THE BEST LAID PLANS OF MICE ,AND W O M E N ... GANG OFT ASUNDER???? OR WHATEVER... THE PLAN IS TO GET THE DOGS ALL BACK HERE AND GET ON WITH TRAINING DOGS. I HAVE ASSIGNED ONE CAMERA AND ABOUT 1/2 ACRE TO EACH.. DEVIN GETS THE PUPPY HILL AND KENNELS 1 TO 8....MAG GETS TH ARENA AND DONKDY SIDE -- MEG GETS TEH DRIVEWAY CAMERA, LQAUNDRY BUILDING WITH HONEYMOON HILL AND THE POND... LAURA GETS THE NUTT AND DEAGLE HOUSES 5 DAYS A WEEK--- 40 HOURS A DAY- -- CARE CLEANING FEEDING TRAINING... TEH BIG TRAINING MANEUVER WILL BE TEH ONE STEP.. WHERE THEY GET THE DOG TO PAY ATTE NTION TO EXACTLY WHERE THE TRAINERS FEET ARE.
WHICH LEAVES 2 DAYS FOR US TO GET THEM OUT AND EXERCISED WITH JUDY DIANNE.. PAM... DENNIS ---- it is A BIT OF EXPERIMENT...
and i have to "finish off jimminey... i.e.. maybe put a collar on h im
I AM PRETTY SURE........... JIMINEY---- WHO HAS BEEN ON A LEASH VERY FEW TIMES. BUT HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO MY INSISTING HE LISTEN TOME AND BEHAVE, IF I SPEND TEH WEEK TEACHING HIM TO OD THE ONE STEP I BET I COUOLD TAKE HIM TO COSTCO ( THE ULTIMATE IN CONFUSION) AND HAVE HIM BEHAVE LIKE A PERFECTLY TRAINED SERVICE DOG... WITHOUT THE CHECK LIST OF TRUCK NOISES, ELEVATORS STAIRS ETC... WE CAN GIVE THE DOGS MANY 'EXPERIENCES" HERE.... BUT THE ULTIMATE COMMANDS ARE WHOA... AND MIND YOUR MANNERS. WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TRY..
I HAVE IN MY YOUTH TAKEN A DOG FROM ZERO TO PASSING ANY TEST IN A WEEK... THAT WAS WHEN I COUOLD WALK MORE THAN 30 FEET AT time.. but it is worth a shot.

moving on....
TEH DIGGING OF POST HOLES IS FOR TODAYS EDUCATION-- FROM A TRACTOR BACKHOE TO A SOUP SPOON, I KNOW ABOUT THESE THINGS,,,
MOST USELESS IS A POST HOLE DIGGER. EXCEPT FOR AMUSEMENT.... I AM BAD,,,, I HAD A GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS HERE LAST YEAR - IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING THE DONKEY CAFE, WE NEEDED ABVOUT 16 HOLES MAYBE 12" DEEP ---IN WHICH TO PUT IRON PIPE BEFORE WE POURED CONCRETE, I HAD A BUNCH OF SPOONS-- THE KIND THAT COME IN A SET WITH PANCAKE FLIPPERS ABOIUT 4 INCH SPOON PART..
I BECAME TEH FOOLISH LITTLE OLD LADY HANDING OUT SPOONS and screw drivers... TO DIG HOLES AND MOST TOOK THEM... BUT THERE IS ALWAYS ONE MAN IN THE GROUP WHO SAID " YOU DON'T HQAVE A POST HOLD DIGGER? " I SAID YES AND HE WAS WELCOME TO USE IT WHICH HE DID AS I WINKIED AT TEH BUNCH OF SECRETARIES AND WE SAT ON THE GROUND AND STARTED DIGGING - REALLY SCRATCHING AAND SCOOPING AS HE POUNDED AND GRABBED SMALL STONE AFTER ANOTHER WHICH CAUSED THE DIRT TO DROP THRU that post hoole digger...... WE DID 15 WHILE THE POST HOLE DIGGER WAS NOT FINISHED WITH THE FIRST ONE....
there are variations....
if you study the "normal post placement projet.. you makd a hole and put in th post ,,, then go thru all sorts of exercises to pound the dirt around that post
how much more sensable if you didn't remove all that dirt that you try and pound back in. the closed=r yu make the hole to the size of the post is teh less dirt replacing so mayb e a small rock or two...my choice is a scredriover to loosen and a spoon to lift makes a minimum hole...tight post
the ultimnate variation is similar to the post holedigger, someoen will tell you you need to get a concrete mixeer and cement the bottonm of the posts......
-i did the wooden posts around the pond.... and i do own a cememt mixer...... but i dug a hoole withthe back hoe ( it is 18" wide) stand up the [opst to vertical and hold it with hay string.... empty 2 bags of cement in the hole add a bucket of water - anc put all the dirt back in.. i don't know whqat is happening down in tha hole with the water and concerte, but all those posts are standing.
teh only post not holding it's own is due to the fact that i dug a hole withteh tractor qnd did not put a flat rock of some kind ibn the hole because this post was going to carry weight..
you can all see it clearly... the back oif teh t tent-- that is why teh roof line behind the flag under bailey's cupula.. is not quite striaight.
