COUPLE COMMENTS ABOUT.....
."GLAD THE ICE CREAM WORKED OUT--- WONDERFUL HOW EVERYONE JUST STEPS RIGHT IN TO HELP!--" THAT IS THE ONE PART OF SDP THAT IS SOOOOOO CRITICAL-- I HAVE BEEN IN SITUATIONS WHERE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO STEP IN AND HELP-- NOT SO HERE--- REGARDLESS OF ANYONE'S CAPABILITIES, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING SLIDING SOUTHWARD-FROM PPILES OF LAUNDRY TO RELUCTANT GAS HEATERS... UNBELIEVEABLE AS IT IS... RIGHT NOW THIS PLACE IS IN BETTER SHAPE THAN BEFORE DOGFEST--- SOMEHOW IT GOT ALL CLEANED UP AND PUT AWAY-- SO ASIDE FROMT HE FACT THAT HTE REFRIGERATORS ARE BULDGING WITH -- MOSTLY PASTRY-- WE ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.
WELLLLLL... SHAPE at what end???? I GAINED 3 POUNDS AND HAD A temp of 95.4. i got the temp cured by the left over corn chowder WHICH i found in a cooler in thE t tent...
we need to have a shake down dinner to solve any problems for next year-- before or after the topsfield fair will be the big one... after is more the end of october which is ---- colder.....

MOVING ON,,, AND ON.... janine - i don't know who contacted who... but there is cultivaTE CARE FARM IN BOLTON. ( can be googled cbs news not petting zoo.) with the help of a bunch of people whit letters after their names they have =managed animal assisted therapy which is covered by a bunch of insurances... we certainly have all the elements to join that purpose--- with very few changes... mostly signage--( crazy acres and nutt house) and i have no intention of getting into goats OR LLAMAS....-- from my professional experience goats never develope teh understanding that donkeys and danes do... LLAMAS ARE TOO JUDGEMENTAL,, IF THEY DON'T APPROVE.. THEY SPIT.
yesterdays dd i mentioned how dash responded to scot's emotional talk.... well janine came uop with a donkey story...she had a donkey walk with our bunch around the pond-- and one new donkey dragged one kid around the pond a great speed--- how or why bella ended up holding that don'keys rope, i don't know--- but the donkey stopped and walked like it was going to church with bella on the leash....
so i think we have the correct animals for the project... ? another goldie moment?

I spent many hours watching Dogfest via the cams. The Cam Ops did a fantastic job. It looked like great fun.
Thank you so much for being on Explore and allowing us to share on all the festivities. I especially enjoyed seeing the recipients and their special service dogs wandering about and behaving themselves. That's what it's all about and makes me feel great that I'm a supporter.
Thanks to you, your staff and volunteers for making it special for all of us - in person or watching from afar!!!

You guys!!!! I knew the braces would help Eve get back on her feet but I never expected this!! I figured we still would have a long road of strengthening ahead of us to get past some of the pain she was having. This is such an answer to prayer. Now to just work on endurance so she can stay on her feet longer. This is where Finn is such an amazing blessing!!!! Right now she is just complaining that her legs get tired. What you don’t see here is that Eve took a little pit stop at her wheelchair but then walked the rest of the way up to the house including the ramp!!
Edited to add- I’m so glad we kept up with swimming and bike riding! I’m sure that is why she is doing so good! Can’t wait for dance class at Midwest Dance Center!!!!
