i sat...... all afternoon... waiting for a password from the bank.... i needed to change
the sdp bank account----- from Donna to chip who's a board member'cause someone told me I should do that because a member of the board should be the second signer on those bank accounts which is fine...--- well...I tried
Age is such a wonderful thing. I can't quite hear--- handshakes to write----- sixes look more like eights every day--and sorry your timed out if you don't move fast enough.
I went to the bank with two dogs siz and bess --who laid down on the floor next to me perfectly. almost... except when bessie got bored and bit into the table leg next to her( leaving a tooth mark !). and talk to the nice lady at the bank who told me how simple it was to do this...i thought someone would just give me a bunch of papers to fill out. And I could go home and get lynn to help me... not true anymore.....
So I sat there in this old building where the architecture is lovely and the decorations perfect including a bucket of lollipops.. she gets out of pencil and paper and asks what's this new person’s name.?..... well she had me right there'cause I said his name was chip.. and I knew how how his last name sounded but I really didn't know how it was spelled and for an address I had the fact that he lives at the start of the Boston Marathon... I think that was Hopkinton.. so she explained to me that this information was not adequate for her bank or her bank's computer but she would set it up so that I could go home and go online and finish the paperwork there.( As soon as she found out who this guy was that had talked this ditsy old lady into ownership of a sizeable bank account...) ..... when she said that I should do it online, I knew she was just trying to get rid of me..
She gave me her card and I left to come home to find out that the bank has for a reference number to verify my existence ----a cell phone that I got rid of four years ago because even on the bank record it says” flip “.....so they couldn't verify my phone so they couldn't do the paperwork to put chip on the bank account instead of Donna .... I am dead on sure that chip is teh perfect one to be on that account even if I don’t know how to spell his last name- or address.... I know if I needed to find him... I could...
I have a history with salem 5... when I bought my first house in Lynnfield ?1961? salem 5 was the mortgage holder—and I had the impossibly high mortgage payment of $305 a month... and there were months when I had to scrape for that $305 as I was in the WantAd magazing business and got paid $.02 cents a copy at that point.... an awful lot of magazines got sold for what is now that barn and indoor arena....
. lotsa funny stories..... one that comes to mind.......... my husband had taken his daughter out for early dinner and made a wrong turn somewhere... at 8pm...called me to say he’d be late because they were lost. He said he was in a variety store somewhere to use the phone ( remember no cell’s yet). So I asked him to get the name of the variety store—which he did----and I knew it!!-------a magazine store I had delivered to...... in chelmsford---about 30 or 40 miles from the Amesbury where he wanted to be. I could also give him the exact directions to get back on 495 north---- somewhere. he had gone 495 south instead... So when he turned toward what he thought was boston, he headed to new Hampshire !!!
simple mistakes can get complicated....

eve-- with finn-- is having a wonderful time dancing... and on ocassion dancing with the stars. namely Tony Dovolani-- and we have pictures of that ...e xcept they are too fuzzy... so here is a picture of eve and finn with her dance instructor..
