they have arrived !! so far so good-- 2 beautiful nice looking young ladies to join "our
gang" i use the term "ladies" loosely--- actually they were so glad to get out of that crate
they tried everything they could think of... and a few we had not !! always thirsty , lynn had bottled water for them already in a dish. the cage was spotless as bud packed it inthe big black garbage bag we had aloing just in case.. hopefully that is the last crate they will ever be in...
gotta love lufthansa-- and that daily flight from frankfurt. 8 hours-- and petair will handle all the details... makes buying a pup from germany very easy.-- and not that expensive when compared to the last caesarian for $7000 . which produced 2 wonderful pups...--
of course there might have been 10 pups.... but.. there wasn't. ---------rasing animals is "A crap shoot" at best.

the problem????- an interesting. problem....... but must be resolved before it bedomes a question..... these are not sisters... remember we had to come up with 2 nqmes-- one with a "B" and the other a "C". that is because in europe they seem to name by letter -- so we have to get barbara to be more specific as to which one is which... doesn't matter if they are to become service dogs, but if we want to save one for breeding, we need to know.. at one point their pictures were on her web- we jsut need someone--( have at it) get that solved before it bed comes a huge question. i can not get her web to "produce teh b and c litters...

i am soooooooo delighted. for lynn to be doing all the hard work.... like telling all teh " custom officers" that she is not carlene or linda , but is entitled to pick up the pups... apparently there were many people picking up all kinds of dogs from that german flight. she was second in line-- but quietly waited while 4 people discussed putting. one stamp on her one paper so she could get the dogs out of the crate... i would have been " in a flat spin". so much better that i stayed home.
also better that there are others to deal... when you age, you skin gets very thin and fragile... before the pups had been her 20 minutes i needed 2 bandaids because of toenails and dew claws-- at a bandaid every 10 minutes it was going to be a long night... so i left them in sara w's care--
today you will hopefully see me in my old riding chaps-- leather "leggings". from the knee down-- the suede leather used to provede. that bit oif extra grab when the goiong got rough. .... now. they are toenail protectors...

because our web was gettting too complicated, grandson colby kind of split it into two webs... servicedogsproject.org and crazyacresfarm.org... there were some people who could not understand why in looking to apply for a service dog they had to deal with a web about goats or donkeys.. so there are now two which will cross click ... i think. teh web cams are working fine... especially if you get to them thru explore.org. for teh moment. i really don't know;. crazy acres is and will always be.. a work in progress.

i expected janine here with 2 or 3 horses last night... but i am told. someone on facrbook said she was overnighting in penna.. so i do not have a clue. rescuing horses and donkeys is a nutty business, but i don't know of anyone more qualified to be pulling horses off "the line" and hopping on bareback... to see if they ar e even broke to steer????

whacko notion of the moment-- i think the government regulates teh size of teh holes in a fishing net so more. young fish are allowed to ESCAPE AND mature and hopefully produce more fish (skipping the notion of how human populations might benefit FROM SOME SIMILAR NOTION). I THINK I REMEMBER SEEING FISHNET WITH. 4 INCH SQUARES... THAT JUST MIGHT SOLVE TEH PROBLEM OF THE ROUND BALES BEING FLATTENED QUICKLY BY LEVITATING GOATS-- WHICH HAPPENED PRE THE GOAT DEFENDEER-- BUT I CAN ASEE THE HORSES WERE NOT SELECTIVE IN DEMOLISHING THAT ROUND BALE...
