 HANDS UP FOR ALL THOSE WHO  READD ALL THE STUFF JUST AHEAD OF THE LITTLE BOX THAT SAYS YOU AGREE WITH ALL THE STUFF YOU DID NOT READ.

-----NO ONE READS I T EVEN THO I AM SURE SOMEONE GOT PQID  THAOUSNADS OF $$ TO WRITE IT.  WE HAPPILY CHECK THE BOX ASSUMKNG IT SAYS   YOU WOULD PROMISE  NOT TO E AT  SPAGETTI ON A SATURDAY NIGHT.-- HOWEVER.... I THINK IT HAS A SINISTER PURPOSE....  WE ARE BEING TRAINED NOT TO READ DETAILS ---WHICH  CAN COME HOME TO HAUNT US ..NOT READING IS CLOSELY RELATED TO NOT THINKING..  HIDING CONCEPTS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT WORKS FINE.  

OK... SO I WAS TOL,D I NOW NEEDED  COV  GOGGLES TO GO ANYWHERE...  AND MENTALLY TROTTED OFF TO AMAZON.. WHERE THERE IS A HUGE SUPPLY --- FROM WHICH  I BOUGHT2 PAIR  HAVING  SCANNED THRU ALL TH EDETAILS OF MANY.... THESE WERE CERTIFIED BY  NMFA----SO I GET THEM HOME.. AND NOT HAVING ALOT TO DO, I HAPPEDED TO READ THE LITTLE SLIP THAT CAME WITH THEM  ( ONE  SIDE IN CHINESE)   THE OTHER SIDE SAID - IN TINY PRINT   NMFA CERTIFIED THESE TO BE FOR    NON MEDICAL  USE -----HOWEVER IF YOU ARE CLEANING YOUR AQUARIUM, THEY ARE PERFECT .

THAT IDEA STARTED A COUPLE DOZEN YEARS AGO .. GENERAL PURPOSE BEING TO TRAIN ME NOT TO REad the details .. so "industry"  could proint all that tiny blurred scribble at the bottom of MY tv screen... WHICH WOULD  maybe tell ME teh people were actors ..

it started many yeqrs before that....ALMOST BEFOR TV-ADS  "REMEMBER THOSE DAYS???

I remember way back in the 1950s there was a book called hidden persuaders .. I never read it because I couldn't get past the cover .. ,rumor had it that the cover of the book which seemed to be a picture of pouring Scotch into a glass containing very regular ice cubes that somehow in that photograph was portrayed the shall we say active human reproduction .. I bought the book  which I never did read  and I spent hours looking at the cover – it being second Only to the orange crate full of National  geographic  magazines which my parents stored in the attic as I am told a lot of parents  did  -----at any rate ---  the point of the book was well defined by the cover because if you set that rumor out an awful lot of young kids would go byu  it thus increasing your circulation in spite of what the book actually said ..

but the concept of not understanding what you are seeing and hearing  in these ads serves  the purpose of getting you to Make an emotional decision about purchasing an item rather than an intellectual one ..

I am sure let me rephrase that ---I would be an idiot if I didn't think it was pandemic in our society .. It infuriates me to discover one of these things ..

True story  as I see it........most notably my current fascination  started out with a Verizon commercial where early in the commercial  I hear a  child's voice saying “mom “ when I first heard it I whipped around ---not thinking because it sounded just like my daughter Gwen at about the age of three ..

alright so they got my attention which is what  they wanted to do .. but the more times I heard it the more times I realized what their purpose really was is to get women to pay attention .. that very quiet “mom”   IS  In many other commercials usually to do with things like cooking or nail Polish  ..

Could be I'm totally insane---   we all know that .. but now that I have mentioned it , just listen for it .. I hate to use the  lame brained   logic that   “other people have heard it”   , but they say they have.

 

I love the commercial about ---  sit quietly very still for 30 s3conds...--- It sounds like such a lovely idea in this tumultuous world .. but having been aware of that quiet "mom"    thing I'm wondering  what these nasty people are trying to put in my head with the subliminal  message  “just sit there and let me get you to go buy  our vacuum cleaner.”

p.s...  I went to amazon  To look up hidden persuaders since it never occurred to me maybe should I should now 50 years later read the book .. there are many many many books written about hidden persuaders---    I have remember that the original author was vanced pacard .. and I whipped through all of those and there's not one with the cover of the ice in the Scotch and the glass .. 'cause I was hoping it by advanced age I might be able to figure it out this time around ..

does anyone hVE A COPY???  IF YOU WOULD JUST TAKE A PICTURE OF THE COVER, IT MIGHT BE INTERESTIN?????   IN THE MENATIME   MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE A MORE INTELEDTUAL APPORACH TO READ FIRST THEN CRITIZE...

.I THINK I WILL GET THE CD AND LISTEN TO IT IN MY CAR.I
