SAND--- TODAY--- LATER THIS AFTERNOON-- AFTER I GO AND PICK OUT THE KIND OF SAND WE WANT---

APPARENTLY --- THERE ARE 3--- I ONLY KNOW. TWO... . ONE THAT PACKS, AND ONE THAT STAYS SLIPPERY

AND THE QUANTITY IS DETERMINED BY THE SIZE OF THE TRUCK-- AND THAT IS DETERMINEED BY WHERE THE TRUCK WILL BE TO DUMP IT...

SO I HAVE SOME FIGURING TO DO. CAN'T DUMP ON A TIPPY PLACE....

THE KITCHEN CABINET PROJECT IS PROGRESSING NICELY--- WE HAVE SOME HUGE SORTING TO DO..... WE HAVE ABOUT 6 CUBIC YARDS OF POT LIDS....

PROBABLY HALF HAVE THE POT THEY GO TO... MAYBE SET UP A SORTING TABLE

SPEAKING OF POTS....... DOGFEST;;;;; ONCE BEFORE I SET UP A "CAMPFIRE" WITH A BIG POT OF WATER ON THE SATURDAY OF DOG FEST

WITH THE INTENTION OF HAVING PEOPLE BOIL CORN... FROM THE FARM DOWN THE STREET... I HAD NOT LIGHTED TEH FIRE - AND J UST BEFORE LUNCH

I SAW SOMEONE STANDING NEXT TO THE POT-- SO I SUGGESTED SHE LIGHT IT.... AT WHICH TIME SHE PULLED OUT HRE CELL PHONE AND WAS DIAL;ING "HOW DO. I LIGHT A FIRE?"

A STAFF MEMBER SAW HER AND SAID "I TAKE MY DRYER LINT AND STUFF IT IN A TOILET PAPER CARDBOARD ROLL AND USE THAT...

SO SHE GATHERED UP A FRIEND AND WENT ROUND THE PROPERTY GETTING DRYER LINT--- THEY BECAME "THING ONE AND THING TWO?... OF ?DR SEUSS FAME???

AND ARE THE REASON CAMERA PEOPLE ---TO THIS DAY--- SEND ME DRYER LINT>

Which is just one more demonstration of how the Internet is ruining our minds and society in general----- yesterday-----I had planned on having supper with the Wednesday shipment of real eats which is a bagged food which we have been enjoying...  plus since I could not get to a store at that moment I ordered a collection of miscellaneous food from Whole Foods now run by Amazon the Whole Foods was supposed to be delivered between 4:00 and 6:00 in the afternoon and I got a notice from UPS that the real foods had been delivered at 4:05 at my front door wherever that is.. and I could not figure out where that was because I drove all over and do not find the 23 pounds in the box from real eats... As for the Whole Foods I had to call my daughter in North Carolina to see if she inadvertently ended up with seven oranges and a loaf of bread or whatever because her name is also listed in my Whole Foods account and I wasn't totally sure I hadn't clicked on the wrong address... but no she did not have my oranges so I don't know what happened to those... Whole Foods doesn't seem to have any record whatsoever but they also didn't charge me so no real hardship... however the real foods run with a very small order $39 and that does show in my charge account so if I have six or eight hours free I could try and get the $39 back somehow. my senses tell me just to give up it's a lost cause...  Janine had stocked the refrigerator.. with an odd collection of nibblers.. including a barbecue chicken...  so I wasn't about to starve.. well the writing is on the wall ... having to call North Carolina a check on your dinner is just not within my  capabilities.

 

I am flabbergasted at the amount of time both Janine and Lynn HAVE  spent trying to get the  VERIZON Internet at crazy acres functioning correctly... as of yesterday afternoon after at least tHREE hours by each of them...EVENTUALLY.   Lynn could work in her office.....  and Janine could work in the back corner of the guesthouse but she didn't dare turn it off for fear she'd lose it.   All the time, both of them are dealing with very highly stressed problems...  of which there is no comparison even 20 years ago..  meanwhile the phone that I'm supposed to be answering does work as long as I am at least standing by the pile of rocks to receive the call.... and then move on up to the back of the garage to hold a conversation.. well my cell phone tells me it HAS.  now installed 15.5 of something.  and did I want facial identification with or without my glasses,, oh and by the way you no longer can just turn it on without typing in a code...   which Donna installed for me... 

 

SO IF THE PHONE RINGS AND I AM BY THE ICU HOUSE,... DONNA YELLS OUT THE CODE WHILE I RACE FOR THE GARAGE- CAREFULLY AVOIDING TEH TARP COVERED EXPENSIVE CABINETS BEING INSTALLED IN THE KITCHEN... AND NOT SO CAREFULLY AVOIDING THE OUTGOING PILE OF RECLINERS AND OLD CABINETS --- AND THE DUMP TRAILER PARKED IN THE WAY WAITING TO RECEIVE THEM. 

 PLUS..... - MATT ----MY EMERGENCY BACK UP ----IS SAYING “I WISH YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED TO HAVE ME HELP....”  WELL COULD SOMEONE MAKE ME A LIST OF UPCOMING EMERGENCIES?????

 

ALSO I. THINK TODAY BRYAN   DVM.   WILL BE GIVING THE RABIES SHOTS TO THE LITTER SO THEY CAN MOVE TO. THE KENNELS IN THE BARN,,, 

SO THAT IS TEH AMUSEMENT FOR THE DAY.....
