ONE IS A SMALL 8" Wooden "CUPE ON Which SiTS A TIN CUBE WITH HAMMERED HOLES== AND A METAL TRAY INSIDE-- THIS APPARENTLY WAS USED TO PUT HOT COALS UNDER THER FEET OF A PERSONRIDING IN ANCARRIAGE ?BEFORE 1900?? I HAVE B EEN TOLD THE REASON IT IS SO VALUABLE IS IT STILL HAS THE RLITTLE TRAY FOR COALS... THEN THERE IS THE THING YOU HAVE ALL SEEN AND DIDN'T KNOWIT...- IT IS THE SURVEYERS CHAIN THAT WAS USED BY A RELATIVE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY New York.-- I THINK THESAME RELATIVE who DESIGNED NORTH AVENUE IN NEW ROCHELLE ( of dick van dyoe show fame)------ the impossibly congested road which carries too much traffic to the commuter train to hew york city...
I also have a rifle which still has the thing to poke the powder down.. the is under my bed with 2 others because I was not able to get a permit sell them 30 years ago...if the survey chain is worth a bunch , I will have to find something else to hold up all the things hanging from it as it circles the kitchen and office.

first shot at new computer- facts--it took 8 hours to download th4 Microsoft Office that I am used to... but it seems to be working. now... with a fe w notable exceptions... it seems to be onto spell check... which sometimes doesn't work correctly because I am not even close..
this will present a new twwo fold f challenge to reading the DD... instead of what did she mean to type, it will be what did she type that caused this word to be replaced.. and then what did she mean to type,
the monitor is huge... and the type minuscule-- I am sure there is a way to tell it to print bigger in som e preferences of antoiehre.
getting my desk cleared to the point of accepting this "intruder computer" took some doing.. 2 of the camera people have sent me thing to organize my desk... and u =I am using both of them == the funny rolling drawer thing has my collection of balls--- for my glowing business of the manufacture of monkey fists...
the trick in making those is to find the right size something TO USE in Theo middle of them hold the shape... with string for those zipper pulls I make. it is a marble...- but my bucket of b-ball's continues on with a 30 mm rubber ball, used golf ba,,s racquet balls base balls and soft balls- I gave away the 2 medicine balls I had..and will never again do aw bowling ball
