how would any government organizathion stand up to the organization of ants ... or bees....
googleing....Ants are considered one of the smartest insects. Bees are generally ranked smarter, though, and have shown the ability to observe, learn, and demonstrate the memory needed to problem solve. Their ability to navigate a wildly divergent field of flowers helps to illustrate this.

Still, even though bees may be smarter, ants are among the top most intelligent insects. One study showed that ants possess the ability to use tools – which is a common way to assess intelligence.

that last one got me.....   using tools is getting bred out of our DNA as teh younger generation  can only sit and wiggle fingers-- this exercise does not produce much food or clean water-- so someone better  get on the ball... ( we need a  mike rowe university !!!)   can you imagine an entire country where not one person knows how a siphon works -- or how to fix one that does not siphon????... as in toilet flushing...???

i do struggle to do my part..... as i cleaned oout and  attempted to organize teh shop-- i constant asked whoever was standign around. what different tools did..it became very clear.... anyone under the age of 30. did not know a phillips from star.. from slot or square bit..   why we need all those i am not -sure....except i have a 10 pound bucket of  screws  need ing a star bit-- and i own only one of those-- now taped to the ignition of my golf cart.  for security...---

-----

todays project... redo our web.... and decide on a new phone.. maybe.... the current local expert is grandson colby (now 6'+)-- as i seek his advice... i cannot help but remember i spent hours driving him to and from nursery school... trying to get him to think "out of the car".  and  yell stop when we saw a red stop sign... it was a heck of a challange at the age of 2 or whenever it was.....  now i need his expertise on cell phones??? ---- and his 6' to deal with heavy objects.. like fences and tipi poles-- which now have one coat--

tipi to be shipped july 12th??? from nomantics tipi .. in oregon???
