how can we thank you shatuponers??? for yet another sell out !!!  ---- let me count the ways.....

yesterday. was a tough one, but the sell out happened !!  we certainly don't want to stress anyone about giving..
. but if you can....those $10 "chicken brick numbers" are our  payroll lifeblood
and the difference it makes in our operation??????

1.   we  donate the dogs free of charge--- really... anyone with any of the massive problems with. which our dogs deal
does not need to have to try and raise money  to pay for one of our dogs........we/... you all who read this #$%^&* daily doggie do a magnificent job.
the very fact of what SDP does... and the dogs we produce... is the biggest fundraising possibility going. and i am very proud of out $10
support of the "sustaining --- and lifetime---- members of the Shatupon Society of Ipswich.....  i take great delight in explaining the chicken bit to new
comers who then laugh.. until i tell them the numbers which is about 1/4 a million dollars a year....  the actual number is public information  ...
on our "990" somewhere in the world  of governmental paperwork.
2. the next benefit which the society enables us to do-- we do not do "puppy  raising" where you give a puppy to. a family to raise....
then later just  remove it from that  family and take it into a training program- with no regard for the pup's feelings about "what happened to my real family?"
i have avery large problem with that----   i know there are huge financial benefits to letting someone else raise the pup..... but  referring to #1....i think
the very concept of  what our dogs do. for their recipients  is enough. for me to have the nerve to  ask anyone who can afford it,
to join our nutty shatupon supporters for $10 a number  a month..... and bless those who get their banks--- or whoever to send an amount automatically...
i have not yet figured out how to get paypal to do that.....  but i know we recieve some from some "automatic "  process...
those payments come in very hard to open envelopes....
BUT I AM THRILLED TO SUFFER  WITH THAT CHORE AT MAIL CALL !!!

I am sure there are many other benefits which that shat upon society provides two service dog project.. but those are true absolutely critical things that aren't paid for with what chickens produce in addition to eggs.

now on the topic of chickens... we are down to two chickens.. I have to admit a lot of ours were getting quite old and we're easy targets for what's probably a Fisher cat... so even though we tried taking the chickens and putting them back into the old chicken coop... demolishing the new chicken coop and replacing with PUPPY PLAY YARD AND TIPI..    Janet chased away a Fisher cat in broad daylight trying to catch one of the Guinea hens....  which are also down to only two..

so to now address that problem... I have always thought it would be nice to have a chicken coop on wheels that I could roll around a grassy area and give them a chance to eat the grass and fertilize the lawn I've started with one of those 2 foot by 4 foot lawn cards four wheels..  we have many of those around that have been puppy carriers and would adapt to chicken carriers but then I found we have out behind the dumpster carefully saved by me.  a jog cart that was once used as a training vehicle for trotting racehorse.. I've forgotten how I got it but it has also been the front end of the half fast fire department.. when the stuffed bear driving Mary towing a 30 foot? Aluminum ladder with hoses and buckets all draped on it the back end held up by two wheelchair wheels add an umbrella under which set Erlene..

that was one of our better parade  vehicles.. so for it to graduate to being some kind of portable chicken coop so we not only have eggs but we have a fertilized lawn and we have enough chickens for chatting Sunday... which we did yesterday with only two chickens.

just to keep you totally up to date the white chickens for some reason are super at flying so if we use a white chicken which we did yesterday we have to tether it with a piece of hAy string..

Now if   MARK mark. comes along today we can take a big bite add fencing in that puppy playpen as I think I finally have all the pieces lined up to get that done .

and now that we have cameras again you could all watch it as we put it up and take it down and put it up and take it down and put it up and take it down and finally get it right

for the Super observant camera person.  I already know that the lace pINS .. on the front of the TP needs some correction

the pens should have gone from HOLE A. TO D.... TO C TO B. ( I THINK)AT ANY RATE THEY NEED FIXING....... AND IT AIN’T GONNNA BE EASY)
