you cp's are a split group-i had a lot of comments defending the police and giving me heck and another bunch defending my comments about one policeman ruining the reputation of many... let me clarify my position with policemen-- i love them and feed tehm lifesavors and make them smile while doing an incredible job standing in th e middle of some road-totally vulnerable to some crazy idiot with a gun who might shoot thme just for fun. i have that part.....
for those of you new comers--- the day/night i was arrested and fingerprinted and mug shotted and put in a cell for a leash law violation, i wrote to the chief of police about how wonderfully correct the entire bunch were when i was a challange due to the fact that they picked me out of my home before dinner where i had already enjoyed a leisurley cocktail hour or two -- of at least 2 drinks of a southern comfort manhattan- where the shot glass i have is an enlarged version... i wasn't argumentative.. just very happy.
having complimented the police on a good job, i feel it is my job to tell a superviser what this guy is like in the field... if i was his boss, i would like to know that...
by no means am i generalizing... this is one "soft" apple in teh barrel..
plus considering my opinion of mother dogs, calling him a sob is a compliment.-- child of unknown fatherhood would perhaps be better.

did i actually hear the latest that police when arriving at a scene are to run toward teh shots???? . has to have been decided by someone behind a desk... .... even where split seconds could mean dozens of lives with those rapid fire guns, i would think taking a split second to try and see if that is the correct approach...
i bet that cut down applicants for the job of policeman.../person--

janine's book--it is really not bad at all-- she wrote it in 2 hours on the plane coming back from that burro race in colorado-- a kids book that is 99% true.. she got 2 donkeys out of the killer pens and sent them to colorado to some of her equine rescue network friends-- to be prepared for the leadville burro race-- a 15 mile run with your donkey over teh hills--- she and her friends here flew out for teh "race' and had such a wonderful time that she put the book togetehr on the way home... apparently on heer cell phone... then read it to the person seated with her .. and had tho woman in tears--
it is well done... and currentley on amazon-- not sure abotu the details ---like printed or laptop version -- but it will be coming... where she found the illustratort i don't know but those are very well done ------ book is "make way for donkeys"
i do have one printed proof but i don't mind selling it out of linda's "shop"-- there are a couple typos to fix- she is on it. it will be forth coming..

FURTHER COMPLICATED BY THIS DAYLIGHT SAVINGT NONSENSE--- USUALLY LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW WHEN THE CLOCK SAYS 4:30 I CAN TELL IF IT IS AM OR PM.... NOW I STRUGGLE FOR ANOTHER CLUE.. SO I START IN WITH THE POEM....

SHE IS LYING SO COMFORTABLY-- ( WITH NOT MUCH COMING OUT OF HER BACKSIDE) THAT I HAVE OPTED TO WAIT AND SEE IF SHE COMES UP WITH MORE SYMPTOMS OF ANYTHING RETAINED... SHE WILL either GET WORSE OR BETTER.
PERSONALLY I AM BETTING ON BETTER... I DID GIVE HER THE 2 "PIT" SHOTS A COUPLE HOUR APART.. PAM AND I TRIED TO Anaylze teh bagged "goop" and it got down to... if bag#4 is an entire afterbirth then bag #3 has to be a double-- we were making the asumption that all the strong healthy pups would have the same size afterbirth- so therefore our logic did not work backwards if #3 was normal then bags #6,8 and 11 would have been short changed.
such complicatons as i have to deal with. i think we have at least 10...

"DARWIN AND JACKY" ARRIVED YESTERDAY-- DARWIN IS A HIGHSCHOOL FRIEND-- WHO TOOK THE PICTURE OF ME DIVING WHICH IS NOW THE INTRO TO THAT 34 MINUTE VIDEO ON OUR WEB... jackie a friend from colby college --- HE WANTED TO GET A picture of the 3 of us together for his facebook... i think... because i waqs the one who "fixed them up on a date in 1959-- both have the artistic gene-- he a photographer-- and she an artist who has become an expert on the tying of knots in antique fishing nets?? i told them if they could stand each other for 2 dates tehy would problably marry-- and they did... and are still.... in deer isle maine where i think he still owns teh old post office for those of you wandering thru deer isle...

with 25 relatives due to arrive, i have yet to locate 4 more queen size sheets and 3 conference tables which will be a positive addition to our chicken shlt program also .. pam tells me i replace the steps to the training room with plastic "wood" 3 years ago-- which was another concern-- course then there is .. just how much dose a group of 25 people weigh? -- that second floor is built tlike the hayloft in the barn-- big heavy beam with 2 x 10's running 12 feet-- teh hay loft will hold 30 toms of hay-- so we should be safe... i might add one more lally column just for good luck..
