mom -----cici----left yestterday with.  xxxxxxxx.  ?markey?      we packed a suitacase for her including some fluffies and even a spoon !~mom.  had reduced nursing to nil and was really tired of teh mom bit...so she has one to play with. and is back with her family..  somebody is bound to say we do it all wrong, but it has worked well so far...  betsy has 3 generations that way,,  her family shoveled the kennels out while at it....

exploding pipes took over the excitement last night..problem was a door in the laundry building. blew open. and teh pipes in tht bathroom split and sprayed far and wide....i had to shut off everything but the house.. becasue teh carefully planned shut offs were inder 6 foot piles opf snow.   the debate then became  to mend and let drip,, or to leave it all shut off.. all being guest/laqundry/icu/barn ,,,leaving it all shut off was deemed the way togo... all those handy faucets in summer could be lethal split pips in winter the shot went thu mu head... shut the barn down at 5pm.. and water off  in really hot weather.. about 7 ( as we did for years) with buckets out of the tub in the alley way  i like the total shut down...less worry...

last week i thought the trainers  should cgo to walmaqrt and get teh jeryy carriers----5 gallon water carrying devices--- now i knoe they should ,,, if there are any left -- i did have some emergency ones.. light blue-- carefully labeled water only-- but who know where>>. haykoft ??

so they shoveled snow into the neqrly empty tub in the alley  and put in 2 ice melters from tractor supply  withhopes they will be water by morning-- there is some statistic like one foot of snow makes one inch of waterbut what the heck... that is what ewe have,,at the  moment.

the other shocker is that these mitsuibisi heaters do not heat in extreme cold weater. something about they take heat from the  old weather- making it colder so if it is too low to begin with there is no heat to be had out of zero degrees. yes you heard that right- back in the heat of summer i remarked we still had the electric  baseboard.  but never checked to have teh circuit breakers right to aqccomodate.  the switch...

  experience comes from bad experience....  why fix the roof when it is not raining.--- we are a case study in that !!

so  with one foot firmly plantede in mid air... joe-- the plumber will be back about 8am today.. from what i see, he may as well just move in... plus he has a couple kids with himn whwo love the puppies..  

a significant problem is the house to barn water supply happened at 4 feet and  we then put the laundry buildiing  on top of that-- and somehow went around teh building 5; deep.

which now has 6' piles of snow on top of it.

and after all the worry about horses out in the cold.... my mare carefully planeted herself  in the doorway.   rear end in stall, head and neck out in the blizzatd- last heard fropkm, janione was peading for those wanting to loose weight shoveling snow at meridith.... while the 2 old xxxxx's  ( ann and i ) sat in front of fireplaces yapping on the phone for an hour or so... talking about donkeys....  spmehow this summer i swear i will get some kid to exsploit the talents of pockets...  she could be a super star..

my horse shipping boots were considerably warmer than my collection of heavy sox

if i knew teh configuration of the seats in a forerunner. i could get the one behind the drivers seat removed fo easy senry for ageing dogs. i remember..... when i asked someone to remove the one in my sequoia the "GUY" hesitated and told me i was reducing it's reesale value-- i rememberr saying... if that's all that happens to it i will be very lucky. -- my cars have always lead a tough life with me... i consider a car more of a tool. than any status symbol- and a house is where you keep warm and dry,

i do not know if this is 100%. but it seems to me in gerrm,any the house was right up t o the sidiewalk and all the grass was out back with any livestock on it. 

 here the front yard is masses of greenery sprayed with week killer ---- a big p[art of my life has bee to keep my livestock off all the neighbor's lwans..

i have a front yard story. some of you know it.. sorry...   

 While out delivering magazines one day in July probably I went by a house where there was a spotted pony tide to a tree and there was a water bucket that was tipped over----- it was a hot day and I passed that on my way out to deliver magazines and on the way back about four hours later same thing ----terrible skinny looking pony and a water bucket tipped over so I went to the house I mean it's it's not the kind of thing where I would bother calling the SPCA because I don't know what they do about it but any rate I went up and knocked on the door and asked what they want to sell a pony and they said yes it wasn't it didn't want it at all or whatever so I gave him $25 and went home and got the trailer came and picked up the pony--

 the pony was in such bad shape at first starters I left it on the trailer because I had a I had a barn full of  4H.  kids horses and I didn't wanna put that pony in with the rest because it was so so sickly looking ------it's where I got the opinion that if there was anything wrong with it it would have died because it had no reserve ------but anyway that pony lived in the trailer for a little bit and I had there was one place about that property which I was not used was the front yard so I very quickly build A1 car garage size building extremely cheaply it seems to me I used two by threes instead of two by fours even and the plywood was it wasn't texture 111 it was 1/4 inch thin paper thin plywood etc enough to hold up the paint is what everybody said ------any rate I put it at the head of the driveway and we fenced in I fenced in the front yard more or less and finally put the pony that was the pony stall I think we named it "bones". any rate the kids worked on it---- cleaned it up and fed it did the horsemanship type things that one has to do like food clean hay stuff like that we we we floated its teeth and then its feet and all that stuff and it turned out to be a nice Little Pony but that was the one time in my life the SPCA came roaring up the driveway and accused me of causing that pony to be in that shape and they only came around when they saw the rest of the barn kept very nicely the other part of that story is that everybody said that that shed was never going to last is it really it really was done by me and very cheap and it is still standing there today got 100 coaches are paid on it probably I'm trying to figure when that my kids would have been about 10 years old and there that 50 is so you know that shed has been there a long time.-----

 as for the pony we gave the pony to another kid who joined my 4H club==== he lived out on Main Street and the one thing I remember about it was that he had one of those swings it goes from tree to tree and you grab hold of it and you know and swing the 100 feet or whatever between the two trees and I got called one day to come down and help because the pony got stuck in that swing and that's the only thing I remember about the pony other than the fact it did horse shows here are there -- itis where i learned that in the horse world of glamourizing horses-- everybody wanted to ride one-- riding. stgables were all over.  $5 an hour. and any nice horse would be overworked for probably not killing someone and not feeding much was another way to slow them down.

and snow looks angry but only 2 inches so far

with a bobcat and the 2 tractors i think we should manage..  i will watch from my fireplace

i think lynn's yardstick is tied to the swing set so you can tell the depth.  currentkt we are only about 3 inches
and light fluffy at the moment... if it stays that way we might not loose things like the donkey cafe-- or heaven forbidd--- the arena

i gave up on the car til monday.  

we did get a message from itpwoich. lynn thoght it was jst a parking ban

i thought it said somethign about "stay home" entirely. whatever -- we have a few coming  here to stay overnight

i wonder if that qualifies me for assisted living.... 

i know the town has me on some list because a couple times a year someone sends me a loaf of bannana bread.

 when i was a kwid-- you  had your own rfelaives to "look afte4r" one of my chores was to go round the corner 

and see if my grandparents needed anything..  it must have taken jme 3 minutes to run there but,......but... what????

i can see that problem all over service dog project.... if it ain't on my list.    i will spend 20 minutes trung to get

 someone else to do a job which would gtake me less that 30 seconds.

it is endemic ( is that a word?)i have watched as the simplest of chores--- change a lightbulb---- slide down

 to the most capable - who's talents really shoud be spent on orther things... namely bud-- i can not tell you how many kids

 i ave said to. "if you nave nothing else to do   follow bud around and learn somethen,

the kids do not seem to have a starting place. 

   teh local agri tech school  starts them off with how and why you need to change a spark plugd 

when they don' t know about how to use a wrench

and here i am complaining because i know about wwrenches and

 spoark plus but i  can not fine enough clear space to work on  it..

about the worst thing to say to me is "would you look over tht form... i put it on you r desk"

someday i wiollo do an enteir dd of the stuff on my desk.

including a tiny jar of sugar in case sodmeone does not overload my coffee...

i hate to sound uppitity```but can anyone explain why i should not  have a wall phone in my bedroom+if a normal person wanted one ( for years) she wouol call gthe tel company and thery woud come install it.-------- not me... i cannot get one to stick on those 2 buttons on the 

"plate"  so for years now,  the new phone sits around and i have the feeling if i can't figure it out, i should not have one.

 i think maybe... just maybe.... i am getting over that and will call the phone company.

i want a wall phone by my bed.. because i go to bed so early when normal people are still up[ and about-- i also get alot of  annoyance calls-  what no one reqalizes is .. i  now. paid teh $5 to have 

'phone search' tell me who is calling, what their address is , who they work for. and for an extra $20 thy would tell me  who they are sleepiong with....

i now keep track of phone numbers, time of calls and could have a field day  putting ther phon numbers out to teh  thousand people who read this.   

there is a joyce in virginia who's phone  has called over 10 times  in the past week...-- so i called the number and asked to speaqk to joyce... and a very timid voice sasid she wouod be back on monday....hmmmmm. i can not tell who is calling in that one.. so i called anothehr... and got a doctors office in texas-- when i asked if they had  called my number in error-- they hung up.. well. i had this before ... in north carolina and it turned out  the nc caller was a person who was in some way mentally challanged. and left home alone- after i  did alot of research... the woman in texas who answered teh doctors phone so she must have a job there.. and it would not take an awful lot of research to write and tell the doctor what his/her  phone is being used for.

 so i looked up my number''' and quite correctly found me and some of my family ---  but there also were many people who were supposed to be living with me... names  with which i was not familiar-- now i realize-- i have a terrible memory, but you would think.... well never mind that thought.....moving on..... during the peroiod  of children graduating from college- when they and theri friend ha=d no place to live, that crazy acres guest house kept many grads out of the  snow and rain.... and some i did recopgnize== most noteable==  blaine adams who =was w super artist  - pen and ink.. i always wonder whaqt happened to him;

it took me  a day or two to remember they renumbered boxford rdto deal wiht 911 project...this is how i aquired so many unheard of people in my family tree...  

so beware....yet another way we are attacked by computers....

i have to report on my equine shipping boots.... 12" long... they are keeping my lower legs from freezing.  you might need  a velcro  Strap extender for your upper leg because a horse leg does not widen... but they are working!

 LINED UP TO "DO CORNERS" AFTER THE BIG DUMP TRUCK ROAR BY..

  SUPPORTING THESE 9 PUPS HAS GROWN--- SIGNIFICANTLY WILL HARDLY DESCRIBE "THE MILK BAR" 

TIME FOR SDP TO DIG AROUND AND FIND HER  BRAZZIER TO HOLD UP THE

another day .. another day by the fireplace/. well-------- i might get out.  the salesman at ira toyota.  was pushing me to settle on my new car... when i don't have ins payment on the old one-- threatened   in a very mild way :"might get sold"  - i have $1000 down  ---  and teh little old lady part of me got in motion'''' people don't realize how much time we old gals have to spend on something that annoys  us.  so i went. right to the door that said " service  appointments only- the door opened nicely for me i had no appointment-  with all the toyotas we now have, there is a guy i know there pretty well   william...... so as i sat there. tying up one appointms only lane.. they hurried and found william for me... i quickly explained how i did not want to pick up my new car yet, til i had the ins money to help pay for it.it and teh paperwork was.  "in the mail" 

it was an interesing study-- the sales department had the  " let me push your decision"  attitude and the service department was more the let me help you- the service bunch said if you have. a deposit down it is yours without any question... the sales guy said :i hope you don't loose it.  i sat there blocking a lane toying with one bunch against the other.    there was no doubt who i was... with sizzles head hanging out the window... they know. 

also    one side does not like the other..  the  guy who's gob it was to analyze the car problem. give yu a number, get you out of the car  and into the r waiting room.  swore he had no way of contacting anyone in the sal;es dep[artemet-- thru one door.  he didn't like them..

it is a huge place..but even there the nasty negs get together and raise heck. along comes guy #14. with clipboard.. said he was the tire checking expert---and i ex[alined i was waiting for a car i already bought  but no one seems to be able to get hold of the.  salesman...... i later saw him in the service office- and he did not check anyones tires but mine.. i like william there... everyone elsw has been managed to the point of no return 

 finally they got william -- i said if i had to i could leave this rav4 and take the new. 4 runner- he asked what was wrong with the car i was in.. i said it has all kinds of lights on -- he said one word ....RATS. and we are back where i was 3 weeks ago.  i am thinking.  it is going to ber tough replacing all the rav4's with a newer version....  they are nice cars.... with wires all coated with the rat equiveint of chrispy creme   we have  3 of them.

Sorry that the calendars are "lost in mail space". I sent my phone bill, received notice that my payment was late and my service would be shut off and I may have to pay fo a whole new service. The next bill came as a double charge and then the original payment came back 2 months after it was mailed. I was returned as undeliverable as addressed ( even though it was a pre-printed return slip. The mail delivery leaves a LOT TO BE DESIRED!!!!!

i should read that whole "IF". every morning... 

thankfully  bud just kept the fire going all  yesterday and i did not move-- all day in the  old chair in front of the fireplace.

welllll mentally i was moving, but  the rest of me was off duty.

i do have some info of worth to pass on....for all the info about apple computers saving things on the internet "cloud". and how you no longer have to worry about backing up information becasue it is on------the cloud-----    they left out one word...."sometimes".  after  going all the way thru the apple repair organization from household geek squads to   teh very adulated  genius squad's official diagnosis "it is fried.. and don't spend any more than $300 trying to get data retrieved... it is not there. or if it is there you can not get to it."  

and all that is after .." an appointment with the genius squad  is so hard to get because they are sooooooo busy fixing things "   boy does that mean  apple is in worse shape  then ever if they are overbooked just  to tell people "you are screwed".   that does not take 20 minutes... and they are sooooo booked. the next appointment was in boston next week????

so lynn boought me some kind of. HP  notebookie thing.  i just need a fancy typewriter-- i no longer care what the weather is in fairbanks alaska on alternate thursdays.  i think she avoided an apple product.....  and it is such a cute name.... apple...

i was- 120 years ago... an IBM person==== i wonder if that still works?????  it is at the end of the white cord which is strung across teh "living room" to the overflow room.. last known to have. a couple thousand variety stores that carried teh want ad. on it.

if i am lucky i will get the new car today...  paperwork  has never been my friend... he said to bring the old reg...  well maybe...  the other piece of papar is the check .. and the insurance company has not yet paid for the totalling of the old car...   so i am suffering from gapposis in  the checking. account..  if the insurance3 company does not come thru with the $26,000  they said they wouold... i will be in some interesting trouble.  "THEY". say the paperwork that will release the check is "IN THE MAIL". 

  did i tell everyone about the calenders that were mailed  on dec 19th that seem to have gone astray????   what??? me worry????

my next  assignment... here is a fun one..

 cambridge had a yearly event along the charles irver  which turned into "every sunday memdrive is closed to gtraffic and people are all over sunning themselves...-  it is a perfect place to have a donkey marathon-- all the pieces are there.. and janione sid if i get permission she will pull it off... with a donkey invatitional..    that oneshe went toincolorado was the second oldestg  marathon in the country...  boston being th oldest... the pieces are there..

i could make a day of it// cambridge and childrens hospital...    we have another.  candidate from there...

"carl" (my mother would "speak very loudly' at my farther) "there  is a draft on my ankles". and father would jump and try and firgure out how to stop that horriffic  offence to my mothers well being, while. i thought "she's awfully  picky"

i am older now and understand a multitude of adult things... most notably drafty ankles. or anywhere else !!

So as I sat in front of the fire trying to keep both ankles in front of the blower that's attached to the fireplace --there has to be an easier solution and as I thought through my vast experience with ridiculous items   -- I remembered shipping boots that you put on a horse putting him in a trailer if they're very expensive horse otherwise you throw him on the trailer these shipping boots are certainly the right size and hopefully shape the bottom part of a horses leg and they do flare out to cover the top of the hoof etc..   So as I sat there trying to thaw out my feet I think that there's an awful lot of blood that goes through narrow places like ankles so they're keeping that particular area warm might be helpful to keep your feet warm and working along on the shipping boots department there's a great variety of shipping boots on all horse catalogs and I began to worry about them going around my leg they certainly can go round at the ankle..   So instead of watering a 14 inch or a 16 inch boot which would go to just below my knee but might leave the back open with the Velcro strap I opted to go for the 12 inch which had come just above the ankle we'll see how that goes I might invest in te 16 inch after that certainly would cover your lower leg very nicely if it could go around I have a feeling just below the knee it's gonna get dicey I have visions of going to these adult daycare centers and having everybody in the circle wearing different colored shipping boots'cause they're all complaining about their ankles being cold to be reported on later I have already ordered them don't order me anymore

 

Now that I'm a newspaper person I'm really getting a kick out of that the second article is very well received so I put together the third one and set it in the first one was an introduction to us with Bentley as the as the photographed to attract people and the second one although the puppy picture which then finished off by saying we will continue the training next week with a iced tea spoon so that the third article had to accentuate the ice teaspoon because that's where we now are with the puppies and the way it's supposed to go and we've had zero success so far and keeping the schedule they're supposed to be fed their meal somewhere around 9:00 and three and then somebody is supposed to come along with the ice teaspoon and the box and a bottles of children stuff for 11 and And again at 4:00 which would be just before mail call and I am putting at the bottom of this next week article the fact that we should have these puppies perfectly trained bye March 15th I believe that makes it the ides of March.. and I finished the article with a wanna bet? so we could be in bed trouble there but what the heck get a little spice in the action

 

next thing which will be very exciting today ---------- Oh well it may be maybe exciting today   lynn should be back here toting the computer that wouldn't let itself get turned on ===she had an appointment with a genius guy that's what it's called in New Hampshire yesterday at 11:20 that made me wonder how often they were booking they use geniuses and how long it was gonna take to get this best straightened out now if it's 1120 best case scenario would be every 20 minutes and remembering I think that the president of the United states is booked every 10 minutes... this 20 minute interval could be an indication the really aren't enough geniuses to go around and the actual geniuses are all in a room room on the West Coast trying to figure out how to screw it up so well that nobody will actually know what's happening anyway any case it means a lot to do she may be coming home with a new laptop for me so I could sit in front of the fireplace and not have to be in my room freezing -----I believe we got blankets on the dogs.

 

People are asking what happened to the kid who fell in the kitchen in the middle of the night he's fine. he came back to see whether I could add anything to what happened because he didn't remember---- he seemed like a nice guy and didn't get rattled so I have said that  we would keep him on the schedule and probably book him in places where there are two people like coming up very shortly we will be having another litter of puppies which sometimes demands two people then if anything happens they scream and Get Me Out of bed so that would work out fine.. in that same vein I did get receive the cards for your wallet to say who you are what medical disasters you have already and who they should call next it's a very it's a size of a business card and it it really should be in everybody's wallet that was a perfect case of I didn't even know who he was had to rely on the police to find out I think I spent $9 on 25 of these cards...

and maybe pick up my new car????????

 we have bottled water for coffee is about our best thing at the moment..

 i thought it was going to be a perfect day when one of my emails said i could loose weight by putting butter in my coffee.. that is aboiut the only place i have not tried putting butter.
  but  i could not sit here and listen to "soon i will tell you".   did anyone else listen to the  whole  thing????

 

Today we will start the gruel  feeding of the puppies on a schedule that schedule will be at about 9:00 o'clock in the morning and three o'clock in the afternoon the gruel fun  should start the gruel being ground up purina puppy puppy it's not puppy food puppy pro plan with a little bit of goat milk and let it sit to get swollen and then add water again to make it the consistency of elmers glue all which case they all eat it and after they finish that then ----I for a start ----we'll start in with the glass baby food jars of chicken and sweet potato to get them onto the two taps on the jar and the ice teaspoon.. I can't imagine that there are some of you who don't know about me and the iced tea spoon brigade..  in a nutshell after the pups have had their meal and the slow small rest I then bring out either canned dog food or the puppy food on the the children baby food that's what I'm trying to remember chicken and sweet potato mix of which we now have about two cases underneath the sofa and that's how I start feeding him that chicken sweet potato mix and getting them to pay attention to the sound of tapping my spoon on the jar which then becomes the can which then goes all over the place and why a iced tea spoon that's because the puppies need to learn two things------one is not to jump and grab at food whether it's in a spoon or your hand because there are occasions we are dogs puppies not even Great Dane puppies have managed to swallow the entire spoon and I watched on doctor Paul as they pulled one out of the stomach.. so there's a whole Routine of how to feed a dog by hand which starts with by spoon let me try and put it to words which is darn near impossible.

if you go to feed a dog a cookie and you've got it in between your thumb and first finger and you point it straight ahead at the dog the dog and its enthusiasm will open his mouth and move forward and grab the cookie and just because of all the angles involved sometimes gets your fingers in the grab so that next time you go to offer the dog the cookie the same way you instinctively move your hand backwards so the dog only gets the cookie well the way the dog sees that is that oh I've gotta grab faster and harder before she moves backwards and takes it away so you're perpetuating the problem you're trying to get rid of ---that could get to be a downhill spiral -----the proper way to offer the cookie is to hold the cookie perpendicular to your hand and to the dogs mouth so that when he comes into grab you only have to move your hand a little sideways to get out of the way the dog has no intention of eating your hand they just want the cookie so if you arrange it so that they have a Direct Line of attack which is going to get them only the cookie you're way ahead of the game and strangers it seems I think I can put that into stick figures for maybe next week news article it would be funny but it would be accurate also

 

As I glanced back through what I've dictated here there are some mazing errors that I mostly don't correct I did just change the girl to grul   weather some words in my vocabulary which the Siri person has not heard before I'm sure There are some words in here I don't even remember what I was trying to say about falling out the sanctus Oh well as we go....

WE hAVE HAd cats before----we have had feral cats before and teh only problem has been the fleas.   which we are supposed to be protecteds from with advantix.. there is an 8 month cat flea collar.-- that would give us 8 months to befriend teh cats and get another collar on them.. i think it is worth a try-- teh hay loft has. warm ductwork -- so if we start them there... teh should manage...

i am working in that direcrtion... well... i am waiting for goldie to solve teh problem for me;.

my newpaper  episode is moving along.  we started with one forth a page.. and teh last one he ran a full page with the stuff i had planned for teh 1/4-- so now i have to redo to keep in line with their growth..... fun.... and warm.... in a trainer car.. or amywhere warm.

 now....seriously-----experience comes from bad experience...    long ago 150 years at least-- someone sold me the paperwork invoolving stafff and keeping of medical records for all staff and volunteers. we all filled in this details of dnr-- exhiswsing dconditions next of kin.  etc and felt very organized.

howeverr i did not keep up the scheme---and last night- a new overnighter  xxx ended up lying on the kitchen floor. - heathere came to get me. saying siexzure... which it could have been... it also coudl have been trip fall bang head  also.   911- came- by then i had found his wallet.  which had nothing to help figure out what happedenso off  he went with the police and emt's of teh ambulance crew.  i could hear xxx  organization....telling me we should have complete medical records on everyonE on the property.. which wold be a lovely way to fill a FILE drawer.     ---i told them i couold not see it's use... it was a bit of a nasty battle-- and  here i was in the midst of it...  if we had all his med record, i wo ldhave to leave him on the floor and go thru the alphabet and find his record-- seeing as i didn't konw his name anyway i opted to stay with him and call 911.

point being  all that paperwork of medical history to keep in a file i couuld not tell which building the file was in.....about which i knew nothing -- eeven the words invoolved.... would be useless in a practical situation.... however--- this outfit tha sold me the funny cards was correct.. he should have had somethign on or very near his person.

so i will now go to the "overflow room"  i think ths stuff is high  in the shelving to the right of th e door..  along  ibm computer and supply of discs for backing up... at the end of the white wire which is strung across the mall call area ... with dripping cobwebs...

ustabee....... i could copy my computer :stuff" on a disk-- take it over to the guest house... and i knew what i had and where it was.--- and i worried about  all this float in the clouds back up strff they sold me.  every once in a while.  i would mentionn back up and was assured it was in teh cloud---well at the moment  i can not ask the cloud because i can not even turn on that computer.------.yesterday i spent 2 hours with a "supervisor" thpe apple repair. and did things i have never asked a computer to do.. -- after 2 hours, he finally got it to put that apple wioth the chunk ot of it on my screen-- and whiloe we were. waiting for a line to fill in.. i asked about this cloud bit.. and all he said was "welllllllllll"---and then he said maybe if i went to rockinghqam nh apple store their genius board coiuld see me at 11:20 next week....and "maybe they could...."  all othe genius bars were booked solid except boston and rockingham......

so world out there if you are thinking the cloud is going to help you even find  in which hemisphere your stuff is located.....  you apparently will have to take your computer to rockingham at 11:20  where you may speak to the is genius person for 4 minutes. while he says welllllll...... for a longtime so mr apple can cash his check.

you want to seriously  consider checking that little box that makes you "soo proud".   that you are "going green.....  "

WE HAVE 3 COMPUTERS--ALL DEFUNCT--- ONE WILL NOT EVEN START-- HOW DO YOU GET STUFF OFF IT.. SOMEBODY MUST BE ABLE TO...  

if if I took all three computers down and said I think I have to re replace these I bet they'd pay attention I know when you go into the Toyota dealer and offer to buy three stores you get salesman tripping over each other to wait on you let's say if I can't work that at the apple storelike Haley drop me off there when they realize they're stuck with me until they fix it then maybe they'll do something about it like the ransom of red chief --   boy that's an old book I don't know is it even exists anymore I always liked the concept...

 large problem around here.  is is water and I've suggested we have a video conference whatever you call it zoom meeting with everybody on the topic of water new people you city people have no idea well the lack of water is like we have two sources of water here one is a well very deep very deep lot of water in it smells and tastes like rotten fish but it's healthy enough to drink the other source is Ipswich Town water which is excellent easily as good as the bottle of water you buy however if you lose electricity you lose the well and if you get enough ice around you lose the town water and the volunteers here really need to think about what it would be like have to try and improvise watering the dogs or horses because they're careless I have put in frostfree things that stick out of the house then it turns around it makes water what the hell faucets and all the buildings The funny thing it's about a foot long and it when you turn it off outside it basically drains down in or away or somehow it doesn't get frozen and it works fine as long as you don't attach a hose but once you attach a hose it doesn't work and the whole thing freezes and furthermore it could freeze in the wall which is what bud was worried about if it froze in the wall of the ICU building we'd fill up the walls of the building with water and we'd have one hell of a mess a simple thing take off take off the hose or just don't use the hose in the first place it sounds so simple so I went and tried to the Oh dear where to start the the faucet coming out of the ICU building that's hooked up to the tub of water which does most of the livestock except for the ones that are afraid to get on the icy pad but any rate it has a four prong distribution for four hoses to go four different places and we had awful time getting people to undo that which they finally did and Matt took that four prong thing off and just had the one hose attached which that was enough to make it go bad but that's a key out there is full of junk and nobody has emptied it broken glass all sorts of things in that sink it's disgraceful it's graceful... all of this has caused really by the fact that I can't get down there to check on everybody any tiny little details that makes such a big different I can see it piling up the the T10 is full of heaven knows what there's a bed on its side I don't know what that's all about it's possible to start a fire and sit on there if you sit at the table the tables are full of everything..  and the volunteers they're doing a hell of a job but they did more training they need they need more experience and xperience is what you get from having bad experiences and I think that's happening here... 

 

OK I remember...  the guy in New York State with the six black draft horses from which we bought 2 his draft horses were kept in the bar in the bottom of his barn on the dirt floor and they they stood in a straight stall he had all the windows covered with brown paper so that they stayed black that's another story but any rate he took them out three times a day and let him drink all the water they wanted out of a central watering truth that worked very nicely they were used to it and it worked ours aren't nobody at d trained that well but certainly if they have all the water they could drink three times a day they probably would survive at least his did...  but to get them watered if you've gotten frozen pipes it just ain't gonna work all those faucets outside kennels one to 10 I had all rigged up with removable hoses so that be corrected correct drainage somebody removed all the hoses replaced it with something else that doesn't work and we're beginning to have frozen pipes there..  a split pipe spraying cold water all over some dog is the vision that I live with. we had frozen pipes under the kitchen sink luckily we noticed it quickly and got out the hair dryers with the appreciation of running water it's something that needs a lot of consideration on the part of every person on this property we lose water I can't do a damn thing about it and sometimes it involves understanding how these faucets work in order to keep them running I had everything everything organized this fall but by the time you changed plumbing and changed hoses and changed change things I don't know what's going on and it makes me very nervous among other things nerves or by   downfall.

tomorrow is the second installment of life on crazy acres with the new litter of puppies I inadvertently santin apparently 660.  word words and I didn't know I was only supposed to use 40  so I don't know what they're printing we find out when we get there at any rate 400 is what I'm supposed to be aiming for now that I know and somebody has just come up with a very good cartoon to end with so i don't know what they're printing . with a pup trying to get up on the bed and it's even harder zontal move up----oh boys harder zontal. 4 horizontal???? I'll let that go

 

getting back to 3 defunct computerws goign to the apple stor3e.... I just thought with my transfer chair wheelchairs sort of thing I can put at least two of these computers on that chair and manage very nicely and give them the computers or sit down in the chair I I'm beginning to think that's a good thing to do
