of course come to our open house on sunday we are open from 12 to 4--
verbiage.....
therapy dogs are well behaved dogs that are welcome places by invitation..
service dogs should be perfectly behaved and can go anywhere you can take a cane.... by law... even our 168 pound danes
aside from that..... anyone who gets one of our dogs must be able to care for it 100% ...
even tiny little bella at 48 pounds has total care of george 150 pounds... has to be so the dog bonds to the recipient...
that being said.....if you need a place to go and volunteer in a fresh air/ unusual environment-
we already have 2 other men who come here for various reasons and the generic chore is to walk around and give out our /purina cookies to each of teh 50 or so danes on the property. it is good for teh dogs to see more men around-- most of our volunteers are women.
because he might faint/fall, you would have to be responsible for him ...i.e. come with him and at least keep him in your eyesite. if he can't walk around... there is a;ways laundry to fold... or........
right now i would love to have someone sit and drink coffee ... or chowder....watch to see if "elvis" has found the wqter supply in the donkey tent . elvis being a bovine from the slaughter pens in penna -- turns out he was someone's pet ox that she rescued and now we have. a nice animal--- all that is on camera off our web..
THERE IS ALWAYS SOME WAY TO HELP AROUND HERE.
WE LEARNED ALOT FROM ANNIE--THAT WAS SHE WAS SO KIND AND HELPFUL AND ALL SHE REQUIRED WAS THAT WE PICK HER UP AND PUT HER BACK ON HER FEET ONCE IN A WHILE.
WELL WE CAN DO THAT BETTER THAN THE MUSEAM OF FINE ART...
WE SHOUD HAVE SOME "PROCEEDIURE ARPUND HERE LIKE MY LICENSE.
IF I HIT 3 THINGS IN ONE DAY I AM SUPPOSED TO GIVE UP DRIVING.
LIKEWISE IF SOMEONE FALLS 3 TIMES IN ONE DAY WE GET TO CALL 911 -
