 i have to preceed this by saying .. i was in the dark with no glasses.... but......w/r/t automatic performance...... how much  have we been trained to do/or forget.... without thinking????. like digital clocks, cursive writing?. last night--lynn gave me the portable  desk phone to. answer- no problem... ( yet)....it went in my pocket--now at bedtime i needed to locate my cell phone- so i thiought i could simply call it with the  portable phone which i have used for years....  it has 19 buttons by actual count... and i did not know how to make a call to my cell.  one would think........ but.. clearly i did not have a clue-- i managed to make the call purely by process of elimination.  the 1 to 0 at the bottom had to be to chose your numbers... so the 7 at the top  left me with 3 pairs and an odd one....etc.... 

and they still let me drive....

altho someone suggested all  we "old people" should drive with the blinkers on-- which is not a bad idea.. in Britain cars wear an "L" plate to warn of "learners". makes sense.

i must contact the insurance company today--we have had 2 significant trees demolish sections of the fencing on both sides teh drive- and blocking traffic and freeing  animals...... the last being early  sunday morning.  ever tried to call any service at 7am sunday morning??

i was careful to take photos.. which i have on my cell phone.... someone must know how to send them somewhere.../. like this computer???  dreamer !
