according to the puppy nanny-- pam...."this litter iis very demanding" ( gabby's bunch) i struggle to try and figure out if it is environmentally precipitated or genetic. i can not stand listening to a frustrated dog bark/whine... it means we have missed something. even wioth somewhere between 50 and 100 dogs on the property... each one is warm/dry hydrated/ fed exercised and entertained daily and just have no reason to stand and yap like so many kenneled dogs. add to that--- the lazy factor... and that explains why we are remarkably quiet.
the worst is CHAOS- SHE KNOWS IF SHE COMPLAINS SOME ONE WILL COME WAIt ON HER... USUAlly it is because there is no room on the preferred couch... she will stand in front and bark at -- usually bentley and sizzle-- who are taking all the room-
chaos "why is ti taking so long to make up a few supper bowls?"
or " there are no squirrels on this hillside and i want to nap now.."
or " get in and shut the door, you're making a draft on my ankles"
other than those 4 times, chaos is silent.
chaos is really our only "extra' dog... everyone else on the prop=erty is doing something... training, raising pups, or... most popular... doing the "ROAD SHOW"-- with usually bentley and sizzle-- and pups if we have enough hands....
perfectly trained with the frying pan method.. they go around to any individual who wants to pat them--- just hand a fry pan to anyone , then drop a cookie in it and presto perfect timing... for photo shoots too. gets their heaD right in the lap-- or feet- or elbow-- whatever..

remarkable.. except... i would bet a cookie- the devil's in the details .... i think a chicken will peck at a laser beam...- otherwise that chicken is a genius... and i never met any chicken that was near being a genius.

i used laser beams for years -- need a photo of a dog to bite a postman?? shine the laser on his back ( padded) pocket and a jack russell would grab and hang on.
that picture of bailey in the tree with the white cat aT THE BOTTOM??? CAT IS FIXED ON THE LASER BEAM ON THE TREE ROOT.

PIXIE AND I FINALLY GOT OUT FOR A WHILE LAST NIGHT. BOY DID IT FEEL GOOD. IT’S BEEN WHAT’S FELT LIKE FOREVER WITH BEING SICK. WE HAVE OUR TOWN ANNUAL FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND AND I WAS DETERMINED TO GO.
IT WAS SO BUSY MORE BUSY THEN THE USUAL. I DIDN’T THINK LAST NIGHT WOULD BE AS BUSY AS IT WAS. PIXIE WAS AN ROCKSTAR THOUGH THE CRAZINESS OF THE CROWDS AND PEOPLE ALL SMUSHED TOGETHER.
SHE KEPT ME SAFE HELPING WALK THROUGH THE BUSY CROWDS BUMPY SURFACES AND ALL THE DIFFERENT DITCHES. PEOPLE WHERE SO RESPECTFUL TO TOWARDS PIXIE. AT THIS FESTIVAL IT’S NO DOGS ALLOWED THOUGH WE SAW A FEW.
A COP HAD FOLLOWED US TO SEE IF SHE WAS SD TO ENFORCE THE LAW. “ YES OFFICER IF YOU WATCHED GOOD ENOUGH YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN HER WALKING ME AND VERY FOCUSED” HE SAID TO ME “OH SHE’S GOOD SHE HAS ON A VEST” UM WHAT WENT THROUGH MY HEAD WAS I HAD ON HER RED VEST SO IT WAS CLEAR TO ALL THAT SHE WAS A SD. THE REST OF THE OFFICERS ADORED PIXIE AND COMPLIMENTED HER.
IT WAS SUPER LOUD WITH ALL THE MUSIC AND THE SMELLS OF THE FOOD AND NOT BIT OF THE DISTRACTIONS TOOK AWAY FROM HER JOB. SHE WAS SO FOCUSED AS USUAL. SHE IS ALWAYS ON HER A GAME AND KEEPS ME SAFE.
I COULDN’T HAVE MADE IT THROUGH ALL THE BUSY CROWD WITHOUT PIXIE KEEPING ME SAFE AND DOING HER JOB AS WELL AS SHE DOES. SHE LOVES TO KEEP ME SAFE AND SHE MAKES ME SO PROUD EACH AND EVERY DAY.
