QUESTIONS- I DON'T THINK ANY WERE THE TOM AND MARY/ DICK AND JANE TYPE-- THEASE WERE NOT PRE-PROGRAQMMED QUESTIONS THEY THOUGHT ABOUT THESE.... TEHY WOULD SIT AND THINK AND THEN RAISE THIER HAND... WOW !!!

IF YOU GIVE A DOG TO SOMEONE in europe how does the dog get there?. this from some kid not 3 feet tall-
and it got worse....
how m any dogs do you have?( 50.). so how do you tell which dog is a servce dog?

How do you tell which dogs are boys or girls? ( let me have bentley stand up and see if you ccna tell if he is a boy)

where do you get all these dogs? ( MOMMY AND DADDY ROUTINE)

how do the dogs know how to help people? --KEEP IN MIND..... THEIR TEACHERS DID NOT LINE THEM UP TO ASK THESE QUESTIONS.... FROM A KID MUCH SMALLER THAN BELLA. ?30 POUND KID ???
JUDY AND I WERE FLABBERGASTED... AND AT TIMES STUMPTED
POLITE???? THEY WOULD ALL SIT AND PATIENTLY WAIT WHILE ANOTHER KID STUTTERS THRU A COMPLICATED THOUGHT.. ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THE JUMPING AROUND WITH A ME ME ME HAND IN THE AIR.
I COULD NOT GET OVER IT.. NOR COULD JUDY
WHEN THE TEACHERS LET THEM GET UP "IF THEY WaNTED TO PAT THE DOGS" THEY SWARMED AND ALL I COULD DO WAS TALK TO BENTLEY WITH MY HAND UNDER HIS MUZZLE, AND my MOUTH IN HIS EAR "GOOD BOY BENTLEY" I DID NOT EVEN KNOW WHERE SIZZLE WAS-- SHE WAS NOT WITH JUDY- BUT SHE TOO WAS SO SURROUNDED , I COULDNT EVEN SEE HER.
i sure don't want to tempt fate..... but..... ONE KEY TO DOING THIS KIND OF THING IS ... THESE DOGS ARE "SCHOOLED....EDUCATED... BUT THEY ARE STILL DOGS And are allowed theiri opinion of situations... this goes long with the puppy puppy puppy discussion of yesterday-- bentley stays with me mostly because he is terrified to go any where else. he'll take my word for it... if i say everything is fine, he will accept that.. also critical is not having a collar on these dogs.. because people grab at collars and yank...that would not be a good thing..... bent and siz can run away from a situation they find overwhelming. where it could get complicated if there was pushing and shoving and someone stepped on a paw-- but there was not-- these kids were polite...

i tried to have this "dane discussion" with george yesterday-- he got on my case about reading somethign 157 times..
it is frustrating to have a decient arguement with geroge when he is surrounded by all his staff-- so i bite my tongue as he continues to tell me what nervous wrecks these danes are...
with that he bends at teh waist stares bentley in the eye and moves very slowly toward bentley's head. that is the most aggtressive thing you can do with a dog- most dogs see it as an aggressive move and get either scared and run or scared and bite... george knows this-- but he does not realize when he actually precipitates the reaction himself.. it is pointless to try and explain a dane to him - he is thinking "i have to shine this light in this dane's eye and figure out what's wrong" and i am thinking "you better explain it to him ahead of time" - it is a useless conversation- so i chew on my tongue.

i hate to try and explain why i do things... sometimes i have no clue myself.. but we need to have a meeting of the trainers this morning- so i can try explain why i needed 60 seconds of information on a piece of paper so i could make an informed decision on whether to pave the upper driveway.

DOGS HEARD "CAR" BUT DIDN'T HEAR "NO". YOU ARE INDEED
CORRECT ABOUT WHAT THEY HEARD! SO WE MUST TRY TO USE
POSITIVES WHEN WE TRY TO "VISUALIZE" OUR SELF
IMPROVEMENTS, ETC.
