LEAVES. THEY THEN TOOK A BITE OF ELEPHANT POOP.
WHEN THE ANIMAL EATS MEAT THEY CANNOT, NOR WOULD THEY,
EAT THE POOP.
IT IS THE MEAT THAT MAKES IT SMELL BAD AND I ASSUME
WOULD TAKE LONGER TO COMPOST.

Dear Carlene, I have been watching since 1917. fallen in love with this world. I cannot for some reason access SD related for some reason I am blocked, was able to when I first found your site so was able to read about your life. Linda gave me your E-mail so I could share my donkey story with you.
I was sent to live with my Grandpa & Ma Moses I was 16 years old my mom sent me from the frying pan straight into the fire, I was able to wrap them around my little finger, but that's another story. This was happening around the time of the Cuban missile crisis. I felt so loss with all the change they lived in Yucaipa, CA, farming country. My grandmother had a cuckoo clock which was lined up perfectly with me bedroom which went off every hour. It was a hot night so my window was open to catch breeze. I could not sleep was sad and stressed missed my brother so much, I felt tears of frustration and anger oozing through me. I thought about the news of people cleaning out the grocery stores and pictures of duck and cover just running through my mind. Suddenly I heard a wonderful sound not to far away a donkey baying, most beautiful sound at that moment. Not long after that I fell asleep, I have loved donkey's ever since. Learned a lot about farming, gardening, collecting the eggs from the chickens.
I also want to tell you I have always said warshed my whole life and put up with people laughing at me for it. All my relatives are southern Tex, Tenn, S.Carolina.
I had dogs my whole life seven years ago I lost my last Dog a Dachshund taught him how to pee and poo on a pee pad, he was 17 yrs old. I now have a cat and what a difference. I want you to know my favorite dog is Grey I got to see him being born. I believe he is so beautiful. So happy you are taking him around I watch for him everyday.
I am so happy that you are writing a book I so hope it comes out before I cross that bridge just the things I read about when I could access S&D related was remarkable. Thank you so much my life is so much better now everyday DD and mail call is my favorite time. I just love you all.
