A little complicated but Kathy Bailey was here yesterday background history Kathy Bailey was the wife of ACE Bailey who played for the Bruins hockey team and was killed in the second plane to hit the towers a 911 .she liveS in Lynnfield.. There was a little girl IN LYNNFIELD 12. 13 years old who decided for the 20th anniversary of 9/11 she would build a memorial TO ace. So she went out to Gloucester and walked the beaches out there and collected those round stones that are around and brought them back and painted them different colors and made a little memorial to ace with his picture I made the newspaper somewhere and Bobby Orr heard about it so he called Kathy and said Want to go look at it and see what it's all about. so Kathy went down and was standing in front of the memorial and little girl came up and they got to talking and old girl said that she really wished she could meet some of the family so Kathy immediately introduced herself and they've kept in touch.. so I suggested that Kathy get ahold of this kid and say that she has a friend with 9 tons of the nice rounded rocks that she picked up on the beach.. and bring her up to crazy acres someday—SO THE COMMUNITY GROWS...
The circle of rocks gets tighter---Chuck and Jen from Maine live close to the guy called Bentley Warren who was a fairly notable race car driver and Chuck has met him and they've had beers together whatever---- turns out that's the originator of the Bentley Warren rock crushing business right around the corner from us so I'd as Chuck to make that connection all over my rock PROJECT...

The number of people who call crazy acres their saNE place to go IS on occasion overwhelming ---Tthis place is certainly different.. this person from Florida who's coming today will certainly add to the interesting episodes he just sent me a shopping list because he plans to prepare lasagna and Key Lime Pie for lunch tomorrow I found the absolutely wonderful.. it frightens me but maybe I should have invited people here long ago to cook--- this could turn into a very nice thing to have around it's a bunch of people who like to cook...AND WANT TO PLAY WITH DOGS BETWEEN MEALS...
in preparation for his arrival the pasta maker arrived yesterday and I did not open it yet but I'm looking forward to play with that toy other than that I think we're in pretty good shape Judy went up and took pictures of the training room what was there and I forgot we have some strange kind of hot dog warming device in the cooking department but the training room is well equipped with coffee maker and microwave and refrigerator and things like that Dan will be cooking in the guest house which has a proper stove and a big refrigerator

JANINE ARRIVED LAST NIGHT HAVING PURCHASED.... I THINK... A PAIR OF HAFFLINGERS -- A LARGE DRAFT HORSE/MULE. A GOAT AND mini cow.. pregnant maybe... somehow the 2 horses landed in the barn about 11:30-- a long drive....apparently the cow will be in middleton on wednesday..
middleton has a "livestock transfer barn-" - a drop off and pick up deal... which one would not expect in this modern world... there is another in littletoon mass... very strange...
