INTERESTING THINGS HAPPEN ALL DAY THAT I FIGURE I SHOULD PASS ON IN THIS DD -- ONE STOOD OUT YESTERDAY.... WITH EVERYONE EXPECTED TO WEAR Masks in public. when there is a group of our "lawmakers" on tv, someone notyiced the people with the higheer degrees ... like MD were wearing masks ... and you know i am not a huge fan of school learning, but it was an interesting observation...
today laura is off--- i am slightly scared... laura just does "things" and furthermore, she plans ahead to do them.... but judy will be back-- she is another
project dedication type... i am more teh muddle thru type.... my source of inspiraton is goldie.. if in random moving qaround, i end up with a paint roller in my hand, i would figure out whqt i could do with it. otherwise i wouljd not even remember it's existance.
like now... that i mention paint rollers, i wonder if we could manage to pqaint the gates around here... the chain link could be pained pretty efficiently with a roller?? and that wouold be a good cov project...-- i know we have atleast 20 chain link gates on gthe kennels and alomst as many in the vqarious outdoor areas.. and they do rust.... they also get full of wasps - the minute a cap is missing or a rust hole appears one has to wonder if a wasp nest is now inside...
chain link......
we do need to invert the gates to the kennels inb order to repar the rusted bottom... miserable to replace down oin the floor.. but easier to fix if we invert them beforehand. i love (and hate ) chain link-- it does not have to be measuerd exactly..... if i get within 4 inches , i can make them fit somehow with the way they clamp together. that would be a good project to "start" the worst poart will be to find the socket wrench of the correct size -- why we have tio have metric and xxxx sizes in everything... it problaly has to do with historicly divorcing ourselves from the british way of doing thinggs -- now there is a thing i wonder... why did someone decide we ,, americans .. would make nuts and bolts and wrenches slightly different froj teh metric.. which i think the rest of the world does.. consequently i own at least 2 complete set of wrenches and i guarentee i never have the correct one.
i never stopped to wonder, but historically ,i personally went thru a phase of wanting to own a bugatti but came to recognise if it broke and needed some gizmo i would need to send it to europe to be fixed... i was better off with teh most common- because it could be repaired by local people.... whoi already had 2 sets oif wrenches.. so... in purchase of anything..... i learned to love sears roebuck.and recognise things like briggs and stratton which make 78% of all the small engines i run into na d heaven hel0 the other 22% when they try and find parts. many times stuff gets to be teh standard because it works... or at least i would like to think so.
i enjpoy teh tv show of impossible engineering... and one show was about the spacing of the rail road tracks and how on the border between france and spain there was a huge resort for people to get off one train and on the the different guage tracks for the spanish trains. then spain joined teh french and the resort stands unused.
SPEAKING OF RAIL ROADS
I HAD ALL SORTS OF useless INFORMATION PEOPLE REMEMBERED FROM CLASSES THEY TOOK IN HIGH SCHOOL.. SAMPLE
HERE IS SOMETHING I LEARNED IN A REQUIRED SOCIAL STUDIES CLASS, I.E., THAT THE CHINESE BUILT OUR RAILROADS. THAT BIT OF INFORMATION DIDN'T EARN ME A DIME!
