spray bottles do solve alot of heat problems.. just water.. well if you want to be fancy .. squeeze some lemon juice in it. but.... when the a/c goes... a spray bottle does wonders... specially if in front of a fan...
I remember being on the set of more than one movie and on that craft table it was always a bowl of water with lemons in it into which you dunked your kerchief and then hung it around your neck and as the day wore on that bowl of lemon water got pretty tired but everybody kept dunking anyway because one hankerchief chief evaporating water on the back of your neck was better than nothing.. And there was always the craft table.. with it’s Tylenol & Other basics And maybe a bagel if you were lucky...
The green room is another odd thing of the profession and I just heard reference to the green room last night on TV. the green room is where you sit and wait till you're called to be on set or whatever..... every. studio or theater has a green room....... In the green room often has a craft table=== so there..

Piet is home again in the kitchen---- what a lovely dog he is... apparently he has an ulcer.. and it's on all kinds of medications but he should make it.. He has had the very best of care at the Woburn vet hospital.... Don't even ask what the vet bill will be... In the past. Our bill there has been between $500 and 12,000 but they are. Reliable ....available and a bunch of things like that. There were two camera people who did not think we got him to the vet hospital fast enough.. and told me all about it.. but what they don't realize is that with the cameras they could get a pretty good idea of what's going on without actually going to their hospital.... when vet hospitals are so impossibly overcrowded right now, if we could do it at home we will... with them watching.. and with making constant trips to the drugstore to pick up a different medication.. his last visit involved a transfusion--- Apparently the first transfusion a dog has can be done at random but if they need a second transfusion it has to be typed and cross matched or whatever. several of the hospitals around here do have us listed as the good blood donors... and good old Bentley was often the donor. now I suppose it's larkey ----great big healthy larkey.
Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month and therefore it will be a shating day... I really don't want to hound anybody but if you can buy your chicken brick today it would be very helpful... between the vet bills and construction that's been necessary to keep the town happy at least at the moment... we had to bite into our payroll account and therefore we could use some help.. if anyone out there in this world has an extra million to give us, this certainly would be a good time to do it/.. barring that, if enough of you buy an extra chicken brick that too would be very helpful.
trying to run a charity in this economy Is like having one foot firmly planted in mid air... Only made more complicated by the fact that we have 29 animals that need daily care regardless of which way the financial winds blow. From conversations with a few other charities that I know in this area ,....our shat upon society has been far more reliable than most and I thank you all for that ... so I feel guilty asking.. but if you can...
